The hypothesis here proposed is that, in primary fields of mass selection (F1) of sugarcane, herbicides exert a selective action when applied in the early post-emergence of seedlings (POST-i) and supplemented after their establishment phase (POST-l) even in sandy soils. To verify such hypothesis, the selectivity of herbicides was studied on seedlings of three sugarcane families, after their application both at early and late post-emergence in primary selection fields (F1). The field had a randomized blocks design, with five replications, and the subdivided plots scheme was used. Twelve herbicide treatments were allocated in the plots (27 m-2), whereas the sub-plots (9 m-2) contained three families of seedlings. Each sub-plot consisted of a transplanted row (0.5 x 1.50 m) with 12 individuals of the same family. Six treatments were employed, namely, T1: tebuthiuron (1200 g ha-1) post-i + ametryn (3000 g ha-1) post-l; T2: diuron (1404 g ha-1) + hexazinone (396 g ha-1) post-i + ametryn (3000 g ha-1) post-l; T3: sulfentrazone (800 g ha-1) post-i + ametryn (3000 g ha-1) post-l; T4: diuron (1404 g ha-1) + hexazinone (396 g ha-1) post-i + metribuzin (1920 g ha-1) post-l; T5: sulfentrazone (800 g ha-1) post-i + metribuzin (1920 g ha-1) post-l, and T6: weeded plot. The sugarcane families were: F400 (♀IAC086155 x ♂unknown), F43 (♀IACBIO264 × ♂IAC911099), and F14 (♀IACSP991305 × ♂GlagaH). We concluded that the herbicides tebuthiuron (1200 g ha-1), diuron (104 g ha-1) + hexazinone (396 g ha-1), or sulfentrazone (800 g ha-1), when applied in the early post-emergence and supplemented with ametryn (3000 g ha-1) or metribuzin (1920 g ha-1) in late post-emergence (60 days from planting) of the sugarcane families studied, were selective to the seedlings. That is, no toxicity symptoms with a potential to impede the final selection of seedlings occurred.

The purpose of the article is to refine the system of principles in teaching disciplines with methodological direction in conditions of higher pedagogic education digitalisation. The authors note that in the modern practice of teaching methodological disciplines, such laws can be distinguished that are not presented in the existing system of general ideological principles, principles of higher education and principles of teaching using digital support, and propose to supplement the existing list with the principles of operationalisation, interiorisation and integration. The principle of operationalisation of professional actions in teaching methodology in conditions of digital transformation of education provides for the need to include methodological materials course into the digital content where professional actions would be for students in the form of a sequence of elementary operations. The dedicated sequence of operations must meet the requirements of efficiency, mass, discreteness, clarity. The principle of consistent interiorisation of methodological skills consists in the implementation, using digital technologies, of a phased formation of an indicative basis for the professional actions of a future teacher, due to the strengthening of students’ independence in constructing an indicative basis for professional actions in the course study process. The principle of integration of in-class and digital methodological tasks implies a purposeful organisation of mutual influence between students’ in-class and online work. The article concludes with proposals on the structure, selection of the online course content with methodological direction; conditions for upholding the proposed principles are considered.

Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is a means to synthesize relevant and high quality studies related to a specific topic or research questions. In the Primary Selection stage of an SLR, the selection of studies is usually performed manually by reading title, abstract and keywords of each study. In the last years, the number of published scientific studies has grown increasing the effort to perform this sort of reviews. In this paper, we proposed strategies to detect non-papers and duplicated references in results exported by search engines, and strategies to rank the references in decreasing order of importance for an SLR, regarding the terms in the search string. These strategies are based on Information Retrieval techniques. We implemented the strategies and carried out an experimental evaluation of their applicability using two real datasets. As results, the strategy to detect non-papers presented 100% of precision and 50% of recall; the strategy to detect duplicates detected more duplicates than the manual inspection; and one of the strategies to rank relevant references presented 50% of precision and 80% of recall. Therefore, the results show that the proposed strategies can minimize the effort in the Primary Selection stage of an SLR.

The article deals with the formation of criteria for the primary selection of legal texts for the English-Ukrainian parallel corpus of legal texts. The author has developed a classification of legal texts on the basis of the style and text genres, taking into account the types of legal acts, and makes an attempt to combine legal and linguistic characteristics applicable to the classification of legal documents. The article proposes the structure of the metadata card for corpus texts (original and translation), which are tested on text samples. The need for metatext data and extra-linguistic information for working with corpus texts is substantiated in the article.

Today the conflict nature of digital transformation became apparent. However, very limited study has been carried out on this issue. The aim of this study is today a theoretical basis for further studies. The authors systematize theoretical and practical material and made a critical selection of relevant conceptual tools focused on analyzing the interrelation of risk-reflections and conflict management strategies. Using risk-reflective and conflict logical approaches, the authors came to the conclusion that digital transformation can be perceived by social actors as a risk, and as a reflection of this reaction, may ignite social conflicts. It was inferred that the destructive risk reflection can be presented as an unrealistic conflict, in which real object is replaced by a false one and demonstrates an inadequate choice of response to threats and risks. Thus, the development of tools for such reflections and interventions allows transforming the response to threats towards strengthening the constructive component, therefore preventing violent unrealistic conflicts owing to risks.

The purpose of the article is to determine the specifics of purchasing management in conditions of total digitalization. Based on the synthesis of concepts and research trends, activities in the management of pro-curement of material resources are identified, which contribute to the effective activities of business entities, digitalization priorities and effects in the procurement process. The article summarizes the advantages, ad-vantages and disadvantages of centralized, decentralized and mixed models of the organization of the pro-curement management system, taking into account the timing, identity of contracts, delegation of procurement functions, accuracy of order satisfaction, reduction of risks of bureaucratization and corruption. Vector zones of digital transformation of conditions and scope of procurement, intensity of climate change in the company, integration of intellectual, technological and efficient procurement process for the business as a whole are defined. It is emphasized that the system of digital procurement through machine training significantly trans-forms the procurement process, contributing to the prompt selection of the right type of competition, the iden-tification, definition and recognition of proven (law-abiding), customer-oriented suppliers, the identification of criteria for the optimal market price and the formation of conditions for effective purchase.
