A correlational study using the Mach IV and FIRO-B questionnaires examined the attitudes of 120 postgraduate and undergraduate students, the majority of whom had significant work experience. A curvilinear relationship observed between the FIRO-B and Mach IV scales calls into question an aspect of Will Schutz's prescription for interpersonal compatibility.

In an ever-changing and increasingly competitive environment, educational institutions are continually looking at methods to improve their teaching and attract students to their courses. Students likewise are becoming more selective when choosing an institution in which to study and are more focused on the longer-term employability offered by various courses. This paper looks at this changing environment from both the industry and education perspectives, and examines one exercise, an information feedback method, which is attempting to link education closer to the world of work, by providing students with the relevant transferable skills. The empirical research conducted among the students on completion of their industrial work experience gave very positive results, with students feeling that their interpersonal skills had been greatly enhanced and that creative teaching methods such as these provided them with a competitive advantage when entering the job market. In addition to satisfying students' requirements, the research results also show that exercises of this type more fully meet the needs of the concept of deep learning', where students are given a more participatory part in their educational process. We conclude that future educational curricula should include an increasing number of activity based method by providing a better balance between the theoretical and practical elements of education and industry Keywords: Quality Feedback, Activity method, Acquisitive skills, Creative teaching

SMK siap melakukan praktik kerja industri. Kata kunci: kesiapan, praktik kerja industri, program studi keahlian teknik bangunanTHE READINESS IN IMPLEMENTING THE INDUSTRIAL WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM OF THE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT IN MAKASSAR CITY Abstract:This study was aimed to describe the readiness of the vocational high school students, the schools and the industries to implement the industrial work experience program. This study belongs to a survey method. The population consisted of all teachers supervising the industrial work experience program and principals, all instructors in industries, and all grade XI students in the civil engineering program in Makassar City joining the industrial work experience program. The sample was drawn using the proportional stratified sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaires, observations, and documentation, while the data were analyzed descriptively. The findings showed that the students were ready to implement the industrial work experience program. This was supported by the students’ knowledge level, the socialization done by the schools, and the students’ good basic skill ability. Graduate training is one of the core courses offered in all polytechnics systems in Nigeria, each polytechnic gives orientation programmes and deploys students for industrial training once a year. These processes of pen on paper method throw serious challenges because of time authorization and time frame. Placement of undergraduate students looking for relevant Industrial Training (IT) attachment is becoming worrisome. This research tends to provide a web based solution called Digital Collaborative Framework (DCF) for Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) and sustainability in Federal Polytechnic Offa, Nigeria. This is to bridge the gap between educational institutions and the industries subject to training and re-training perspectives. The stakeholders can easily turn DCF into e-administrative tools, then allow students to get industrial placement relevant to their field of studies. The research proposed to develop a productive web application using Codeigniter Php framework. This research will serve as a cloud database to students, staff and other stakeholders and create access to examine, monitor and measure students’ performance at the end of the (SIWES) scheme.

Based on BPS in 2019, the highest middle class unemployment force is for SMK graduates, which is 11.24% of the total 7 million people. Based on this, it can be seen that the purpose and function of this vocational high school is not yet well underway, because with a ratio of 51% of Vocational High Schools and 49% of the total number of students absorbed by the industrial world to SMK graduates, only 35% while high school graduates 65%. This study aims to find a correlation between industry work practice experience on work readiness research was an ex post facto study. The study population consisted of TKR students who were carrying out industrial work practices in the official workshop of Indomobil Nissan Datsun in East Java in 2019. Data collection techniques were in the form of questionnaires for industrial work experience experience variables (X₁), work interest (X₂) and self-confidence (X₃), and for the work readiness variable there are three domains, cognitive and psychomotor domains, data collection in the form of tests, and affective domain variables in the form of observation. Data analysis of this study using multiple regression and assisted using SPSS for Windows. The results of this study are expected to There is a positive correlation between apprenticeship experience on work readiness (sig. Cognitive domain value of 0.001; sig. Affective domain value of 0.031; and psychomotor domain sig value of 0.004) in TKR students who are implementing apprenticeship in Indomobil's official workshop Nissan Datsun in East Java in 2019.
