In order to make it possible to measure the clo value in various postures, we are studying the measurement method using the human body. Our previous researches showed that clo value measured with the human body is less than that measured with a “constant temperature control”-type thermal manikin. In our previous experiments, human body changes its skin temperature in response to the amount of clothing or changes in the temperature to maintain heat loss, while a “constant temperature control”-type thermal manikin changes its heat loss in response to the temperature or amount of clothing. Human body reaction is similar to “constant heat dissipation” -type thermal manikin. In order to improve the clo value measurement method using the human body, clo value of same clothing by thermal manikin which changed control method to “constant temperature” and “constant heat dissipation” were measured. Relational expressions of thermal insulation of clothes measured by different control methods were shown.

In view of the present that this defect of water heater shower valve of the water temperature does not direct the user to the water temperature and can't maintain a constant outlet water temperature for long time, innovating a new type of water temperature control device. The adjusting device used the system of single chip microcomputer STC89C52 as the core, real-time water temperature and hot and cold water temperature were collected by digital temperature sensor DS18B20, adjusted with PID control method, drive motor drive the angle of opening and closing of the blade in mechanism device, to change the water volume of the hot and cold water. the purpose of keeping water temperature gain on the users required temperature and keeping constant temperature, through data experiment shows that the adjustment system structure is simple, running accurate effective and adjusting the steady and fast.

Clothing and the enclosed air layers highly affect heat dissipation from the body and thus, are crucial factors when it comes to thermal comfort. The heat and moisture transfer is affected by the variation of the size and the shape of air gaps between the garment and the human body. In addition, the fabric and garment design properties can affect the amount of heat loss from different body parts. In this study, we investigated the effect of fabric properties (different raw materials and weave types) and the garment fit on the heat loss through the garment combinations (undershirt and shirt) for the different parts of the upper body (trunk, chest, and back) using a sweating thermal manikin. The undershirt fit and the raw material of the shirts showed strong effects on the dry thermal resistance of the garment combinations. Moreover, the undershirt properties affected the evaporative heat loss from garment combinations, and the magnitude of these effects varied over different body regions. Whilst the undershirt fit had a significant impact on the evaporative heat loss of the back region, the influence of the undershirt raw material was more important in the chest region. The findings of this study provide fundamental knowledge to improve the thermal comfort of garment combinations for office wear.

<p><em>Abstrak <strong>- </strong></em><strong>Transformator adalah peralatan listrik yang sangat vital dalam proses pembangkitan maupun transmisi energi listrik karena transformator dapat menaikkan atau menurunkan tegangan. Pada proses menaikkan dan menurunkan tegangan biasanya sering timbul panas akibat rugi – rugi tembaga pada inti besi dan kumparannya sehingga pada kondisi overload akan menimbulkan pemanasan yang berlebih dan dapat mempengaruhi kinerja transformator. Oleh karena itu dibuat sistem kontrol temperatur pada transformer yang dapat mengontrol temperatur di dalam transformator saat bekerja pada kondisi overload, sehigga transformatornya tidak terbakar. Dial thermometer digunakan sebagai alat yang mengontrol temperatur transformator pada sistem kontrol temperatur. Agar mendapatkan sistem kontrol yang optimal, maka setting temperatur pada dial thermometer di sesuaikan dengan temperatur maksimal tranformator dapat bekerja. Sehingga pada saat temperatur tertentu dial thermometer dapat memberikan sinyal untuk membunyikan alarm dan mengaktifkan kontrol kipas sehingga kipas dapat bekerja menurunkan temperatur transformator.<em></em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Kata kunci - </em></strong><em>transformator, rugi – rugi tembaga, temperatur, sistem kontrol, dial thermometer<strong>.</strong></em></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><em>Abstract <strong>- </strong></em><strong>A transformer is an electrical device that is vital in the generation and transmission of electrical energy because the transformer can raise (stepping up) or lower (stepping down) the voltage. In the process of raising and lowering the voltage is usually often caused heat loss of copper in iron core and coil so that the overload condition will cause excessive warming and can affect the performance of the transformer. Therefore, a temperature control system on the transformer can control the temperature inside the transformer while working under overload conditions, so the transformer is not burned. Dial thermometer is used as a device that controls the temperature of the transformer in the temperature control system. In order to obtain an optimal control system, the temperature setting on the dial thermometer adjusted to the maximum transformer temperature can work. So that when a certain temperature dial thermometer can provide a signal to sound the alarm and activate the fan control so that the fan can work down the transformer temperature.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong><em>Keywords -  </em></strong><em>transformator, loss of copper, themperature, control system, dial thermometer<strong></strong></em></p>

A reactor with constant-temperature and stepwise decreasing-temperature zones is developed, which can catalyze steam reforming of bio-oil derived organics and methane to produce hydrogen-rich gas with only trace CO in a wide temperature region.
