Interaction and wear between wheel and rail become increasingly serious with the increase in elevator speed and load. Uneven roller surface, eccentricity of rollers, and the looseness of rail brackets result in serious vibration problems of high-speed and super-high-speed elevators. Therefore, the forced vibration differential equation representing elevator guide rails is established based on Bernoulli–Euler theory, and the vibration equation of the elevator guide shoes and the car is constructed using the Darren Bell principle. Then, the coupled vibration model of guide rail, guide shoes, and car can be obtained using the relationship of force and relative displacement among these components. The roller–rail parameters are introduced into the established coupled vibration model using the model equivalent method. Then, the influence of roller–rail parameters on the horizontal vibration of super-high-speed elevator cars is investigated. Roller eccentricity and the vibration acceleration of the car present a linear correlation, with the amplitude of the car vibration acceleration increasing with the eccentricity of the roller. A nonlinear relationship exists between the surface roughness of the roller and the vibration acceleration of the car. Increased continuous loosening of the guide rail results in severe vibration of the car at the loose position of the support.

Firstly, synchronous field measurements were carried out for the road roughness of the left and right wheels to obtain the roughness profile using a high speed laser roadway testing vehicle. Secondly, programming idea of multi-girder vehicle-bridge coupled vibration analysis module was presented briefly. Finally, a three-axle heavy truck crossing a rigid-frame arch bridge was taken as an example, detailed comparing and analyzing was carried out for the influence on the dynamic responses and spectrum characteristics of the vehicle-bridge system from three excitation cases which include using measured road roughness corresponding respectively to left and right wheels, using measured road roughness of left wheels and right wheels simultaneously. The analysis shows that when the differences in road roughness between left and right wheels are significant, the responses computed with inconsistent excitation is smaller than that with both of the latter two excitation cases, and there are some differences between the vertical contact forces of wheels and the spectrum characteristics of the vehicle-bridge system.

In present society, port container transportation is a basic need for the costal country. The quayside container crane plays a vital role in port transportation field. Taking 80t quayside container crane as the subject, the three-dimensional model of crane steel structure with plates was established;the element analysis by means of Workbench and multi-measuring points stress test of quayside container crane steel structure was carried out. The simulationresults werecompared with test results to prove the correctness of the model. On the basis, the strength, rigidity and fatigue property of the crane was analyzed. Finally, some design and manufacture suggestions about craneswere given.

According to the quayside container crane, the pitch angle of the front crossbeam only can be used to classify the states of the whole crane into operating and non-operating. The Vibration Carpet Value (VCV)is presented in this paper. By means of VCV, the motor states including working and non-working can be correctly classified. Based on the classified result, by the methodology of Wavelet Packet Quantization Analysis Technique based on EMD, the real-time monitoring and evaluation of the motor condition are more correct and effective.

As to the problem that the assembly cycle and costs of quayside container crane always exceeds 40% of the entire production cycle and costs, improving the assembly efficiency becomes an important link to enhance the competence of port machinery manufacturing enterprises. In the product assembling cycle, virtual assembly can help to improve assembly quality and reduce the cost. Based on the physical structure of 45t quayside container crane, 3D components model were developed, the assembly hierarchy and modeling process were provided. The simulation analysis of assembly sequence was taken based on the CATIA DMU platform and virtual assembly animation was generated. The assembly interference detection results were analyzed to verify the part assembling ability, the whole disassembly and assembly process was displayed, which can help the assembly workers making visual analysis of fitting operation rationality.
