From a global pandemic to the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks and others in the Black community, the year 2020 has cast light on long-standing social injustices. With this has come a new social movement and a call for change. Specifically, a call for transformative solutions that address not only new challenges but centuries of systemic issues, such as systemic oppression and systemic racism. Leadership across the globe has scrambled to answer the call, some issuing statements committed to change, others engaging in necessary action. What is critical, however, is that leadership understands the cultural factors that have given rise to centuries of oppressive practices and that they are held accountable for the commitments they have expressed. Leadership must promote, create, and maintain prosocial, inclusive, and healthy work environments. This requires new cultural practices and a focused organizational model. Equally important is the need to resolve ambiguity and communicate effectively, with strategic consideration of constituent perspectives and needs. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to discuss the contribution of behavior analysis in addressing systemic oppression as well as the pivotal role leadership communication plays in occasioning social change. It is our hope that this conceptual work will inspire behavior scientists to advance the field of behavior analysis and social movements in the direction of equitable, prosocial change that dismantles systemic oppression.

Whilst Scottish environmental policies feature many characteristics typical for modern systems of governance, addressing similar environmental challenges and wicked problems of the twenty-first century, many environmental policy responses in Scotland are nevertheless distinctly contextual and often driven by the ongoing constitutional debate whilst also being ambitious, if not pioneering. This is not to say that Scotland leads in environmental politics on all fronts; where coalition networks and other factors may not promise the desired results, Scottish decision makers shy away from a determined green approach. This chapter therefore argues that in order to understand green politics in Scotland as a whole we need to study environmental policies carefully and individually and take into consideration a number of factors (or parameters) such as resource availability and, more importantly, the strategic consideration of whether or not a co-framing between green ambitions and national identity can be achieved successfully.

Corporate social responsibility has been one of the main pillars of development for companies in developed countries and studies are being conducted for developed countries and the productive sector of the economy. Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate reputation (CR), and business confidence in the context of the banking sector in an emerging country (Peru). To test the hypotheses presented in this paper, we sent a survey to 1745 banking executive officers of the branch offices in Peru. These key individuals were selected as the target population of the study because the authors sought to study the management’s perception of CSR and business confidence. From the data obtained from the survey, it has been determined that the strategic consideration of CSR in Peruvian banks directly influences the perception of business confidence. Secondly, it has been demonstrated that the strategic consideration of CSR in Peruvian banks positively influences corporate reputation and, finally, the perception of the importance of the corporate reputation of Peruvian banks and significantly influences the perception of business confidence by the managers. The main contribution of this paper is that it analyzes empirically how business confidence is perceived by managers, who are the main agents involved in implementing CSR actions, based on their opinion of the strategic consideration of CSR and the perception of CR in a context barely investigated, an emerging country.

Green Industry Standards, as a regulation to achieve sustainable industrial development, currently still have little interest in its application in Indonesia, especially through certification. There are only 27 industries that have implemented Green Industry certification from a total of 33,923 industries in Indonesia until 2019. Based on this data, it is necessary to evaluate the application of current Green Industry certification regulations. The findings of this study are expected to be used as one of the information sources for government strategic consideration to increase industrial interest on Green Industry certification implementation. This study is done by analyzing the factors that drive and hinder industrial interest in implementing Green Industry certification. The method used in this study is a quantitative method conducted by a survey of 27 certified industries and 20 uncertified industries using a questionnaire with a Linkert scale and then processed statistically. The results of the research show that the driving factors of industry's interest in implementing Green Industry certification up to 100% was to improve company image, whereas 94.5% of factor inhibiting interest in certification stated by respondents was the currently limited Green Industry Standards that are only available to a certain scope of certain commodities.
