With the development of computer technology and Internet technology, more and more energy saving monitoring and management platform systems have been established. The energy saving monitoring and management platform has incomparable advantages in automation and real-time performance compared with traditional manual management. After a long time of operation, the energy saving monitoring and management platform has accumulated a lot of data. Due to various reasons, there is a lack of data in the process of collecting energy consumption, which affects the overall operation effect of the system. Based on the operation of an energy saving monitoring and management platform in a university in north China, this paper analyzes the data of building power consumption accumulated in recent years. This paper selects the typical metering branch data, establishes the exponential smoothing model, predicts the daily power consumption and analyzes the prediction results compared with the actual value to verify the effect of the prediction model. At the same time, it also provides a reference for the data prediction of energy conservation supervision platform of other universities.

Commercial means of automatic control system of electricity metering, as is known, are installed on the input switchgear and measure the power consumption of all electrical consumers of this metering facility. Such data do not give a complete picture of electricity consumption on each floor of the metering facility, which in turn does not allow the implementation of energy saving measures. Also, these metering systems for electricity metering have a high cost. The article proposes a method of data processing and transmission to the server with their subsequent analysis of power consumption on each floor of the object under study using the ARDUINO microcontroller. Such an accounting system has a lower cost than an automatic control system of electricity metering industrial production. The article presents the scheme of implementation and types of current and voltage sensors. The topology of the measuring complex is also considered in the article. Such a topology can expand and keep not only the general account of a concrete floor, but also in the generality of each educational audience separately. Collecting such data on electricity consumption, it is possible to conduct a qualitative analysis of rational electricity consumption in the educational process, it means that for example in sufficient natural light artificial lighting in the classroom does not need to be used, or after laboratory tasks in a computer class, computers there is still some time. The introduction of energy-saving housing is performed due to the comparative characteristics of the power of gadgets, laboratory stands, etc. with the number of students in the group in accordance with the approved educational process. The algorithm of data processing, analysis of rational use of electric energy and comparative characteristics are implemented on the university server.

Turfgrass mowing is one of the most important operations concerning turfgrass maintenance. Over time, different mowing machines have been developed, such as reel mowers, rotary mowers, and flail mowers. Rotary mowers have become the most widespread mowers for their great versatility and easy maintenance. Modern rotary mowers can be equipped with battery-powered electric motors and precise settings, such as blade rpm. The aim of this trial was to evaluate the differences in power consumption of a gasoline-powered rotary mower and a battery-powered rotary mower. Each mower worked on two different turfgrass species (bermudagrass and tall fescue) fertilized with two different nitrogen rates (100 and 200 kg ha−1). The battery-powered mower was set at its lowest and highest blade rpm value, while the gasoline-powered mower was set at full throttle. From the data acquired, it was possible to see that the gasoline-powered mower had a much higher primary energy requirement, independent of the turf species. Moreover, comparing the electricity consumption of the battery-powered mower over time, it was possible to see that the power consumption varied according to the growth rate of both turf species. These results show that there is a partial waste of energy when using a gasoline-powered mower compared to a battery-powered mower.

Bacteria are distributed in various places in nature and in industries, examples include human intestine, sewage treatment, food production and even food poisoning. Thus, the separation of bacteria from various samples is an important technique for medical and industrial applications. In recent years, separation of bacteria was commonly performed by a colony count method. This method, however, takes long time of operation and cannot be applied to bacteria for which culture method has not been established.

Electricity information tracking systems are increasingly being adopted across China. Such systems can collect real-time power consumption data from users, and provide opportunities for artificial intelligence (AI) to help power companies and authorities make optimal demand-side management decisions. In this paper, we discuss power utilization improvement in Shandong Province, China with a deployed AI application - the Power Intelligent Decision Support (PIDS) platform. Based on improved short-term power consumption gap prediction, PIDS uses an optimal power adjustment plan which enables fine-grained Demand Response (DR) and Orderly Power Utilization (OPU) recommendations to ensure stable operation while minimizing power disruptions and improving fair treatment of participating companies. Deployed in August 2018, the platform is helping over 400 companies optimize their power consumption through DR while dynamically managing the OPU process for around 10,000 companies. Compared to the previous system, power outage under PIDS through planned shutdown has been reduced from 16% to 0.56%, resulting in significant gains in economic activities.

Gambling has been a part of humanity for a long time, and references to it have been found in some of the earliest dated records. Literature on the topic has been accumulating since ancient times. The advent of Internet technology along with its typical subsets provides a new approach to how gambling is conducted in postmodern times. Drawing on qualitative research and utilising a single case study strategy, this study examines online social gambling and real money gambling marketing communication practices as well as offers some insights into the development and implementation of effective marketing communication programmes. In contrast to existing studies, the paper, in part, proposes integrative and higher levels of marketing communication programmes between online social gambling and real money gambling environments.

The paper presents the evaluation of the implementation of innovative methods of energy savings in electric drive and power supply systems at mining enterprises. The evaluation involves mathematical simulation and instrumental monitoring of the defined indicators that allow obtaining a multiplier economic benefit through the appropriate approach to the implementation and subsequent exploitation of energy-saving technologies. For this purpose, the potential of energy savings in industry in general, and at mining enterprises in particular, is shown. Such indicators as power consumption in mining, the dynamics of power losses in public grids, specific power consumption for lighting and household needs, specific power consumption for lifting and supplying water, as well as for sewage treatment were evaluated. As an example, such measures as reactive power compensation, the introduction of frequency-controlled electric drive systems, the development and implementation of the systems for continuous monitoring of power quality indicators were considered pointwise (at some sites of enterprises). The mathematical simulation method was implemented using the MatLab software package. The instrumental monitoring was carried for 7 days with a ten-minute interval. As a result of the assessment of such measures, the total economic benefit approaching to 9.0 million rubles a year was obtained.
