In Sabah, Malaysia, a traditional market known as Tamu (means meeting) acts as a hub for local business activity, especially indigenous people. This paper presents an exploratory study whose goal is to investigate the Covid-19 pandemic financial impact and intention to stay in the current business of Tamu operators. Using purposive and snowballing sampling, survey data were collected from 125 Tamu business operators in Sabah. Among the respondents, 61.6 percent indicated Tamu business as their primary income and main entrepreneurial platform. The Covid-19 pandemic Movement Control Order (MCO) enforcement resulted in the Tamu entrepreneurs experiencing 34.2 percent decrease in weekly sales revenue and a 25.7 percent reduction in weekly gross profit. Furthermore, the overall mean score for the Tamu operators' intention to remain in the Tamu business is high at 4.37 based on 5-point likert scale. Thus, the Sabah Tamu operators are more likely to sustain their Tamu business despite the adverse financial impact of the Covid-19 MCO enforcement. This study outcome may guide the relevant government agencies to mitigate the financial impact by formulating and implementing appropriate policies and support programs specifically targeted for the Tamu business operators, who are mostly informal entrepreneurs.

We explore young people’s experiences and perceptions of knife crime, and we compare these to the understanding of police experts, to explore the perceptions shaping trust in the police and policing. We carry out an experience sampling survey deployed using a mobile application reflecting on safety and knife crime, to understand young people’s daily lived experiences. We then use the mental models approach to interview young people and police experts and construct a shared mental model which identifies mismatches between the two groups and key areas of discord related to breakdown of trust and communication. We identify gaps, misconceptions and expectations for re-establishing trust and propose strategies to tackle knife crime and improve trust between young people and the police.

With the rapid development of online finance and social networks, a large amount of behavioral data is stored on the Internet, which can fully reflect the shopping tendencies and habits of real users. Using big data to analyze consumer behavior is more scientific and accurate than the traditional sampling survey method. Internet consumption behavior data are time series data. Therefore, this paper proposes a method of analyzing behavioral sequence data, which learns personal consumption interests and habits, and finally predicts payment behavior. The experiments compare the execution effect of different algorithms on multiple databases and verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm SeqLearn.

This study aims to find out both partially and simultaneously the relationship of Exercise Regularity (X1 ) and Diet (X2 ) with the Incidence of Degenerative Diseases (Y) among the residents of Housing Kanjuruhan Asri, Malang City. The study uses a purposive proportional random sampling survey method. The instrument of the study was a questionnaire that has previously been validated by the Pearson’s Product Moment validity test and Spearman Brown’s reliability test (Split Half). Data were analysed using the Spearman’s Rank and Multiple Correlation techniques. The results showed that Regularity of Exercise (X1 ) had a correlation coefficient of 0.881 and Diet (X2 ) a correlation coefficient of 0.963 with the Degenerative Disease Incidence (Y). Also, Regularity of Exercise (X1 ) and Diet (X2 ) had a simultaneous relationship with degenerative disease incidence (Y) with a correlation coefficient of 0.966. The results of the Coefficient of Determination (R2 ) test of 0.932 explained the contribution of the influence of the variables Exercise Regularity (X1 ) and Diet (X2 ) to the variable Degenerative Disease Incidence (Y) of 93.2%; which is quite high. Therefore, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship both partially and simultaneously between Exercise Regularity (X1 ) and Diet (X2 ), and the Incidence of Degenerative Diseases (Y) among the residents of Housing Kanjuruhan Asri, Malang City. Keywords: regularity sport, diet, degenerative diseases, questionnaire
