Social work is a unique relief profession as unique as individuals, groups and societies. Social relations as the main media in performing the art of social work practice. The art of social work practice is an expression of intuition results that creates creativity in dealing with social problems. In this century, it is necessary to show a brand new model of social work practice along with the emergence of contemporary social problems. So that in the Indonesian context, a unique character and characteristic are needed. This journal is a literature review from various sources that aims to present the new concept of the art of social work practice in Indonesia. So far, the science of social work has not been sufficient in dealing with social problems. Here is the urgency and connection between science and the art of social work practice. Thus, the relationship between the two cannot be separated. Because, basically, within the practice of social work lies an art.

The problems that often arise in village development are the low of welfare and quality of people’s life in the village; lack of desire of the stakeholders to accelerate the development itself; as well as village governance that requires adjustment to the mandate of Law Number 14 of 2014 concerning Villages. Therefore, village development needs to have proper planning and management, so the village can be developed properly. In this case, there is a need for sustainable planning and development that fit of planning and programs that have been prepared in order to optimize the potential of natural resources, human resources, and science and technology. By matching and combining the three components, it is hoped that these three aspects can run well. and can be sustainable. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative research method. The expected objectives of this research were to find out the existing development programs in Sungai Kakap village, investigate what facilities are available there, and community empowerment programs implemented. It was also to find out the social changes that have occurred in Sungai Kakap village due to the development that occurred there.

The Covid-19 pandemic is attacking the world, and measures are being taken to control the virus’s spread. Banten’s government is prohibited from enforcing the LSSR policy, which is based on Governor of Banten Decree 443 / Kep. 140-Huk / 2020 on the Establishment of Large-Scale Social Boundaries. This research employed quantitative descriptive method to determine if the LSSR impacts reducing the spread of the Covid-19 virus, as well as on the community’s social and economic well-being. The results indicated that unemployment would rise to 172 thousand by 2020. The poverty rate increased by 134.57 thousand. Income per capita decreases to 11,994 from 12,267 in 2019. The Human Development Index, which experienced a slowdown in growth in 2020, increased 0.01 points from 0.49 points the previous year. With an improvement of 0.15 points in the total length of schooling, it is greater than the 0.12point increase in 2019. The study recommends that the LSSR policy be maintained in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and that the government undertake fiscal stimulus efforts to improve the sustainability of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

The post truth era has become a new vocabulary for cadres who never give up in following the times. But who would have thought that the post truth era would also lead to a dilemma that never ended after unsettling the cadre team in Cibeusi village. The cadre team that was incorporated from 3 RWs including RW 06, RW 014, and RW 015 also showed their dedication through regular social activities. Therefore, the authors use a qualitative approach through data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The results obtained show the following; 1) designing social movements as an effort made by the Cibeusi cadre team in overcoming health information hoaks and the post truth era; 2) the Cibeusi cadre team's social movement implementation consists of 3 words, namely active, innovative, and creative; 3) cadre team social movements include communication programs in the form of counseling and training involving academics or related medical personnel as the main sources in providing literacy movement training programs; 4) Evaluation of the ongoing literacy movement as part of the success of the government health program output.

This study was motivated by globalization progress, causing the Indonesian people to lose national character and leave local wisdom from generation to generation. Therefore, it is necessary to have character building for students amidst technological advances so that the character traits of students can be applied in everyday life. One of the learning activities with character education is a social science, especially at the elementary school level. This study aimed to analyze the local wisdom-based character building through social science learning in elementary schools. This study used a qualitative approach with a library research method. Based on the results, the local wisdom-based character education through social science learning in elementary schools had to apply 18 character traits defined by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Elementary schools include local wisdom values in their learning plans and apply them to thematic learning.

At this time, various social media have emerged which function like radio. The convenience provided by social media made people use it. So that social media users were increasing and it was possible to reduce radio fans. But on the one hand, there were still people who like radio broadcasts. This study aimed to explain the reasons why fans are still listening to GIS FM radio amid social media. This research used qualitative research methods with data collection techniques interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data used technical triangulation. The results of this study indicate that fans are still loyal to listen to GIS FM radio broadcasts. The rationality of fan action was seen in the tradition of sending attention depicts traditional rationality, the enjoyment arising from reading attention by broadcasters that depict affective rationality, the effectiveness of radio as a tool that is easily controlled illustrates instrumental rationality, and the closeness that fans and broadcasters build represent value-oriented rationality. This made fans still listen to GIS FM radio amid the rise of social media.
