The small punch (SP) test is one of the small specimen test techniques, and standardization of the SP test method for evaluating the mechanical properties of metallic materials is in progress. In this study, the impact transition temperature of reactor pressure vessel steels (RPV) in nuclear power plants was estimated using the draft standard SP test method. The SP fracture energy (ESP) and normalized SP fracture energy (ENSP) of the RPV steels were evaluated at various temperatures, and their transition curves were derived and compared to the transition curve in the Charpy V notch (CVN) test. The SP transition region appeared at a much lower temperature range than that of the CVN owing to the size and notch effect. Ductile brittle transition temperature (DBTT) in the SP transition curve showed a linear relationship with DBTT and T41J in the CVN transition curve. The ductile to brittle transition behaviors of SP specimens were analyzed using fractographs and compared with the transition curves in ESP and ENSP. ENSP started to decrease at the temperature at which the SP ductile to brittle transition behavior occurred, and this means that the ENSP transition curves were in good agreement with transition behavior in the SP test. However, the ESP transition curves did not match transition behavior. Using DBTT in the ENSP transition curve is appropriate to estimate the CVNDBTT and T41J.

Experiments have been carried out on the 3 MeV electron microscope in Toulouse. The low temperature straining holder has been previously described Images given by an image intensifier are recorded on magnetic tape.The microtensile niobium samples are cut in a plane with the two operative slip directions [111] and lying in the foil plane. The tensile axis is near [011].Our results concern:- The transition temperature of niobium near 220 K: at this temperature and below an increasing difference appears between the mobilities of the screw and edge portions of dislocations loops. Source operation and interactions between screw dislocations of different slip system have been recorded.

TEM imaging of frozen-hydrated lipid vesicles has been done by several groups Thermotrophic and lyotrophic polymorphism has been reported. By using image processing, computer simulation and tilt experiments, we tried to learn about the influence of freezing-stress and defocus artifacts on the lipid polymorphism and fine structure of the bilayer profile. We show integrated membrane proteins do modulate the bilayer structure and the morphology of the vesicles.Phase transitions of DMPC vesicles were visualized after freezing under equilibrium conditions at different temperatures in a controlled-environment vitrification system. Below the main phase transition temperature of 24°C (Fig. 1), vesicles show a facetted appearance due to the quasicrystalline areas. A gradual increase in temperature leads to melting processes with different morphology in the bilayer profile. Far above the phase transition temperature the bilayer profile is still present. In the band-pass-filtered images (Fig. 2) no significant change in the width of the bilayer profile is visible.

Detail investigation of equilibrium chemical reactions in WO3–H2O system using computer program FacktSage with the aim to establish influence of temperature and quantity of water on formation of compounds of H2WO4 and WO2(OH)2 as well as concomitant them compounds, evaporation products, decomposition and dissociation, that are contained in the program data base were carried out. Calculations in the temperature range from 100 to 3000 °С were carried out. The amount moles of water added to 1 mole of WO3 was varied from 0 to 27. It is found that the obtained data by the melting and evaporation temperatures of single-phase WO3 are in good agreement with the reference data and provide additionally detailed information on the composition of the gas phase. It was shown that under heating of 1 mole single-phase WO3 up to 3000 °С the predominant oxide that exist in gaseous phase is (WO3)2. Reactions of it formation from other oxides ((WO3)3 and (WO3)4) were proposed. It was established that compound H2WO4 is stable and it is decomposed on WO3 and H2O under 121 °C. Tungsten Oxide Hydrate WO2(OH)2 first appears under 400 °С and exists up to 3000 °С. Increasing quantity of Н2О in system leads to decreasing transition temperature of WO3 into both liquid and gaseous phases. It was established that adding to 1 mole WO3 26 mole H2O maximum amount (0,9044–0,9171 mole) WO2(OH)2 under temperatures 1400–1600 °С can be obtained, wherein the melting stage of WO3 is omitted. Obtained data also allowed to state that that from 121 till 400 °С WO3–Н2O the section in the О–W–H ternary system is partially quasi-binary because under these temperatures in the system only WO3 and Н2O are present. Under higher temperatures WO3–Н2O section becomes not quasi-binary since in the reaction products WO3 with Н2O except WO3 and Н2O, there are significant amounts of WO2(OH)2, (WO3)2, (WO3)3, (WO3)4 and a small amount of atoms and other compounds. This study included the fabrication of    compound (Tl2-xHgxBa2-ySryCa2Cu3O10+δ) in a manner solid state and under hydrostatic pressure ( 8 ton/cm2) and temperature annealing(850°C), and determine the effect of the laser on the structural and electrical properties elements in the compound, and various concentrations of x where (x= 0.1,0.2,0.3 ). Observed by testing the XRD The best ratio of compensation for x is 0.2 as the value of a = b = 5.3899 (A °), c = 36.21 (A °) show that the installation of four-wheel-based type and that the best temperature shift is TC= 142 K  .When you shine a CO2 laser on the models in order to recognize the effect of the laser on these models showed the study of X-ray diffraction of these samples when preparing models with different concentrations of the values ​​of x, the best ratio of compensation is 0.2 which showed an increase in the values ​​of the dimensions of the unit cell a=b = 5.3929 (A °), c = 36.238 (A°). And the best transition temperature after shedding laser is TC=144 K.

Using radiothermoluminescence (RTL), the molecular mobility features in the temperature range of 77-300 K were studied for the polypropylene (PP)/ethylene propylene diene elastomer SKEPT-4044 with NiO, Cu2O and Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) based on ABS-acrylonitrile butadiene or SCS-divinyl styrene matrices. It has been shown that the introduction of nanofillers in PP significantly affects the nature and temperature of γ- and β-relaxation processes, while the region of manifestation of the β-process noticeably shifts to the region of low temperatures. Composites with Cu2O NPs have a higher β-transition temperature Tβ than composites with other NPs. It was found that PP/SKEPT-4044 composites with Cu2O NPs with a dispersion of 11-15 nm and acrylonitrile butadiene thermoplastics have optimal frost resistance compared to other compositions.
