Abstract In recent years, MHPS achieved a NET M501J gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) efficiency in excess of 62% operating at 1,600°C, while maintaining NOx under 25ppm. Taking advantage of our gas turbine combustion design, development and operational experience, retrofits of earlier generation gas turbines have been successfully applied and will be described in this paper. One example of the latest J-Series technologies, a conventional pilot nozzle was changed to a premix type pilot nozzle for low emission. The technology was retrofitted to the existing F-Series gas turbines, which resulted in emission rates of lower than 9ppm NOx(15%O2) while maintaining the same Turbine Inlet Temperature (TIT: Average Gas Temperature at the exit of the transition piece). After performing retrofitting design, high pressure rig tests, the field test prior to commercial operation was conducted on January 2019. This paper describes the Ultra-Low NOx combustor design features, retrofit design, high pressure rig test and verification test results of the upgraded M501F gas turbine. In addition, it describes another upgrade of turbine to improve efficiency and of combustion control system to achieve low emissions. Furthermore it describes the trouble-free upgrade of seven (7) units, which was completed by utilizing MHPS integration capabilities, including handling all the design, construction and service work of the main equipment, plant and control systems.

Systems engineering focuses on design, development, and implementation of complex systems. Not only does the Industry 4.0 concept consist of various technical components that need to be properly set and interconnected, but it is also tied to various managerial aspects. Thus, systems engineering approach can be used for its successful deployment. Overemphasis of technological aspects of Industry 4.0 represents the main starting point of this chapter. Then, collocation analysis, word clusters identification, selection and exemplification of selected domain in the business management realm, and frequency analysis are used in order to develop a holistic framework of Industry 4.0. This framework comprises six levels – physical, activity, outcome, content, triggers, and context. Moreover, the information and control level is integrated. The new holistic framework helps to consider Industry 4.0 from the complex systems engineering perspective – design and deployment of a complex system with required parameters and functionality.

Completely soft and flexible robots offer to revolutionize fields ranging from search and rescue to endoscopic surgery. One of the outstanding challenges in this burgeoning field is the chicken-and-egg problem of body-brain design: Development of locomotion requires the preexistence of a locomotion-capable body, and development of a location-capable body requires the preexistence of a locomotive gait. This problem is compounded by the high degree of coupling between the material properties of a soft body (such as stiffness or damping coefficients) and the effectiveness of a gait. This article synthesizes four years of research into soft robotics, in particular describing three approaches to the co-discovery of soft robot morphology and control. In the first, muscle placement and firing patterns are coevolved for a fixed body shape with fixed material properties. In the second, the material properties of a simulated soft body coevolve alongside locomotive gaits, with body shape and muscle placement fixed. In the third, a developmental encoding is used to scalably grow elaborate soft body shapes from a small seed structure. Considerations of the simulation time and the challenges of physically implementing soft robots in the real world are discussed.

AbstractThis study aims to produce a product in the form of career guidance management model using the Edmodo application that fulfills five aspects, namely appearance, access, interaction, service material design, and control. The research approach uses the Research & Development (R&D), the research method through three development steps, namely the preliminary study stage, the design and development stage of the model, the product testing phase and publication. Product development refers to the ADDIE development model which includes the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation stages. The data collection method uses observation and interview. Expert tests and limited field tests were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques through the calculation of the mean and percentage and categorization. The development of the model is obtained by the principles of G.R.Terry management, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The results of this study are products with the name MBK-MAE consisting of a model charts and their descriptions, career guidance material for SMK, guidance counselors, student guides, and guidance for IT operators. The validity test result by material expert is 88%, media expert is 84% and prospective users are 83%. Based on the expert test and limited field test, it can be concluded that the product in the form of a career guidance management model using the Edmodo application is included in the good category and is suitable t be used.

This research is aimed at developing interactive learning media for class X student of Accounting Major at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta with basic competency materials Making Adjustment Journal Entries and also examines the feasibility of interactive learning media as well as investigate the improvement of student learning motivation after using the media. This research used Research and Development (R & D) models and adapted ADDIE development model, which include 5 phases, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The measurement of students learning motivation used questionnaire filled by 33 students of class X AK 1 as treatment group and 33 students of class X AK 2 as control group. The research results show that interactive learning media in Basic Accounting Subject declared as Strongly Feasible category with average scores of 4.5 by material expert, 4.47 by media expert, 4.35 by accounting teacher, and 4.29 by students. Based on student learning motivation analysis, the treatment group obtain an increase of 6% from 73% to 79% and control group obtain an increase of 2% from 74% to 76%. Keywords: Interactive Learning Media, Student Learning Motivation, ADDIE, Basic Accounting, Adjustment Journal Entries
