Islam dan Rasionalitas dalam Pemikiran M. Natsir

Natsir adalah salah seorang tokoh pemikir dan pembaharu Islam di Indonesia abad modern, yang menguasai multi disiplin ilmu keislaman dan pengetahuan umum. Ia dengan tegar menyuarakan sikap anti taklid dan berseru agar umat tidak semestinya terikat kepada pendapat ulama terdahulu, melainkan harus berupaya berpikir dan berijtihad dengan menggali ilmu keislaman langsung kepada sumber pokok al-Qur'an dan sunnah dan inilah yang menjadi dasar pemikiran dari Natsir sendiri serta landasan kehidupannya. Beragama bukanlah berkeyakinan secara taklid, akan tetapi berkeyakinan dengan berakal. Dengan menggunakan akal akan dapat membuktikan Islam sebagai agama yang mampu menjawab setiap peristiwa yang berlaku dalam sejarah masa kini secara pas dan menalarkan sistem yang tepat dalam kehidupan.

PENGARUH GRIT DAN GENDER DALAM PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KARIR MAHASISWA

Rapid development of technology and challenges in upcoming industrial revolution 4.0 require students to equip themselves with relevant competencies. The success of students as prospective workers will depend on this. Initial stage for students is to have clarity on the direction of career preparation. Adequate career preparation, including the accuracy of career decision making is synchronized between their potential versus what is desired (Sharf, 2002). Internal factorof students’ success in choosing a future career is by having strong characters. Character with perseverance and great desire to achieve long-term goals in a long time is known as grit ((Duckworth, Peterson, Matthews & Kelly, 2007). This study aims to identify the influence of grit and gender on career decision making among Psychology faculty’s students in UniversitasMuhammadiyah Lampung. The research involved 83 students from 4 classes and using quantitative research method using a scale as a data collection tool. Results of empirical research prove that grit and gender are proven to significantly influence students' career decision making. Grit correlate to career decision making with pearson-correlation score 0.519 (p <0.001) and gender correlate to career decision making with pearson-correlation score 0.277 (p <0.005). Simultaneously, grit and gender make 28% (p<0.000) effective contribution to student’s career decision making. Further research is expected to be able to examine the interventions that can be done to improve the ability of taking career decisions for students.

EKSISTENSI KAJIAN TAUHID DALAM KEILMUAN USHULUDDIN

The study of Tawheed in Islam is the regional foundation for discussion of aqeedah.in this case aqeedah is something very important and fundamental in the formation of good character in the life of a Muslim, which is used as a pillar and foundation of religion, so as to be able to motivate a person in the form of trust and faith. therefore, aqeedah as the foundation for establishing Islamic buildings is the beginning of noble character. If someone has strong Aqeedah, surely they will carry out their worship in an orderly, noble manner, and bermu'amalat well. all the worship that we carry out if without the foundation of Aqeedah then the worship will not be accepted.

AL-QUR’AN DAN KEBEBASAN MANUSIA

أن القرآن يذكر تعبيرات الإنسان بعدة كلمات منها البشر والانس والاناس والانسان وكلمة بني آدم و ذرية آدم. أما البشر هو أبناء الأحفاد آدم ، كائنات جسدية يحبون تناول الطعاموالمشي إلى أماكن مختلفة. علاوة على ذلك ، ترتبط كلمة البشر بالجنس والطبع ، يجب أن يكونالأشخاص الذين يستطيعون الزواج, لذلك يُرى أن كلمة البشر مرتبطة بالنضج في حياة الإنسان.أما كلمة الانسان يركز أكثر على الجانب الإنساني. تكمن القيمة الإنسانية للإنسانية التيأشار إليها القرآن مع آل إنسان في درجة عالية من الجنس البشري مما يجعلها جديرة بأن تكونخليفة في الأرض وقادرة على تحمل عواقب التكافل )الواجبات الدينية( وتنفيذ الولاية.أما بالنسبة للحرية الإنسانية في ضوء القرآن ، فهناك ثلاثة أنواع من الحرية ، وهي الحرية فيالعقيدة ، وحرية التفكير والتعبير عن الآراء وحرية الإرادة. فيما يتعلق بحرية الإنسان في الإيمان ، أنالله قادر أن يجعل البشرية عاعاء تنمن ب، ، لكن هذا لا يحد، ، لأن الطبيعة البشرية مُننح حريةالاختيار.التالي هو حرية الفكر والتعبير عن الآراء. في هذه الحالة ، يُمنح البشر حرية التفكير والتعبيرعن آرائهم ، حتى يتم منحهم الفرصة للتساؤل عن الأشياء المنكدة بشكل أساسي ، وهي الحصولعلى الهدوء الداخلي وتقوية المعتقدات.علاوة على ذلك هو حرية الإرادة. حرية الارادة هي في الواقع جانب جوهري لا يمكن فصل،عن الجوانب الأخرى للحرية. هي الحرية التي تتقن البشر وفقًا لمتطلبات القدرة على تحمل الأمانة

KECEMASAN PADA DEWASA TUA (LANSIA) DALAM MENGHADAPI KEMATIAN

This study aims to look at the relationship between religiosity and death in older adults. The subject selection technique was done by purposive sampling consisting of 48 elderly adults. This study uses a non experimental quantitative approach. Hypothesis testing is done through the Pearson product moment correlation statistical test using the SPSS application. This study proves that there is a negative linear relationship between religiosity and anxiety of death in older adults. this proves that religious older adults have lower anxiety in the face of death. On the other hand, older adults with a low religious level proved to be more anxious in facing death.

KIPRAH DAN KONTRIBUSI JAMALUDDIN Al-AFGHANI DALAM PEMIKIRAN MODERN ISLAM

Jamaluddin al-Afghani as an Islamic warrior figure gave a lot of time in his life as an Islamic service and struggle as long as it was elaborated in the discussion above. in fighting he is uncompromising of the injustice and authoritarian nature of a government. This is a distinctive characteristic of his character who is firm in upholding the truth. His struggle inside was extraordinary, it was seen with his long-running actions in various countries to save Islam from the trap of materialism to divide Muslims. thus, Afghani and Pan Islamism tried to reunite Muslims worldwide, and open the horizons of Islamic societies to be able to live independently without expecting assistance from the West, in various aspects so that there was no dependence between Muslims and the West.

INTEGRASI KEILMUAN DALAM PANDANGAN SYECH AHMAD CHATIB AL MINANGKABAWI

One of the ulamas of the Nusantara whose influence is so wide to date is Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi. A very broad influence can be seen from the widespread dissemination of ideas and knowledge into the Islamic world, especially in the archipelago (Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines and other Malay seas) Koto Tuo born scholars of Gurah IV Angkek Agam West Sumatra, besides having expertise in Fiqh religious fields and others also have expertise in science including mathematics. This paper will examine how the relationship between mathematics and other sciences such as the science of religion, culture, philosophy in the view of Sheikh Ahmad Khatib. this article is important as a hidden heritage of Islamic scholarship that is not much revealed to the surface so that this can be used as a reference, a guideline in the development of scientific integration that is being encouraged in the Islamic world, especially in Indonesia. in Syech Ahmad Chatib's own words it is not known as an integration vocabulary, but this paper will explain how the practice of connection between various sciences in Syech Ahmad Chatib's view. the idea of scientific integration emerged and was voiced today considering the specialization of each of the sciences which is feared to create partial and superficial understanding.

TEMA SENTRAL DALAM PEMIKIRAN JEAN PAUL SARTRE

Sartre's philosophical thinking was a reaction to the situation in the first and second world wars, which he considered a humanist. The order of life oriented to materialism and idealism. humans are only considered objects, as 'parts' in large machines called societies and countries. .the relationship between humans and their environment becomes very formal, their thinking is based on profit and loss, everything that does not bring use / productive is considered to be worthless. Sartre's thinking offers a way of liberation by re-enlivening the conversation about human values, by opening up new possibilities that are better for the future life of humans. sartre again directed his analysis to the main problem about who is human who has freedom, independence and as an autonomous personal being.

FENOMENA HIJABERS MOM COMMUNITY PADANG

Pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat dalam bentuk industri kreatif saat ini salah satunya dikenal dengan Hijabers Community. Pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat berbasis komunitas ini dipicu oleh berbagai factor diantaranya kesadaran dan pemaknaan terhadap pengembangan diri sebagi muslimah sekaligus dimanfaatkan untuk menambah income keluarga. Fashion dalam hal ini menjadi icon dari hijabers community. Tulisan ini akan menggambarkan realitas yang berkembang dimasyarakat tentang kelompok Hijabers Mom Community Padang.

MIGRATION POVERTY AND SLAVERY OF HUMAN BEING (STUDY IN PSYCHOLOGY PERSPECTIVE)

The research aims: (1) Describing a migration of poverty from Indonesian people. (2) Describing a slave of human being. (3) The correlation between migrations of poverty and slavery of human being. The research used mixing methods as an approach. The population of the study was about 128 people. But only 97 people involved in this research. The simple random sampling was using as a technique of sampling. The data collected with psychological scale, data documentation, depth interview and Focus Group Discussion). The research found that: firstly, the average of the mean and percentage of migration poverty were categories high. It means that most of Indonesian people who migrate as a worker are coming from lower class society. Secondly, the average mean and percentage of slavery of human being high. It means that most of Indonesia people could not have bargaining power for doing their job. Then, there are correlation between migrant poverty and slavery of human being involved Indonesian worker.
