The present paper shows that sport loads for student environment define the possibility of not only successful educational or scientific activities but also successful social activity. The paper’s authors see the sport’s social meaning in higher education institution as a function of carrying out of applied activity with correlation into the successful professional medium. The relevance of the paper is that doing sports in education institution is perceived as not only a part of pedagogical load by the subjects of general professional cycle but also as a mean of students’ socialization. The subject under study is students’ preparedness to realize the postulates of individual sports doing. The analysis of the results of students’ health and healthy life-style problems study has been presented in the article. The role of physical culture and of the department of physical culture in this process has been determined. The ways of university’s educational environments resources stirring up for this problem solution have been outlined. Still in high antiquity doctors and philosophers believed that it couldn’t be possible to be healthy without physical exercises. Many people try to fully protect themselves against physical activity. They think that the less physical activity the healthier they become. Many students try to make their physical activity less thereby breaking their health. In any ways they try to obtain health certificates in order not to attend physical culture lessons and practically in all cases they get moral support of parents and what is the worst of doctors.

The ancient Greek philosopher Plato called movement as “salutary part of medicine”, while writer and historian Plutarch – as “storehouse of life”. Do we always apply efforts in order this “storehouse” be full? Today in the age of scientific-technological progress large-scale utilization of manual labour has been practically disappeared and there has been opened the door for the so called “diseases of the century”. The analysis of the results of students’ health and healthy life-style problems study has been presented in the article. Covid-19 pandemic has led to major changes in day -to-day life. Ever since the start of pandemic, there has been a change in working conditions, reduction in physical activity and much increase in anxiety and stress due to disease itself. To deal with the physical and mental health needs of this changing times, it becomes important to maintain healthy life-style and a minimum level of physical activity. The physical activity has been shown to boost the immune system and body’s capacity to fight infections and keep oneself physically and mentally strong. It is helpful for the healthy cardiovascular function which is very important during current pandemic. Though routine exercise and outdoor activity may be restricted due to social distancing norms, still it is important to have modified form of physical activity like stretching, walking, doing household chores and yoga in current scenario. Early start of exercise from school physical education can go a long way to create healthy adults.

The “Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19)” is caused by “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)”, a newly discovered member of the Coronaviridae family of viruses which is a highly communicable. There is no effective medical treatment till date for Coronavirus disease hence prevention is the best way to keep disease away. Rasayana proved to be highly efficacious and cost effective for the Prevention and Control of viral infections when vaccines and standard therapies are lacking. Rasayana Chikitsa is one of the eight branches of Ashtanga Ayurveda which helps to maintain healthy life style. Rasayana improves immunity and performs many vital functions of human body. Vyadhikshamatva that is immune mechanism of the body is involved in Prevention of the occurrence of a new disease and it also decreases the virulence and progression of an existing disease. In COVID-19 the Respiratory system mainly get affected which is evident from its symptoms like cold, cough and breathlessness. Here the drugs help in enhancing immune system and strengthening functions of Respiratory system can be useful. For this purpose, the Rasayana like Chyavanprasha, Agastya Haritaki, Pippali Rasayana, Guduchi, Yashtimadhu, Haridra, Ashwagandha, Tulsi are used. Rasayana working on Respiratory system are best for Prevention of Coronavirus and boosting immune system. Rasayana Chikitsa can be effective in the Prevention as well as reducing symptoms of COVID-19.

Purpose: generalization of experience of higher educational establishments’ future specialists’ professional training, oriented on formation of students’ personalities’ physical culture. Material: we questioned students (n=50) and institute teachers (n=30). Results: it was found that for increase of future specialists’ professional fitness effectiveness it was important to consider orientation of educational process on formation of student personality’s physical culture. Besides, it was noticed that professional fitness of future specialists is greatly influenced by implementation of modern technologies of formation of students’ physical culture in educational-learning process. Physical education means, oriented on aesthetic are of great health related and recreation significance. Conclusions: educational process shall be oriented on support of active motor functioning, motivation for physical exercises’ and healthy life style practicing.

Purpose: This essay aims to signal up the detrimental effects of sedentary behaviours determined by extensive use of technology. Material: The paper is a survey of the most relevant data related to physical inactivity consequences with a specific reference to the Eastern Europe countries. Results. There is no doubt that children and young people will prefer the technology and its commodities, but they need to be encouraged to practice exercise, to control their posture and weight. Physical activity favorably influences on mental health and reduces the incidence and severity of diseases and pathological conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, type II diabetes, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and obesity. Conclusions. Promoting physical activity as a healthy life style component in schools and in universities targets the enhancement of vigour, resilience, employement and social outcomes for graduates and comunities.
