Coal reserves suitable, in prospect, for underground mining by means of robot-based system of roof coal release are situated in Bachatskey, Yerunakovskey, Kemerovskey, Leninskey, Prokopyevsk-Kiselyevskey and Tom’-Usinskey geological-economic regions of Kuzbass, in the coal seams with the thickness of more than 5 meters and the depth of 600 meters and total about 3 billion tons.

Purpose. Improving the efficiency of leaching of metals from ore raw materials by justifying the parameters of underground mining and the introduction of integrated technology in combination with geotechnology, ensuring the rational use, protection of the subsurface and the environment during the development of reserves by combined geotechnological methods. Metology. The methods of generalization, analysis and evaluation of practical experience and scientific achievements in the field of geotechnology, theory and practice of explosive destruction of solid media, continuum mechanics, mathematical statistics, as well as research techniques of wave processes according to standard and new techniques of the leading experts of the world's advanced mining countries are described. Findings. The factors determining the leaching efficiency of metal ores, environmental and seismic safety are established and the parameters of the explosion are justified taking into account the size of an average linear piece of exploded ore mass, the area of an emanating surface and the seismic safety of protected objects (industrial buildings, residential buildings, the Ingul river underflow, Kropivnitsky, etc.). Originality. Recommended empirical dependence for the prediction of the oscillation speed on the reduced mass of charge per deceleration step in the explosive preparation of ore for underground leaching of metals for the field conditions of the form y = a ∙ b also the value of the permissible displacement rate of the soil at the base of the protected objects = 0.4 cm / s. Practical value. When non-conforming ores of deposits are involved in the production, their raw material base at operating mines can be increased 1.4–1.6 times. The paper presents results of detailed geological research of quartzite in the wider area of Smrčevice, southeastern of Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje. Based on the defined boundaries of surface distribution and research results, geological reserves of about 12 million tons have been determined in the wider area of Smrcevica. The quartzite reserves that have been so far determined in this area are at a low level of geological research. The paper contains an overview of the geological characteristics of the area, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of quartzite, and the mineral raw material potential of quartzite in the Smrčevice area according to the PERC standard. The results of the conducted research indicate that the general geological and technical-exploitation factors are relatively favorable and indicate a possible profitable exploitation of the deposit. Taking into account the significant raw material potential, and the possibility of expanding the existing raw material base, this area has special importance for the perspective development of quartzite exploitation and its use in the production of ferrosilicon and silico-metals.

The Strategy for the management and utilization of mineral resources of the Republic Srpska includes inevitably the mineral resource base as an essential element of material and social development, and it is one of the significant reliance forms on its own suorces in achieving economic development. In this sense, geological exploration, like an important activity in providing mineral resources for the development of the economy of the Republic Srpska, has not been given adequate attention since the 1990 and has not been systematically conducted at all. The practice of the surrounding countries, and also in the earlier period, in these regions was such that geological exploration were treated adequately with the importance of mineral resources and, accordingly, funds were provided for their financing by the state and also by users of mineral resources. Today, there are no systematic geological surveys in the Republic Srpska and no systematic sources for their financing. The geological research activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the former Yugoslavia, throughout the earlier period, was characterized by relatively good organization and coherence of the research program. Due to this, many remarkable results have been achieved, which justify the realized investments in many ways. The paper presents the basic characteristics of the mineral raw material base of the Republic Srpska, as then an analysis of inefficiency and stagnation in the research was done, and finally suggestions are given the necessary activities to improve the present situation.

The purpose of the article is to develop proposals for improving the technology for assessing the level of enterprise development. It has been found that assessment of the level of the enterprise development provides a vision of the actual state of its development and allows to develop the necessary measures to overcome its low level. It has been proved that the practical use of the proposed approach for calculating the integrated indicator of the development level allows to regularly monitor the state of enterprises and substantiate the organizational support for the development of the enterprises under study. It has been revealed that increasing competitiveness will contribute to the development of a new strategy for scientific and industrial innovative policy based on supporting the activities of research and development centers, technopolises, and technology parks. It has been determined that the prospective development of enterprises must necessarily provide for further improvement in the distribution of their productive forces and strengthening the integrated development and specialization of the economy of regions, where the main focus should be made on deepening the specialization of individual economic regions in the development of the industries that have the necessary conditions for creating the effective raw material base, bringing the level of development of some industries in economic regions to the extent that meets the needs of the regions in the respective types of products, and optimizing the enterprise size according to their types in the economic regions in accordance with the requirements of a market economy
