Open-pit truck technical operation determines mined bulk transportation effectiveness increasing equipment’s commercial operation duration based on a robust strategy of vehicle’s maintenance, early and high-quality diagnostics, upkeep and recovery. Developed mathematical model of BelAZ open-pit truck operation for various levels of organization of servicing replicates a Markov process in the system of technological automotive transport considering possibilities of vehicle states with time and steady-state condition. The performance of open-pit trucks was consistently evaluated and the model of the technological automotive transport system was synthesized. The validation analysis of the obtained model showed its suitability for optimization of open-pit truck performance. The calculated optimal controlling actions on the open-pit truck allow developing an algorithm and technique for dynamic adjustment of parameters of maintenance, diagnostics and repair of BELAZ open-pit trucks that will become the basis for a sustainable future of industrial transport technical operation.

The modeling results and industrial tests of a typical automatic control system (ACS) and the proposed invariant cascade ACS are presented. The advantages of structural-parametric optimization methods for creating high-quality control systems for heat-and-power processes have been substantiated. The following algorithm for forming a block diagram of a high-quality invariant cascade SAR is proposed. At the beginning, the structure of the optimal transfer function of the stabilizing regulator is determined as the product of the inverse transfer function of the leading section of the object by a given transfer function of the open system of the internal circuit in the form of an ideal integrating link with one calculated parameter of dynamic tuning, which allows optimally working out both internal disturbances and the task of the stabilizing regulator. Then, the parameters of the dynamic adjustment of the corrective regulator are calculated for optimal processing of the extreme external disturbance. Next, an equivalent external perturbation is isolated without its direct measurement using a complete model of the inertial section of the object. At the same time, the obtained difference between the main adjustable value and the model output is fed to the input of an equivalent external perturbation compensation device implemented in the form of a differentiator, which makes it possible to increase the accuracy and speed of the invariant SAR compared to the standard one. To ensure high quality control over the entire range of load changes, the parameters of the dynamic adjustment of the invariant SAR and the model of the inertial section are adjusted in the load function.

Drying chamber is a drying application for agriculture product to produce high quality and hygiene product. The purpose of this paper is to propose best configuration trays arrangement in drying chamber for better distribution of velocity and temperature. Therefore, five configurations of trays are analyzed to obtain the best performance of uniformity air flow distribution within drying chamber. CFD simulation studied the uniform air flow in the drying chamber in steady state condition. A validation is performed by comparing the data obtained from the literature review CFD simulation to ensure the methodology is correct. Then, the drying chamber with different trays arrangements are simulated using CFD simulations to obtain velocity and temperature distributions at nine plotted points on trays. From the results obtained, it concluded that design (A) and (D) are selected as the best designs for uniformity because there is less discrepancy for each point contributed the more uniformity of distribution.

As "the fifth generation of educational revolution", the State Council and Ministry of Education have deployed and built a general environment for education informatization in 10 years. Vocational education cultivates information-literate high-quality technical talents, which is bound to require a promotion on teachers' information-based teaching literacy. Taking Zhejiang province's as an example, push forward from 5 aspects of "building platform, focusing on techniques, encouraging seminar, implementing educational reform, more integration"; conduct spiral progression means of "match-seminar-study-practice"; in allusion to information-based teaching literacy's concept, technical operation, resource application, design implementation, literacy transmission, assessment promotion, have a research on practical informational technology's rational application and methods to promote teachers' information-based teaching literacy, accelerate vocational education concept's innovation and development, provide high-quality talents for industrial transformation and upgrading.

In present, the image of a company, its corporative identity became of a fundamental importance. An organization has to show transparency and correctness, in our time is not enough to perform only a high quality product, moreover, organization must prove it is also a good corporative “citizen”. There is no doubt that many of the actions of some major corporations have shown the worst side of commercial operation, whether this has been in the form of social or environmental operation or through manipulation conducting to major financial catastrophes that have harmed a lot at all levels of society. For this reason, there has been a growth in support for NGOs that have set their sights on raising awareness and stopping exploitation of any natural resources, using any and all means to further their special cause irrespective of the impacts on others in society, even the business community.

The continuous acceleration of urban construction and the quality of highway construction projects has received an extensive attention, predominantly on asphalt pavement construction. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a high-quality supervision, good management and technical operation as well as maintenance control mechanism in conjunction with the construction environment to ensure a success on road construction to be carried out smoothly and be able to achieve an advance level in the optimization goal of asphalt pavement construction management. This paper focuses on the technical points and management points of asphalt pavement construction, aiming to provide more intuitive data for the construction management department to improve the overall quality of asphalt pavement construction.

Difficulty in controlling textural properties of processed sweetpotato products is a major factor accounting for the small number of such products available at the retail level. Control of textural properties is essentia1 because a succeseful commercial operation must turn cut a consistently high quality product from a wide range of raw materials, encompassing just-harvested roots to roots which have been stored for up to 10 months. We have developed a process to control the firmess of sweetpotato producta. It involve vacuum infiltration of either acidulants or bases into peeled, sliced sweetpotatoes, followed by heat processing of the infiltrated strips. Using this process, loss of firmness caused by heat processing can be reduced from 85-95% of the initial firmness to 65-75% of the initial firmness. This process is effective because it decreases the rate of heat-mediated cleavage of pectic subestances.

Galactic swarm optimization (GSO) is a recently created metaheuristic which is inspired by the motion of galaxies and stars in the universe. This algorithm gives us the possibility of finding the global optimum with greater precision since it uses multiple exploration and exploitation cycles. In this paper we present a modification to galactic swarm optimization using type-1 (T1) and interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy systems for the dynamic adjustment of the c3 and c4 parameters in the algorithm. In addition, the modification is used for the optimization of the fuzzy controller of an autonomous mobile robot. First, the galactic swarm optimization is tested for fuzzy controller optimization. Second, the GSO algorithm with the dynamic adjustment of parameters using T1 fuzzy systems is used for the optimization of the fuzzy controller of an autonomous mobile robot. Finally, the GSO algorithm with the dynamic adjustment of parameters using the IT2 fuzzy systems is applied to the optimization of the fuzzy controller. In the proposed approaches, perturbation (noise) was added to the plant in order to find out if our approach behaves well under perturbation to the autonomous mobile robot plant; additionally, we consider our ability to compare the results obtained with the approaches when no perturbation is considered.
