The world trend of increase in the senior citizen population has become increasingly more pronounced. Closer attention and greater effort in managing the associated issues are thus more pressing. Furthermore, all of us will turn into old age sooner or later. It is to the benefit of everyone to continuously examine the improvement in the welfare of the elderly. We have explored the smart clothing with silk prospect for the senior citizen. We have stressed comfort, safety, and convenience in our work. Some rooms have been reserved for further expansion to add on more appropriate functions and for elimination of the outdated. Helpful systems approaches with the combination of both "top-down" and "bottom-up" route have been used for the investigation. Biomimetics, i.e. helpful lessons or inspiration from Mother Nature is applied whenever appropriate to improve the potential of our smart clothing. Attractive features of modern silk including light weight, low thermal conductivity, good absorbency, low wrinkle, strong, bio-compatible and bio-degradable will be tailored into the smart clothing for better functions. More medical assistance issues including the potential of working as a second skin will also be explores. It is our hope that our total effort will help the elderly to live a better life physically, physiologically, and psychologically. There are many interactions between our body and the cloth we wear. Clothing with the proper intelligence will be more feasible to meet the challenge. We have explored the smart clothing with silk prospect for the senior citizen. Our approaches As we are becoming older in old ages, most of us will experience some physical and psychological deterioration that will affect our daily life. Some may become slower in responses. Others may have a fading memory. Some may have a physical issue of balancing themselves. Some may have hygiene issues such as unpleasant odor, incontinence. Some elderly may generate constant anxiety including worrying with or without causes. There may be insecure feeling towards many real or imaginary issues in life also.

Introduction. Lipids are a widespread group of biologically active substances in nature, making up the bulk of the organic substances of all living organisms. They accumulate in plants in seeds, as well as in fruits and perform a number of vital functions: they are the main components of cell membranes and the energy reserve for the body.Aim. Study of neutral lipids of sown oats (Avena sativa L.).Materials and methods. The objects of the study were fruits (grains) of oats of the sown variety "Tashkent 1," harvested in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Results and discussions. Neutral lipids of oat grains have been found to contain 13 fatty acids with a predominance of the sum of oleic, linolenic and linoleic acids. The total degree of unsaturation was almost 78%. Absorption bands characteristic of these substances were observed in the IR spectrum of MEGC.Conclusion. According to the results of the NL analysis, oat grains consisted of triacylglycerides and free LCDs, which were accompanied by hydrocarbons, phytosterols, triterpenoids and tocopherols.

The “Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19)” is caused by “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)”, a newly discovered member of the Coronaviridae family of viruses which is a highly communicable. There is no effective medical treatment till date for Coronavirus disease hence prevention is the best way to keep disease away. Rasayana proved to be highly efficacious and cost effective for the Prevention and Control of viral infections when vaccines and standard therapies are lacking. Rasayana Chikitsa is one of the eight branches of Ashtanga Ayurveda which helps to maintain healthy life style. Rasayana improves immunity and performs many vital functions of human body. Vyadhikshamatva that is immune mechanism of the body is involved in Prevention of the occurrence of a new disease and it also decreases the virulence and progression of an existing disease. In COVID-19 the Respiratory system mainly get affected which is evident from its symptoms like cold, cough and breathlessness. Here the drugs help in enhancing immune system and strengthening functions of Respiratory system can be useful. For this purpose, the Rasayana like Chyavanprasha, Agastya Haritaki, Pippali Rasayana, Guduchi, Yashtimadhu, Haridra, Ashwagandha, Tulsi are used. Rasayana working on Respiratory system are best for Prevention of Coronavirus and boosting immune system. Rasayana Chikitsa can be effective in the Prevention as well as reducing symptoms of COVID-19.

Abstract:: Despite the technological improvements of the last 40 years conditions such as refractory cardiogenic shock and cardiac arrest still present a very high mortality rate in the real-world clinical practice. In this light we have performed a review of the techniques, indications, contraindications and results of the so-called Veno-Arterial Extracorporeal Circulatory Membrane Oxygenation (VA-ECMO) in the adult population to evaluate the current results of this temporary cardio-pulmonary support as salvage and/or bridge therapy in patient suffering from refractory cardiogenic shock or cardio-circulatory arrest. The results are encouraging, especially in the setting of refractory cardiogenic shock and in-hospital cardiac arrest. Among a selected population the prompt institution of a VA-ECMO may radically change the prognosis by sustaining vital functions while looking for the leading cause or waiting for the reversal of the temporary cardio-respiratory negative condition. The future directions aim to standardized and shared protocols, miniaturization of the machines and possibly the institution of specialized “ECMO teams” for in and out-of-hospital institution of the tool.

BACKGROUND Wearable devices have been developed and implemented to improve data collection in remote health care and smart care. Wearable devices have the advantage of always being with individuals, enabling easy detection of their movements. In this study, we developed and implemented a smart-care system using smart clothing for persons with dementia and with hip fracture. We conducted a preliminary study to understand family caregivers’ and care receivers’ experiences of receiving a smart technology-assisted (STA) home-nursing care program. OBJECTIVE This paper reports the difficulties we encountered and strategies we developed during the feasibility phase of studies on the effectiveness of our STA home-nursing care program for persons with dementia and hip fracture. METHODS Our care model, a STA home-nursing care program for persons with dementia and those with hip fracture included a remote-monitoring system for elderly persons wearing smart clothing was used to facilitate family caregivers’ detection of elderly persons’ movements. These movements included getting up at night, staying in the bathroom for more than 30 minutes, not moving more than 2 hours during the day, leaving the house, and daily activities. Participants included 13 families with 5 patients with hip fracture and 7 with dementia. Research nurses documented the difficulties they encountered during the process. RESULTS Difficulties encountered in this smart-care study were categorized into problems setting up the smart-care environment, problems running the system, and problems with participant acceptance/adherence. These difficulties caused participants to drop out, the system to not function or delayed function, inability to collect data, extra costs of manpower, and financial burden. Strategies to deal with these problems are also reported. CONCLUSIONS During the implementation of smart care at home for persons with dementia or hip fracture, different aspects of difficulties were found and strategies were taken. The findings of this study can provide a reference for future implementation of similar smart-home devices.

AbstractThrough considerable effort in research and clinical studies, the immune system has been identified as a participant in the onset and progression of brain injury after ischaemic stroke. Due to the involvement of all types of immune cells, the roles of the immune system in stroke pathology and associated effects are complicated. Past research concentrated on the functions of monocytes and neutrophils in the pathogenesis of ischaemic stroke and tried to demonstrate the mechanisms of tissue injury and protection involving these immune cells. Within the past several years, an increasing number of studies have elucidated the vital functions of T cells in the innate and adaptive immune responses in both the acute and chronic phases of ischaemic stroke. Recently, the phenotypes of T cells with proinflammatory or anti-inflammatory function have been demonstrated in detail. T cells with distinctive phenotypes can also influence cerebral inflammation through various pathways, such as regulating the immune response, interacting with brain-resident immune cells and modulating neurogenesis and angiogenesis during different phases following stroke. In view of the limited treatment options available following stroke other than tissue plasminogen activator therapy, understanding the function of immune responses, especially T cell responses, in the post-stroke recovery period can provide a new therapeutic direction. Here, we discuss the different functions and temporal evolution of T cells with different phenotypes during the acute and chronic phases of ischaemic stroke. We suggest that modulating the balance between the proinflammatory and anti-inflammatory functions of T cells with distinct phenotypes may become a potential therapeutic approach that reduces the mortality and improves the functional outcomes and prognosis of patients suffering from ischaemic stroke.

Zika virus (ZIKV), without a vaccine or an effective treatment approved to date, has globally spread in the last century. The infection caused by ZIKV in humans has changed progressively from mild to subclinical in recent years, causing epidemics with greater infectivity, tropism towards new tissues and other related symptoms as a product of various emergent ZIKV–host cell interactions. However, it is still unknown why or how the RNA genome structure impacts those interactions in differential evolutionary origin strains. Moreover, the genomic comparison of ZIKV strains from the sequence-based phylogenetic analysis is well known, but differences from RNA structure comparisons have barely been studied. Thus, in order to understand the RNA genome variability of lineages of various geographic distributions better, 410 complete genomes in a phylogenomic scanning were used to study the conservation of structured RNAs. Our results show the contemporary landscape of conserved structured regions with unique conserved structured regions in clades or in lineages within circulating ZIKV strains. We propose these structures as candidates for further experimental validation to establish their potential role in vital functions of the viral cycle of ZIKV and their possible associations with the singularities of different outbreaks that lead to ZIKV populations to acquire nucleotide substitutions, which is evidence of the local structure genome differentiation.
