Occupational Safety and Health is the program to protect workers from the dangers of work accidents and occupational diseases that may occur during work. This study was conducted to determine the implementation performance of occupational safety and health program, to find out the obstacles during the implementation occupational safety and health programs, as well as labor laws and regulations relating to OSH on construction projects in Dili Timor Leste. This study collected data by distributing questionnaires to employees who work on the four (4) ongoing construction projects in Dili. Data analysis was carried out on Microsoft Excel which further processed the data using the mean count to determine the average value of the questionnaire and the standard deviation. This study found that the project in Dili has implemented the Occupational Safety and Health program. This can be seen from the overall results of the analysis with a mean value of 4.49 and a standard deviation of 0.473. From these results, it can be concluded that every construction project company prioritizes the implementation of OHS. The second result is the obstacles in applying OHS; from the analysis results show that the barriers from the worker side are rank 1 with a mean value of 2.90 and a standard deviation of 0.925. It can be concluded that many obstacles in implementing the OSH program occur from the workers' side due to the lack of awareness and knowledge of workers about OSH in working on construction projects. The result of the third analysis is Timor Leste's labor laws and regulations. The results of the analysis show that it is sufficient for companies to apply Law no. 4/2012 on employment in the areas of security, hygiene and health in the workplace.

Background: Maternity care is an integral part of primary health care (PHC) systems worldwide. This study aimed to develop a new model for evaluating the maternity health program (MHP) in Iran. Methods: In this mixed-methods study, first, the challenges of MHP were surveyed through systematic review and expert interviews. Next, to identify the existing shortcomings in MHP evaluation system, the SWOT technique, cross-sectional study and comparative analyses were used. Finally, the Delphi technique was used to reach consensus on developed evaluation standards. Results: The final developed evaluation model contains five dimensions including reproductive health/family planning, maternity health, health records, evaluation, and resources management. Overall, this model has 32 standards and 289 measures. The scores obtained for the sum of the measures in two importance and applicability criteria were 8.24 and 7.85, which these scores are estimated to be equal to 91.55 and 87.22 percent of the highest possible scores, respectively. Conclusion: Considering the comprehensiveness of the obtained model, it is hoped that it could lead to performance improvement of the PHC centers in the area of maternity health.

Acute respiratory infections are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among young children globally. The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of the Cholera-Hospital-Based-Intervention-for-7-days (CHoBI7) handwashing with soap and water treatment mobile health (mHealth) program on respiratory illness among diarrhea patients and their household members in urban Dhaka, Bangladesh. A cluster-randomized controlled trial of the CHoBI7 mHealth program was conducted among diarrhea patient households in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Patients were randomized to three arms: standard recommendation on oral rehydration solution use, health facility delivery of CHoBI7 plus mHealth (weekly voice and text messages) (no home visits), and health facility delivery of CHoBI7 plus two home visits and mHealth. Respiratory symptoms were assessed during monthly clinical surveillance over the 12-month surveillance period. Respiratory illness was defined as rapid breathing, difficulty breathing, wheezing, or coughing. Two thousand six hundred twenty-six participants in 769 households were randomly allocated to three arms: 849 participants to the standard message arm, 886 to mHealth with no home visits arm, and 891 to the mHealth with two home visits. Compared with the standard message arm, participants in the mHealth with no home visits arm (Prevalence Ratio [PR]: 0.88 [95% CI: 0.79, 0.98]), and the mHealth with two home visits arm (PR: 0.88 [95% CI: 0.79, 0.98]) had significantly lower respiratory illness prevalence over the 12-month program period. Our findings demonstrate that the CHoBI7 mHealth program is effective in reducing respiratory illness among diarrhea patient households.

World Health Organization (WHO) data shows approx 1.13 billion people in the world have hypertension, meaning that 1 in 3 people in the world is diagnosed with hypertension. Hypertension is called the silent killer because in most cases it does not show any signs and symptoms, so the patient does not know if he has hypertension. Objectives After being given the application of guided imagination, it is hoped that there will be changes in blood pressure in patients who have hypertension in the elderly and know how to treat hypertension without using drugs. The implementation of this activity is done by first measuring blood pressure in the elderly and then doing guided imagination. It was found that the elderly suffered from hypertension but did not know how to use non-pharmacological treatment and this Guided Imagination had never been applied in Lingsar Village. Thus this health program is very supportive and very effective to be carried out, especially this Guided Imagination activity so that it can be used as a routine program such as socialization, health programs. Implementation of Guided Imagination This is very good for lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Therefore nurses at the Puskesmas can also apply the Guided Imagination technique to help lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension Keywords: Guided Imagination, Blood Pressure, Hypertension Patients

Background: There are gaps in knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) regarding immunization and National Maternal and Child Health program among health care workers. Aims and Objectives: This study aims to study the KAP gaps related with immunization among medical students at a teaching institute. Materials and Methods: A total of 321 medical students were evaluated using a 54-item pre-validated inventory containing 36 items on knowledge, 8 on attitude, and 10 on practice with total possible scores of 55, 8, and 17, respectively. Details regarding type of student (undergraduates, intern, and postgraduates), sex, age, and marital status were noted. For illustrative purposes, the domain scores were transformed to percentages. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 Software. Kruskal–Wallis, Mann–Whitney U tests, and Pearson correlation coefficient were employed for statistical analysis. Results: Maximum were final year MBBS (n=146) followed by interns (n=106) and 1st year postgraduate students (n=69). Majority were female (55.8%), aged 22–25 years (74.8%), and unmarried (91.9%). Mean percentage scores for knowledge and attitude were 51.44±13.35% and 65.54±31.05%. For immunization subdomain of knowledge, attitude, and practice, these were 58.45±16.15%, 72.20±32.59%, and 36.74±13.10%, respectively. Knowledge and practice scores showed a significant association with type of student. Attitude scores did not show a significant association with demographic profile of student. Maximum scores for all the domains were observed among postgraduates. Overall practice scores were much lower than knowledge and attitude. A significant correlationwas observed between knowledge, attitude, and practice scores. Conclusion: The study identifies wide gaps in KAP of medical students that indicate need for strategic interventions.
