The experiments were conducted at ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region, Umiam, Meghalaya, India to evaluate of some insecticides against major insect pests of brinjal and cabbage under field condition. All treatments viz. indoxacarb 14.5 SC (75 and 150 g a.i. ha-1), chlorfenapyr 10 SC (100 and 200 g a.i. ha-1), chlorpyrifos 20EC (200 and 400 g a.i. ha-1) and control (water spray) were applied thrice in brinjal and twice in cabbage at 15 days intervals. Shoot infestation in brinjal was counted from randomly selected five tagged plants from each replication before spray and on 7 and 14 days after application of insecticides. Fruits infestations were counted during harvesting only. In cabbage, larval population was counted from five randomly selected tagged plants from each replication on 1 day before and on 1, 3, 7, 14 days of each spray. Results revealed that the mean shoot infestation of brinjal was lowest in indoxacarb at double the recommended dose (4.82%) followed by indoxacarb at recommended dose (6.65%) with 80.19 and 72.66% reduction respectively over control check. The lowest brinjal fruit infestation (8.25%) also recorded at double the recommended dose of indoxacarb followed recommended dose (11.48%) of same insecticide. In cabbage, pooled of two years results revealed that indoxacarb @ 150 g a.i. ha-1 was very effective treatment with lowest number of larvae (0.98 larvae plant-1) followed by indoxacarb @ 75 g a.i. ha-1 (2.21 larvae plant-1) with higher marketable yield at both these treatments.

The present study was conducted at Research Farm of ICAR- Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna, Bihar during rabi 2020-21. Eight insecticides were evaluated against aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae in cauliflower and found that all insecticidal treatments were significantly superior over untreated control, in reducing the population of aphid however; significant differences existed among the various treatments. Flubendiamide20% WG @ 0.4gm/l was found most effective followed by lufenuron 5.4% EC @ 1ml/l and others showed intermediated effects in reduction of aphid population. The least effective treatments were neem oil and diafenthiuron in reducing the population of B. brassicae.

The examples of crankshaft disintegration in modern internal combustion engines are considered. The cases of ICE crankshaft failure connected with the presence of manufacturing defects in them are analyzed: neck surface strengthening failure or its absence, metallurgic defects in material microstructure, necks and their lubrication grooves rough machining are analyzed. To determine the reasons of crankshaft disintegrations there was used a developed research complex for monitoring a structural state and analysis of motor car parts material disintegration during operation.

AbstractThis chapter of Animating Unpredictable Effects studies how Hollywood became a producer of software and sponsor of R&D. Using archival research of publications and conference records, it charts the computer graphics research group ACM SIGGRAPH’s origins in the military-industrial-academic complex and notes the rise of a new research complex driven by media industries, with the Hollywood blockbuster playing a key role in driving investment. This chapter also studies how the economics of film industries were transformed by R&D using SEC financial filings from studios. This investigation of the economics of R&D helps explain the economic instability of the VFX industry, which has been a key topic of discussion since the closure of Rhythm and Hues and the rise of VFX worker movements.

Relevance and statement of a problem. Now processes of socialization of younger generation undergo profound changes. They are characterized by transformation of space-time characteristics – narrowing of the field purposeful, expansion of processes of spontaneous socialization. At the same time the methodological approaches and methods of a research aimed at the analysis of the static phenomena applied in pedagogics become insufficient for a research of chaotic processes. There is a need for search of methodology and methods of a research within which the analysis of processes of spontaneous socialization of modern children and teenagers is possible. Research search shows that the solution of this task is possible on the basis of nonclassical methodological approach. Research objective: identification of opportunities of nonclassical methodology for a research of processes of spontaneous socialization of the modern child. Research problems: representation of the methods in logic of nonclassical methodology aimed at the analysis of these processes. Object and subject of research: the situation of development of the child which is characterized by experiences concerning the relations and readiness for an exception of social interaction in various spheres of activity and immersion in the Internet environment. Subject domain of a research: complex of the relations which are the cornerstone of purposeful and spontaneous socialization of the teenager. Research methodology - nonclassical (anthropological) approach. Research materials. In the course of work on a problem the research methods based mainly on the individual and communicative practicians aimed at the analysis of experiences and communication of the child were developed. Results of a research. The qualitative methods based nonclassical approach will allow to understand not only experiences of the child, but also as negative trends under what conditions they lead to break in relations and to search of significant network contacts that is under what conditions processes of purposeful socialization are weakened collect in his social situation of development, extend borders of socialization spontaneous.
