Abstract The study adopted an ex post facto design to investigate background variables as predictors of utilisation of Web 2.0 applications in counsellor education. The population included 28 counsellor educators in the Department of Guidance and Counselling of the sampled university. Background variables and the Web 2.0 Utilisation Questionnaire (BVW2.0UQ) was used to gather data, which were analysed using means, standard deviations and multiple regression analysis. Findings of the study indicated, among others, that the extent of utilisation of Web 2.0 applications in counsellor education was low, and that the joint influence of the background variables on the extent of utilisation of Web 2.0 applications in counsellor education was not statistically significant.

The purpose of this study is to determine the strength of the efficacy influences, which includes three dimensions: students’ involvement, teaching strategies, and classroom management on metacognition awareness among teachers that working in primary schools in the Island Zone of North Sabah. Using a quantitative approach, this study is based on an ‘ex post facto’ study design. The data were collected through a questionnaire instrument by using the "Teachers’ Sense Of Efficacy (TSES) and "Metacognitive Awareness Inventory for Teacher" (MAIT). Through the purposive sampling design, a total of 151 teachers that teaching at 14 primary schools in the island zone was involved in this study. Descriptive and inference statistics were used to analyze the data and to present the findings of the study. The data were analyzed by using Multiple Regression Analysis. The findings show that the level of teachers’ efficacy (M = 7.45, SD = .86) and teachers' metacognition awareness (M = 4.11, SD = .40) are at a high and positive level. The results of the multiple regression analysis showed that only one dimension of the constructs of the teachers’ efficacy: teaching strategies (β = .591, t = 5.655, p <.05) found to be able to contribute significant predictor value to teacher metacognition awareness and thus reject the null hypothesis. Research implications have also been discussed.

Organization will produce good employee performance if it is able to pay attention to the factors of providing workload. To reduce the workload that is too high there needs to be a human relationship that can provide lightening in completing workloads in the organization. The purpose of this study is to examine the performance of BKPSDM employees influenced by human relationships and workloads. This research is ex-post facto by using primary data. Population and samples in this study using non probability sampling techniques with a total of 52 respondents. The analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis. Research Questions

The study was carried out to determine the effect of gender and educational qualification on the administrative effectiveness of librarians in federal universities in South-South Nigeria. The study adopted the non-probability sampling technique together with the ex-post facto research design which implemented the purposive and accidental sampling technique in choosing the population. A total of two hundred and thirty-one (231) respondents were chosen from six federal university libraries which comprised one hundred and seven professional (107) librarians and one hundred and twenty-four (124) Para-professionals. Data were elicited through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics (independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. The research questions were answered and the hypotheses were tested at 0.05 levels of significance. Results show that there is a positive correlation between educational qualification and administrative effectiveness of librarians in the South-South universities of Nigeria. Secondly, a significant result was obtained for gender as a predictor of administrative effectiveness of librarians. The study, therefore, recommends that employers of librarians should allow them to improve themselves via acquiring postgraduate qualifications such as a master’s degree and PhD as this will go a long way to add value to them and improved their skills.

This research is conducted to obtain (1) the influence of discipline learning to student achievement, (2) the influence of students confidence to the student achievement, (3) the influence of discipline learning and students confidence collectively to the student achievement.This research is ex post facto research. The population in this reseach is IPS students at 11th  grade of MAN in Padang with the amount is 352 students. The total of samples are determined by using Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. From this pattern, it is obtained 187 students as the samples of the reseacrh. The techniques of collecting data that used in this research are questionnaire and documentation. The instrument of validity test uses product moment and for reliability test uses coefficient alpha formula. Uji prasyarat are conducted with normality test, hetokedastisity test, and multicolonierity test. The technique that is used  for analyzing data is multiple regression analysis. <p>ABSTRAK</p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh kompetensi profesional terhadap kinerja guru akuntansi SMK bisnis manajemen di Kabupaten Klaten, dan (2) Pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru akuntansi SMK bisnis manajemen di Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh guru akuntansi SMK bisnis manajemen di Kabupaten Klaten sejumlah 73 guru dari 15 sekolah. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebagai berikut. (1) Tidak ada pengaruh kompetensi profesional terhadap kinerja guru akunansi SMK bisnis manajemen di Kabupaten (β =0,643, sig = 0,522). (2) Ada pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kompetensi pedagogik, dan kompetensi profesional guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru SMK bisnis manajemen di Kabupaten Klaten (F = 33,584, sig = 0,000).</p><p> </p><p>ABSTRACT</p><p>This study aims at knowing: (1) The influence of proffesional competence on accounting teacher’s performance at vocation high school of business management; and (2) the influence of school leadership, pedagogical and professional competences of teacher’s on accounting teacher’s performance at vocational high school of bussines management in klaten district. This research was ex-post facto quantitative approach. The population of this research simultaneously as sample was all of accounting teachers in Klaten District which involved 73 teachers and 15 schools. The data were collected by questionnaires. Analyzing data referred to descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. (1) There is no influence of Professional Competence on accounting teacher’s performance at vocational high school of bussines management in Klaten district (t = 0.643, sig = 0.522). (2) There is an influence of school leadership, pedagogical and professional competences on accounting teacher’s performance at vocational high school of bussines management in Klaten district (F = 33.584, sig = 0.000).</p>

This research is conducted upon the emergence of many companies producing the same product of the same kind and function. It leads to the urgency of proper and well planned marketing strategy. This research aims to investigate how far the influence of branding, product quality, and price toward consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business. This research utilizes 5 likert scale questionnaire which is tested by using multiple regression analysis to reveal whether or not there is partial and simultaneous influence of branding, product quality, and price toward consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business. Sampling method is accidental sampling technique, in which sample of particular population is taken based on the accessibility and availability of the sample during the sampling process. Sample used is 100 samples among consumers or customers of Mang Endy Milkshake. The result shows that branding, product quality, and price influence consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business.

Seaweed-Kappaphycus-Euchema Cottonii and Denticulum species was first cultivated at Sabah side of Sebatik in 2009. By November 2014, sixty one Sabahan seaweed farmers cultivated 122 ha or 3,050 long lines. Thirty Sabahan seaweed farmers in Kampung Pendekar (3.2 m.t dried) and 31 in Burst Point (12.5 m.t dried) produced 16 metric tonnes of dried seaweed contributed 31% to Tawau’s total production (51 m.t). The remaining 69% were from farmers in Cowie Bay that separates Sebatik from municipality of Tawau. Indonesian in Desa Setabu, Sebatik started in 2008. However, the number of Indonesian seaweed farmers, their cultivated areas and production (as well as quality) in Sebatik increased many times higher and faster than the Sabah side of Sebatik. In 2009 more than 1,401 households in Kabupaten Nunukan (including Sebatik) cultivated over 700 ha and have produced 55,098.95 and 116, 73 m.t dried seaweed in 2010 and 2011 respectively. There is a divergence in productions from farming the sea off the same island under similar weather conditions. Which of the eight explanatory factors were affecting production of seaweeds in Sebatik? Using Cobb Douglas production function, Multiple Regression analysis was conducted on 100 samples (50 Sabahan and 50 Indonesian). Results; Variable significant at α = 0.05% are Experience in farming whereas Farm size; Quantity of propagules and Location — Dummy are the variables significant at α 0.01%. Not significant are variables Fuel; Age; Number of family members involved in farming and Education level.

AbstractInternet addiction has become a worrying phenomenon for Indonesian teenagers. This research was conducted to determine whether the psychological factors will influence internet addiction in adolescents. This research uses quantitative with multiple regression analysis method. The winning sample is 200 adolescents. The instrument collects data using a scale internet addiction scale that compiled by Griffiths (2005) and developed by Lemmens (2009), Parenting Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) developed by Buri (1991), Social Skill Inventory (SSI) developed by Riggio (1986), and A Rasch-Type Loneliness Scale compiled by De Jong Gierveld (2006).  The results showed that there were significant differences in the parenting style, social skills, and loneliness on the tendency of internet addiction in adolescents.AbstrakAdiksi Internet menjadi salah satu fenomena yang mengkhawatirkan untuk remaja Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor psikologis apakah yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap kecenderungan adiksi internet pada remaja. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 200 remaja dengan menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur sebagai berikut, alat ukur adiksi internet yang dikembangkan oleh Lemmens (2009), Parenting Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) yang dikembangkan oleh Buri (1991), Social Skill Inventory (SSI) yang dikembangkan oleh Riggio (1986), dan A Rasch-Type Loneliness Scale yang disusun oleh De Jong Gierveld (2006). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian ditemukan pengaruh signifikan gaya pengasuhan, keterampilan sosial, dan kesepian terhadap kecenderungan adiksi internet pada remaja.
