In order to avoid spontaneous combustion of coal, reduce cost and improve the effect of fire prevention and extinction, this essay brings about the technology and related device to prevent and control the spontaneous combustion of coal based on the properties of fire prevention and extinction of the liquid CO2 toward fire area, such as: asphyxiation oxygen, cooling down and inerting. The technical difficulties such as the safety packing, transportation and perfusion to the fire area underground of liquid CO2 are solved. The liquid CO2 is transported safely to the fire area underground and are infused to fire area in the form of liquid. The on site operation and test proved that the fire-fighting technology and device has the following advantages: high speed, simple operation, adjusted continuously, stable operation, and significant and reliable fire prevention effect. It accords with the actual application and has great practical value.

Spontaneous combustion of coal is a serious threat to the normal working of the mine and the safety of miners, the research to prevent spontaneous combustion of coal has a great significance. Technology based on the three-phase bubble theory, combined with characteristics of coal of 7312-2 caving face of a coal mine in Xuzhou, using laboratory studies to determination the fly ash , Wong and a variety of surfactant , then determining the formula of three-phase foam which is fit for a coal mine coal, it can restrain goal spontaneous combustion effectively and beneficial to safety production and environmental prevention.

On the basis of physical oxygen uptake, use the instrument to identify the spontaneous combustion of Yang quan coal, and combination the insulation oxide of coal as well as the TG-DSC experiment to analysis of low-temperature oxidation of coal, though the DSC curves, combined with the insulation oxide experimental to analysis the size of the heat. In the end, we can come to the conclusion about the law and the different temperature parameters of the low-temperature oxidation. At the same time, the temperature when a large number of heat released by coals oxidation were also known ,and laid a theoretical foundation to develop prevention and control measures for the spontaneous combustion of coal mines.

This study was conducted to know the effect of applying Peer Review Strategy on the students’ achievement in writing descriptive paragraph. It was conducted by using experimental research method. This research design was conducted pre-test, post test in experimental and control group. The population of this research was the eight (VIII) grade students of SMP IT IQRA’ Medan. The sample of this research was taken by lottery technique. They were in class VIII-1 by experimental group and the class VIII-2 by control group. The experimental group was taught by using Peer Review Strategy while the control group was given no treatment. The instrument used to collect the data was writing essay test. The data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The result showed that the value of t-observed was higher than the value of t-table. (3,55 > 2,05 (a = 0.05)) with the degree of freedom (df) = 28. It means that there was a significant effect of applying Peer Review Strategy on the students’ achievement in writing descriptive paragraph. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.

The aim of this study is to discover the effect of applying SQ3R method inreading comprehension. Experimental research design is used as the research method.This research took place at SMA Nasrani 2Medan. There were 2 classes chosen as thesample with 30 students in each class. The classes were divided into two groups namelyexperimental and control group. The experimental group was taught by using SQ3Rmethod and the control group was taught by using conventional method. The instrumentused to collect the data was a set of multiple choice tests, which divided as pre test andpost test. The result of the research was analyzed by using t-test formula. The resultshowed that t-test was higher than t-table (4,23>2,00) at the level of significant 0,05with degree of freedom (df) 58. It means that hypothesis alternative (Ha) is acceptedwhich shows that SQ3R method significantly improves the student’s readingcomprehension.
