In this paper, two new second-order voltage-mode universal filters are proposed. Both of the proposed filters use only two differential voltage current conveyors (DVCCs), four resistors and two grounded capacitors which are advantageous from integrated circuit technology point of view. They can simultaneously provide second-order low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, notch and all-pass responses. They offer orthogonal control of angular resonance frequency and quality factor. However, they have a single matching condition for only all-pass responses. A number of simulations based on SPICE program are accomplished in order to demonstrate the performance of both filters.

This paper presents some additional high input low output impedance analog networks realized using a recently introduced single Dual-X Current Conveyor with buffered output. The new circuits encompass several all-pass sections of first- and second-order. The voltage-mode proposals benefit from high input impedance and low output impedance. Nonideality and sensitivity analysis is also performed. The circuit performances are depicted through PSPICE simulations, which show good agreement with theory.

Stresses of a structure are determined with a first or a second order analysis. The choice of the method is guided by the potential influence of the structure’s deformation. In general, considering their low rigidity with regard to those of buildings, scaffolding and shoring structures quickly reach buckling failure. Imperfections, such as structural defects or residual stresses, generate significant second order effects which have to be taken into account. The main challenge is to define these imperfections and to include them appropriately in the calculations. The present study suggests a new approach to define all the structure’s imperfections as a unique imperfection, based on the shape of elastic critical buckling mode of the structure. This study proposes a method allowing to determine the equation of the elastic critical buckling mode from the eigenvectors of the second order analysis of the structure. Subsequently, a comparative study of bending moments of different structures calculated according to current Eurocode 3 or 9 methods or according to the new method is performed. The obtained results prove the performance of the proposed method.

A new voltage-mode biquad with four inputs and four outputs using only two differential difference current conveyors (DDCCs), two grounded capacitors, and two resistors is proposed. The proposed circuit can act as a multifunction voltage-mode filter with one or three inputs and four outputs and can perform simultaneous realization of voltage-mode notch, highpass, bandpass, and lowpass filter signals from the four output terminals, respectively, without any component choice conditions. On the other hand, it also can act as a universal voltage-mode filter with four inputs and a single output and can realize five generic voltage-mode filter signals from the same configuration without any component-matching conditions. Finally, to verify our architecture, we have designed this analog filter chip with TSMC 0.35 μm 2P4M CMOS technology. This chip operates to 1.125 MHz and consumes 30.95 mW. The chip area of the analog filter is about 0.822 mm2.

In this paper, we present a new approach to solving second order nonconvex perturbed sweeping process in finite dimensional setting. It consists in a reduction of the problem to a first order one without use of the standard methods of fixed point theory. The perturbation, that is the external force applied on the system is not necessary with bounded values.
