The realization of the principles of sustainable development in the Silesia Voivodeship assumes, among others, a low-emission economy and the implementation of renewable energy sources e.g. by increasing the use of solar energy for yield of heat and electricity. The article presents perspectives for solar energy obtaining and the potential of this renewable energy source in the region. It was pointed out, that due to the specificity of the place, the influence of factors limiting the availability of solar radiation such as: air pollutants emitted to the atmosphere, local episodes, weather anomalies, cannot be neglected. Fulfilling the priorities of sustainable development can significantly contribute to improving the quality of atmospheric air, and thus improve the availability of solar radiation in the Silesia Voivodeship.

Abstract After its establishment, the roof cadastre - solar cadastre I wish to introduce in this article will form a database, with the help of which we will be able to analyse solar radiation factors on the local level (street, house), and a map display will also be available. Through the implementation of the appropriate methods, we can establish roof/solar cadastres on the settlement/district/regional level and these can help to increase the rate of utilization of renewable energy sources.

Abstract: Pure and environmentally friendly energy is of significant interest these days. It is one of the key enablements in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), accelerating social progress, and raising the standard of living. This work seeks broad insights into the Indian renewable energy framework, policy, approach, and socio-economic challenges. These include grid-independent and specific activities such as 'Utility-Scale Power Generation, Potential Multiple Geographies in India' and the Government of India's current achievements in advancing renewable energy production. Although much progress and progress has been made in the last decade of alternative energy maturation and expansion, improvements can be sought to increase the use of solar energy for conventional energy sources in India. <p>Due to climate change and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the trend in the development of global energy is aimed at increasing the share of the introduction of environmentally friendly renewable energy sources. This contributes to ensuring sustainable heat and energy supply to the population and production in the zones of decentralized energy supply, which increases the energy security of the regions and the country as a whole. In addition, the introduction of renewable energy sources is seen as a key tool in adapting to climate change.</p><p>The report examines the climatic conditions of the territory of the Russian Federation in order to assess the prospects for the practical use of solar energy.</p><p>The basis of solar energy resources in a given point or region is the duration of the solar radiation and the amount of direct and total solar radiation entering the horizontal surface.</p><p>The research uses data from observations of the actinometric network of the Russian Federation. In areas where there are no observations of solar radiation, either indirect methods of calculation or access to open and accessible databases were used.</p><p>Based on the analysis of the complex of climatic characteristics selected for zoning, 10 radiation-homogeneous regions were identified on the territory of Russia, which were ranked according to the priority of the solar potential. The reliability of the boundaries of the selected regions was confirmed by comparing the spatial and temporal variability of the main radiation indicators. The selected regions can be divided into five groups: the most promising, promising, less promising, unpromising and unpromising.</p><p>The most promising regions are the regions south of 50N. The first region occupies the Primorsky Krai, the southern part of the Khabarovsk Region and the Amur Region, and the south-east of Transbaikalia. The second region is the southern part of the European territory of Russia.</p><p>The amount of total solar radiation entering the earth's surface for a year in these regions is 1330-1390 kWh/m<sup>2</sup>, which is the maximum for the territory of Russia. Both regions are characterized by a long duration of sunshine, especially for the first region (about 2400 hours per year). The high solar potential of these regions is indicated by the fact that in the period from April to September, the probability of a day favorable for the use of solar energy is 60%, in July it reaches 90%.</p><p>In less promising regions of Eastern Siberia, where there is a large influx of solar radiation in the winter and spring periods, it is advisable to use photovoltaic modules to generate electricity for autonomous consumers in areas of decentralized energy supply.</p>

In this paper, the author focuses on the fundamental hypothesis that the adoption of a concept of regional sustainable development and the use of renewable energy sources are preconditions to organising an acceptable regional tourism offering based on an eco-philosophy The renewable development of tourism regions is the basic framework for research regarding opportunities for introducing renewable energy sources such as hydro energy, wind power, solar energy, geothermal energy, and biomass energy. The purpose of this paper is to indicate the real opportunities that exist for substituting conventional energy sources with renewable ones and the role of renewables in regional development from economic, environmental and sociological viewpoints. It should also be noted that renewable energy sources have a strong regional importance and can contribute significantly to local employment.

The overall purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of financing renewable energy sources on the assessment of sustainable development in Poland’s provinces. There are also two detailed objectives: (1) define how Polish policies are being passed on to local authorities; (2) realize a Poland’s provinces ranking, taking into account the indicators of sustainable development, thanks to the taxonomic measure of development in the area of environmental order. This study deals with the taxonomic assessment of local sustainable development in the local administration units of Poland. To this end, the methods of linear ordering were applied for the assessment of the level of objects differentiation with the use of a closed set of statistical features. The presented analysis proved that the taxonomic distances between synthetic measures for particular provinces are considerable. The highest values of the integrated measure in 2018 were obtained by the following provinces: Podlaskie, Subcarpathian and Lubusz. It is noteworthy to point to the big changes in the ranking between 2018 and 2016. The cluster analysis showed some progress in achieving the goals of sustainable development. The group of provinces with an average level of sustainable development in 2018 included six provinces compared to two provinces in 2016. Removing one indicator from the integrated measure (the financing of renewable energy sources (RES)) led to a moderate increase in the integrated measure across all the provinces. This implies that, on average, the financing of renewable energy sources exerts increasingly smaller impacts on the level of sustainable development in Poland.

The article is aimed at developing strategic directions and introducing regulatory measures for the formation of Ukraine’s energy policy on the principles of energy saving and the development of renewable energy industry. On the basis of scientific works, the main organizational-economic vectors of energy industry sector development are systematized, which are associated with the formation of a favorable socio-political climate regarding the priority of using renewable energy sources in the fuel and energy complex; development of effective methods of both the State-based and the market-based regulation by the world community; coordination of the strategy of sustainable development of the world economy. It is determined that the energy saving policy should be based on a flexible combination of the State-based regulation and the market environment for the formation of the most acceptable stimulation mechanisms in the specific economic and political situations, which allows for the greatest economic benefit. It has been found out that the implementation of energy saving processes is impossible without the mass use of renewable energy carriers, which are a universal resource for processing to the right types of energy, are marked by energy independence related to obtaining economic benefits and contribute to the creation of an ecological friendly environment. In the perspective, the energy saving processes, the transition of the national economy to wide implementation in the production of high-tech technologies and the use of renewable energy sources should become the determining factors of Ukraine’s energy strategy.

The article aims to study current trends in the use of solar energy in Ukraine and the world as one of the main directions of decarbonization of the national economy. The authors systematize the prospects, advantages and disadvantages of the development of renewable energy sources. They conducted a comparative analysis of the "efficiency" of solar energy in some countries and Ukraine. The authors determined that the leading position in terms of the share of energy consumed from renewable sources is occupied by countries with developed economies due to the availability of effective motivational mechanisms. From the experience of EU countries, the authors concluded that renewable energy sources form a prerequisite for obtaining additional socio-economic and environmental effects. In the presence of favorable market conditions, renewable energy sources can increase the level of energy security in the country and its energy independence. The article analyzes the legislation of Ukraine on stimulating the development of alternative energy. The authors proposed two opposed ways of further developing solar energy in Ukraine. In particular, the country can implement methods of using alternative energy, which developed countries have successfully implemented. Another area involves increasing research and innovation in implementing, using, maintaining, and utilizing energy-generating devices from alternative energy sources. Despite the polarity of the proposed directions for further development of renewable energy, in both cases, the state policy on attracting investment and promoting the use of energy from alternative energy sources is crucial. In addition, the authors noted the benefits for society from the development and implementation of alternative energy sources. The scaling up and promotion of energy production technologies from alternative sources can reduce carbon emissions, which has been an urgent problem globally.
