The objective was to analyze, through a bibliographical review, the implications of labor reform on fundamental law during the Covid 19 pandemic. The legal circle did not remain silent, and technical arguments were formed in several articles by renowned Brazilian jurists. Therefore, this article generally tries to bring the legal impact of the tragic and unfortunate scenarios brought about by COVID-19 and their impact on society to contemporary reality from a legal perspective. The type of study is a systematic review, research of the type has the primary objective of exposing the attributes of a given phenomenon or statement among its variables. Thus, it is recommended that it presents characteristics such as: analyzing the atmosphere as a direct source of data and the researcher as a switch instrument; not to broker the use of statistical artifices and methods, having as a greater apprehension the interpretation of phenomena and the imputation of results, the method should be the main focus for the approach and not the result or the fruit, the appreciation of the data should be achieved from intuitively and inductively through the searcher.

Optimizing hemodynamics improves patient outcomes in critically ill patients. There are many types of hemodynamic monitoring. When choosing the monitoring type, factors include accuracy, invasiveness, the desired hemodynamic variables, and potential complications. For example, the Pulmonary Artery Catheter is invasive and can be associated with catheter-related complications. Still, the values it provides have been validated and may be more useful when treating patients with heart problems. New minimally invasive and noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring systems, such as the Flo Trac and the ClearSight, deliver functional hemodynamic values that can be used to evaluate the real-time response to fluid administration. Minimally invasive and noninvasive devices’ ease of use, availability, and relative lack of patient complications make them appealing. However, they may lack accuracy in some situations.

In the era of globalization, the distribution of work activities, increased competitiveness in the labor market and fear of unemployment end up inducing workers to submit to terrible working conditions, with low wages, moral and sexual harassment, accumulation of functions, load excessive hours, among others. These factors can contribute to an imbalance in the emotional state, eating pattern, physical activity routine, sleep and, thus, leading to the emergence of psychological and metabolic diseases [1].

Maggot Therapy is an established, effective treatment for chronic infected wounds. Despite its worldwide success, it suffers from poor public regard and acceptance. In 2019, the primetime BBC Medical Drama, Casualty, decided to run a Maggot Therapy storyline over four episodes of its recent series (series 33). Our study focusses on an evaluation of the impact of this storyline on changes in public awareness and acceptability of Maggot Therapy. The evaluation comprised an online questionnaire (administered through an independent private research company). Our results showed that exposure to the BBC Casualty maggot storyline was associated with a significant increased awareness of Maggot Therapy. Additionally, this resulted in a more positive perception and general acceptability of the treatment, and a decrease in negative responses towards it. Post-wave participants were also more likely to find Maggot Therapy acceptable for their own wound. Our findings suggest that television storylines and narratives are a useful route to raise awareness, inform and educate viewers about important health-related issues. Our study supports the notion that for effective treatments like Maggot Therapy, which often evoke feelings of disgust and reluctance, the persuasive effects of entertainment education could help to transform perception and acceptability.

In the wake of this pandemic, the Government took several preventive measures to contain its spread, mainly ensuring physical and social distance. Some of the initial measures included the partial blocking of commercial and social activities, closing of all educational institutions, suspension of all community services and political meetings, among others. Some of the initial measures also included: recommended and, in some cases, mandatory hand washing; deny students studying in China to return home; voluntary quarantine; mandatory institutional quarantine at own expense; suspension of public and private transport; and imprisonment for non-compliance with the measures
