<em>Water pollution is a change condition in a water reservoir such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater due to human activities. This pollution causes many aquatic organisms to die and causes various diseases. Based on these problems, a solution is needed to deal with water pollution. The solution was given in the manufacture of a simple water purifier that can be used at home, namely the Frufous water purifier system. The method used in this research was research and development (R &amp; D) with a level of difficulty at level 1, namely researching without testing the product. The product was researched and developed as an alternative water filter by applying the Frufous system (From Us For Us). Validation of this product was carried out internally in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The product had been repaired according to the judgment and suggestions of expert and practitioner opinions. The product design had been declared internally tested. The results of this research and product development showed products that are original, functional, complex, and authentic. The Frufous water purifier system was complex so that it could filter dirty water into clean and clear water, compared to being untreated/filtered. This research was expected to be used as an inspiration for research ideas to be applied at an advanced level of difficulty, which can be tested externally and applied en masse.</em>

Ultraviolet radiation (UVR) from all three waveband regions of the UV spectrum, UVA (320-400 nm), UVB (290-320 nm), and UVC (200-290 nm), can be emitted by some medical devices and consumer products. Sunlamps can expose the blood to a considerable amount of UVR, particularly UVA and/or UVB. The percent transmission of each waveband through the epidermis to the dermis, which contains blood, increases in the order of increasing wavelength: UVC (10%) < UVB (20%) < UVA (30%). To investigate the effects of UVR on white blood cells, we chose transmission electron microscopy to examine the ultrastructure changes in L5178Y-R murine lymphoma cells.

The alteration in membrane relationships seen at implantation include 1) interaction between cytotrophoblast cells to form syncytial trophoblast and addition to the syncytium by subsequent fusion of cytotrophoblast cells, 2) formation of a wide variety of functional complex relationships by trophoblast with uterine epithelial cells in the process of invasion of the endometrium, and 3) in the case of the rabbit, fusion of some uterine epithelial cells with the trophoblast.Formation of syncytium is apparently a membrane fusion phenomenon in which rapid confluence of cytoplasm often results in isolation of residual membrane within masses of syncytial trophoblast. Often the last areas of membrane to disappear are those including a desmosome where the cell membranes are apparently held apart from fusion.

Barrier coatings are used in applications including food packaging, dry goods, and consumer products to prevent transport of different compounds either through or into paper and paperboard substrates. These coatings are useful in packaging to contain active ingredients, such as fragrances, or to protect contents from detrimental substances, such as oxygen, water, grease, or other chemicals of concern. They also are used to prevent visual changes or mechanical degradation that might occur if the paper becomes saturated. The performance and underlying mechanism depends on the barrier coating type and, in particular, on whether the barrier coating is designed to prevent diffusive or capillary transport. Estimates on the basis of fundamental transport phenomena and data from a broad screening of different barrier materials can be used to understand the limits of various approaches to construct barrier coatings. These estimates also can be used to create basic design rules for general classes of barrier coatings.

System The process of counting and storing in a manual water reservoir analysis has a high percentage of error rate compared to an automated system. In a company industry, especially in the WWT (Waste Water Treatment) section, it has several reservoir tanks as stock which are still counted manually. The ultrasonic sensor is placed at the top of the WWT tank in a hanging position. Basically, to measure the volume in a tank only variable height is always changing. So by utilizing the function of the ultrasonic sensor and also the tube volume formula, the stored AIR volume can be monitored in real time based on IoT using the Blynk application. From the sensor, height data is obtained which then the formula is processed by Arduino Wemos and then information is sent to the MySQL database server via the WIFI network.

The study of heavy metal speciation in bottom sediments of the Vyshnevolotsky water reservoir is presented in this paper. Sequential selective procedure was used to determine the heavy metal speciation in bottom sediments and thermodynamic calculation — to determine ones in interstitial water. It has been shown that Mn are mainly presented in exchangeable and carbonate forms; for Fe, Zn, Pb и Co the forms are related to iron and manganese hydroxides is played an important role; and Cu and Ni are mainly associated with organic matter. In interstitial waters the main forms of heavy metal speciation are free ions for Zn, Ni, Co and Cd, carbonate complexes for Pb, fulvate complexes for Cu. Effects of particle size and organic matter content in sediments on distribution of mobile and potentially mobile forms of toxic elements have been revealed.
