On the basis of the current French-Soviet cooperation in science and technology, the Astronomical Council of the U. S. S. R. Academy of Sciences and the Strasbourg Center signed in 1977 an agreement on setting up the Soviet Center of Astronomical Data as its filial branch. The Soviet Center was created on the basis of a computation center at the Zvenigorod station of the Astronomical Council of the U. S. S. R. Academy of Sciences, which had already had considerable experience of working with stellar catalogues. In 1979 the Center was equipped with a EC-1033 computer.

The paper presents a Scientometrics mapping of papers published inJournal of Computer Science and Technology, during 2012 to 2016 as reflected in Web of Science database. It attempts to analyze the growth and development of publications output of Journal of Computer Science and Technologyas reflected. Data for a total of 485 have been downloaded and analysed according to objectives. The study reveals thatThe year wise growth rate revel that highest no. papers published in 2015, No. of Papers: 106 (21.86%) Authorship pattern data reveals that most of the authors like to publish papers in collaborations and most preferred authorship pattern was four author i.e. no. publications for four authors were 125 (25.77 %). The Degree of Collaboration (DC) revel that DC is found highest in 0.95 Co-Authored Publication. The highly prolific authors and their publications revel that Zhang L, published highest numbers of papers (11 nos.), the geographical distribution contributions (International) is revel that Peoples R China is in the top with no. of publications is 371 (76.50%), it is found from institution-wise distribution of papers that highest contributed institutions was Chinese Academy of Sciences with 93 Publications (19.18%) is placed at 1st rank and the average of citations per year (2012-2016) were 205.

Yu. R. Sheliah-Sosonko, an outstanding Ukrainian scientist in the field of geobotany, phytocenology, floristry, phytogeography, phytosozology, ecology, a public figure, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of biological sciences, professor, honored worker of science and technology of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology and the N.G. Kholodny Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Geobotany of the N.G. Kholodny Institute of Botany of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine passed away at the age of 87, on December 14, 2019. The main areas of scientific research of Yu. R. Sheliah-Sosonko include the development of typology, the composition of cenopopulation, cenogenesis and protection of nemoral forests of the European part of the USSR. The name of Yuri Romanovych Sheliah-Sosonko is associated with the research into the theory of geobotany and classification of vegetation, zoning, mapping, species association, evolution of vegetation cover. He developed a theory of the formation of the cenopopulation structure of species, as well as the classification of species and phytocoenotypes. He put forward and grounded the idea of phytocenogenetic classification of vegetation, the foundations of the evolutionary-cenotic study of vegetation formations. Under the supervision of Yurii Romanovych, the world’s first "Green Book of Ukraine" was compiled and published, laying the foundation for the Convention on Biodiversity. He was the first to suggest a method of paradigmatic analysis of geobotanical knowledge. The results of thorough geobotanical and phytocenological studies are summarized in the monographs: "Common oak forests on the territory of Ukraine and their evolution" (1974), "Methodology of geobotany", "Green Book of the Ukrainian SSR" (1987), "Red Book of Ukraine. Plant world "/ Yu. R. Sheliah-Sosonko (editor-in-chief) (1996) and others. He is the author of over 500 scientific works, including 34 monographs. He supervised 8 doctors and 37 candidates of biological sciences, and the scientific geobotanical school he founded is recognized by the world scientific community. The scientists, teachers and students of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University express their condolences. This is a great loss for the whole botanical science of Ukraine, Europe and the world. Finally, it should be mentioned that as long as there are such scientists as Academician Yurii Romanovych Sheliah-Sosonko and his grateful students, Ukrainian science will never cease to thrive. The memory of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Yurii Romanovych Sheliah-Sosonko, an outstanding scientist-geobotanist, a public figure, a man of honour, will forever remain in the hearts of his relatives, friends, colleagues and students.

Our Department of Galactic astronomy and Cosmogony of the Astronomical Institude of Uzbek Academy of Sciences has rich photo meterials obtained over more than 100 years by two telescopes (Normal Astrograph with F= 3500 mm, D= 330 mm and Zeiss Double Astrograph with F= 3000 mm, D= 400 mm). The main objects studied are: 1Open and Globular star clusters,2Regions of the Milky Way and the Pulkovo Observatory program.3Comets and Asteroids4Planets and their Satellites. There are also astronomical data received in the framework of a number of International programmes. Now we are working out some research-complex programmes of these objects. We are ready to collaborate on these programmes.

Within the short span of twelve years since their rise to power in 1949, the Chinese Communists have completely revamped their educational system. Private institutions of higher learning have been abolished and the number of universities vastly reduced; in their place hundreds of technical institutes have been created, with an unprecedented increase in enrolment and graduates. The faculties of various universities and colleges have been amalgamated in an effort to train more and more scientific and technical personnel. New types of instruction, known as “specialty” (spetsial'nost) and “specialisation” (spetsializatsiia), have been introduced to accelerate the training of industrial experts. Emphasis on science and technology has completely replaced the traditional respect for the humanities; the highest learned organisation in Communist China today is the Academy of Sciences, and not the Academy of Letters (Hanlin Yuan) of Imperial China. A Twelve-Year Science Programme was adopted in 1956 with the avowed objective of producing 10,500 top scientists and some two million technicians by 1967, and towards this end a new University of Science and Technology was established in 1958.

R Scuti is an audio-visual installation that proposes the transposition of astronomical data into an exhibition environment, using star observation records from AAVSO database. The collected information, which corresponds to more than a century of observations, were digitally converted to sound patterns that materialize through cymatics on a water surface. This surface receives a light focus, which reflects the moving waves and creates luminous patterns on the room's ceiling. The present text acquaints the concept, creation details, and contextualization of R Scuti in the scenario of poetic data visualization, which took shape in this project from the interdisciplinary dialogue between art, science, and technology.
