Technology-based era has brought market into higher level competition in which online shopping set the new standard for customer and marketer transaction. Prior study held in developed countries has resulted variety of customers online shopping motives, meanwhile in Indonesia where online transaction just started to significantly increase, the driven factors of online impulsive buying behavior still need to be explored thusly. The construct of this study reflects to customer’s hedonic browsing behavior and utilitarian browsing behavior that motivates them to make an online impulsive buying decision. This study has constructed the models based on prior study related to online impulsive buying in several countries and proposed promotion, positive emotion, and psychological distance as variable predictors. This study validated the framework using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Finding indicates that psychological distance (PSYD) is directly affecting online impulsive buying behavior (IMPB), yet promotion (PMTN) and positive emotion (PSTE) are indirectly affecting online impulsive buying behavior (IMPB). Result implicates that Indonesian customers are dominated by impulsive yet efficient-first type of customers.

The purpose of the research is to validate the model design of Community Learning Center (CLC) management in improving education services. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results show that first, the conceptual model consists of rationalization, assumptions, objectives, components, indicators, and model procedures; second, validation of model is conducted through discussions with peer groups and expert judgment; third, implementation of model trials is described in learning activities in CLC. The learning steps include the process of planning, organizing, implementing and assessing in learning. The conclusions of the developed model show effective results with indicators: first, there are active involvements and positive responses of community members to the learning activities; second, learning outcomes of community members show there is an increase in the ability of knowledge, attitudes and skills.

The COVID-19 pandemic spreads rapidly in Indonesia at the beginning of 2021 that requires quick action from various parties, including the science community. Researchers from Research and Development (R&D) institutions and universities that produce research and innovation products are expected to provide solutions to help accelerate COVID-19 pandemic mitigation in Indonesia. This research aims to map how the STI community response to the COVID-19 pandemic through research in the form of international scientific publications and products resulting from research, development, and innovation. The data were collected from 108 scientific articles from SCOPUS and 127 news articles from COVID-19 consortium products issued by Kemenristek/BRIN. Researchers used social network analysis to show how research networks are formed in producing research and innovation products in the first six months after the first case of COVID-19 in Indonesia.  Even though the study argues that there is the network of relationships formed from research and the products produced is still weak, the key of research and utilized innovation product in collaboration with between global institution and industry.

Tourism is one of the economic sectors that can make a difference to the regional economy. Pacitan Regency is one of the regions which has tourism sector as its income. Pacitan regency also has Southern Ringroad that opens access to some coastal areas. Coastal areas have some tourism potentials, especially beach tourism. The aim of this research is to describe land cover change and its impacts on three beaches as coastal tourism areas due to the development of the southern ringroad. This research uses descriptive analysis to describe land cover change using remote sensing analysis and social-economic development in the coastal tourism area. Satellite images from Landsat 7 are analyzed to describe the land cover change. The result of this research shows that there is the land cover change which leads to social and economic development. Social development in the area is concluded not vulnerable and economic development is improved.

Almost every day, news about the Corruption Eradication Commission (in Indonesia it is known as KPK) appears in various mass media and social media, although the news is sometimes not directly related to information from the KPK itself, but from other parties who feel an interest in the existence of the KPK whether the contents of the news are in accordance with facts or hoaxes. The aim of this research is to answer the challenges of science and technology needs by real sector users, who also want to know, analyze, and discuss the selective perceptions of Islamic university students and public universities about anti-corruption prevention campaigns in society. The research method used is a survey method through a comparative descriptive study at two tertiary institutions, namely Islamic Universities and State Universities. The results of research on selective perception of Islamic university students and public universities about anti-corruption prevention campaigns in society show that in general, the students did not know or rarely paid attention to social media Facebook which presenting anti-corruption messages.

Indonesian demographic premium with profile of productive age dominated by general high school graduates negatively affects national productivity levels. As an institution that produces skilled labour, vocational schools should be an institution that is expected to be a solution to increase labour productivity. As a government strategy to overcome these problems, the Presidential Instruction No. 09 of 2016 to revitalise the vocational school aimed at improving the competence of Vocational High School graduates. The study uses a mixed method with document analysis, interviews and also questionnaires, the results of this study explain that the Vocational High School in Indonesian does not meet the standard of the industry. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that this study is in line with the expected results.

Fish consumption is very important for human life. The potential for fisheries business has a pretty good prospect, because now the need for fish, both fresh and processed, has not been able to meet consumer needs. One of the local governments that has implemented the Integrated Marine and Fisheries Center Development Program to strengthen the economy, sovereignty and independence of regions, remote areas and rural areas, is Bandung district by building Sabilulungan Soreang modern fish market. This study aimed to determine the internal and external factors affecting the fish business program at modern fish market and analyze the canvas business model at modern fish market in Bandung Regency, West Java. The method used was SWOT analysis and BMC (business model canvas) with 45 respondents. The result of this research was that Sabilulungan modern fish market was in a strong internal position because it was above the value of 2.50. The main strength of Sabilulungan modern fish market was having a number of regular customers of more than 50%, with a score of 0.3912. Sabilulungan modern fish market was strong enough in optimizing existing opportunities in overcoming threats. The opportunity for Sabilulungan modern fish market was to collaborate with fishermen and other modern fish markets to produce quality fish and able to standardize fish prices in the market, with a score of 0.48146. From the BMC analysis, Sabilulungan modern fish market had a value proportion, namely prioritizing hygienic production without using chemicals to preserve fish.

Ten years have passed and there has been no result of an empowerment program for remote indigenous Akit tribal communities in Riau. The Akit tribe is an ancient native Malay tribe (Proto Melayu) in Riau Province. These indigenous people are still less fortunate in terms of health and social. This study investigates the root causes of health inequalities in the Akit community to get a complete picture of the problem. By using a qualitative approach and case study methods, this research is conducted by means of in-depth interviews, observation, and literature study. The results of the study show that the root cause of failed empowerment is a lack of synergy between government agencies, in which each agency had its own program, thus it poses disadvantages to the society where there are still illiterate sufferers, people who are heavily dependent on the underdeveloped environment that make them ill, and cultural institutions that are not feasible and binding to the social system that prevents people from developing.

Majalengka government has taken agrotourism approach in economic development as autonomy implementation. The development of agrotourism potentials is hoped to make contribution to regional income, including tax subsector. This study aims (1) to discover the progress of regional tax contributions in the last few years; and (2) to find out the impact of international airport existence to the rise of regional income. The method used is quantitative and qualitative descriptive method. The research location is in Majalengka Regency. Data is collected from primary and secondary data. Primary data is the result of a survey conducted on 1891 taxpayers, while secondary data is the achievement of tax revenue each year from Regional Income Office. The collecting data is conducted in June-September 2020. The analysis technique used is overlay analysis which is started with potential and growth analysis. The results show that the largest contributions to regional original income are restaurant and advertisement tax. It is due to a large increase in the number of taxpayers of the two sub-taxes. The results also show that five types of sub-taxes have an average contribution rate of 36.20% to regional original income, and included in the sufficient category, meaning that the Regional Government of Majalengka Regency need to optimize its tax revenue. The existence of Kertajati International Airport has made a change in social economic life of Majalengka society. There is an expanding of business scale not only around the airport but also in other area including highland as the basis of Agrotourism.

This study aims to examine the impact of students’ understanding of anti-corruption values on anti-corruption behavior. A quantitative exploratory survey with the positivist paradigm is employed in this study. Data are collected by distributing a questionnaire to 100 Public Relations students as the sample chosen by the purposive sample technique. Then, data are analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show that all respondents are in the category of having high anti-corruption values behavior. However, the correlation between their understanding and anti-corruption values is moderate, while the correlation between their understanding and corruptive behavior is low. Based on the data above, this study concludes that the impact of understanding the anti-corruption values on anti-corruption and corruptive behavior is not significant and categorized as weak. Therefore, anti-corruption values should be strengthened not only through the courses at university but also in the family
