Recently, Indonesia has been rapidly developing public transport infrastructure. However, many people still prefer using a private vehicle for their daily mobility. This study explored the design direction of an electric bike sharing system (EBS) for the first mile/last mile (FMLM) as part of an integrated public transport system to attract more people to public transportation. A focus group interview (FGI) was performed with ten Indonesian students currently studying at Daegu City, South Korea. All of them had experience using public transportation in both Indonesia and South Korea. From the FGI, the data on user needs related to FMLM was analyzed to understand the gap between expectations and reality as well as to enhance the feasibility of the design and development of EBS. In the next stage, based on the various needs and expectations of the participants about ideal public transportation in Indonesia, design strategies and elements were achieved and optimized specifically for EBS. Furthermore, we propose two usability scenarios in order to meet the user requirements. This study will be proposed to traffic policymakers for use in developing a design strategy and direction for an eco-friendly EBS formulation.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the design computation and prototype model implementation of a Modified Mechanical Structure (MMS) Electric Bike (E-Bike). It is the technology that allows the vehicle to operate with the assistance of electrical energy. All conventional cars will be converted to electric vehicles (EVs) in the future. EVs will be affordable to all types of people, allowing them to fly comfortably and safely. As a result, this paper proposes a design estimate and model implementation of the MMS E-Bike with the smallest number of parts, lowest expense, and lightest weight possible. The most important parts of the designed MMS E-Bike are the battery, MMS, BLDC motor, and electronic commutator with their controller. Because of its adapted mechanical frame nature, the designed E-Bike is low in cost and weight, and it can also go up to 25 kmph. Furthermore, the rider will be able to ride the built MMS E-Bike without any pain to their bodies and should be able to sit comfortably during their journey. In comparison to the Ampere Angel and DMW Electra 20 E-Bikes, the performance of the developed model is tested under various operating conditions, as well as their battery backup.

The increased demand for electric bikes is the subject of this study. Our main focus is in the automobile industry, where we are converting outdated bicycles to electric bicycles. The major goal of this study is to present an accurate picture by linking the many energy sources that humankind has access to humanity In order for humanity to progress in today's civilized environment, they must travel. And in order to accomplish this, his journey should be as quick and painless as possible. The Electric Bike, which is powered by a battery and so supplies voltage to the motor, is the subject of this study. This study is concerned with the design and construction of an electric bike that runs on electricity as primary energy. In the main system, there is a setting for a rechargeable battery. When compared to a traditional car, the bike's electrical power can deliver better fuel economy, performance, and pollution reduction.

Transportation is important for humans. Generally, the means of transportation use machines that can pollute the environment. The use of fuel oil which is used as a driving force for vehicles can be the main cause of the release of various pollutants. Emissions generated by internal combustion engines can cause many losses. Losses due to emissions include losses on health, the environment, and economic impacts. Besides, the amount of fuel oil resources is decreasing every year. For that to anticipate this need development electric bike. The campus environment, especially that of the more established universities, has entered the public consciousness as being a haven for electric bike use. The main advantages of electric bikes are economical and environmentally friendly. The objectives of this study were (1) to design an electric bike, (2) to analyze the strength of the sliding frame of an electric bike, (3) to test the distance traveled by an electric bike. The research method used research and development. The results of the research are (1) an electric bike design with a sliding frame has been created, (2) the results of the frame analysis using iron material, the von mises stress 49.98 MPa, a maximum displacement of 0.125 mm, and a safety factor is 3. (3) Based on the test track, an electric bike using a sliding frame can travel a distance of 75 km with a maximum speed of 25 km/hour.
