Abstract. This study is based on the experience of a coordinated interdisciplinary project around the content of acrosport involving three subjects (individual physical activities; competitive and collaborative physical activities; artistic-expressive physical activities) that form a part of the Physical Education module of the Primary Education Teaching Degree at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. There were two objectives: i) To identify significant differences in the grades obtained by the students in the three integrated subjects that comprised the project. ii) To analyze the evaluation and opinions of the students regarding the value of the subjects, the individual work and the acquisition of transversal competences. The study group was made up of 66 students with an average age of 22.9 years. There were 34 men and 32 women. All the participants were studying the Physical Education module of the Primary Education Degree at the Zaragoza University Faculty of Education. The teachers involved with the module designed a rubric to assess the acrobatic gymnastics project. To understand students’ opinions regarding the project, a questionnaire was designed. The results of the grades given to the students by the teachers showed significant differences in the three subjects. The results of the evaluations given by the students were lower for the subject of artistic-expressive physical activities. The students gave very high scores for the evaluation of individual work and the acquisition of transversal competences.

Led by theoretical basis that physical development of children represents the basis of their whole development, and that “fine motor skills” are determined by the development of its large motorics, the authors point to the significance of the content and structure of physical education programme in preschool institutions and younger age school classes. It is evident that the effects of cultivating of children development during preschool period can be seen in younger primary school classes. The goal of this research was to determine if and how much the different organization of preparatory part of physical education lesson for younger school children, determines the differences in the development of their motor abilities. By the use of experimental method, the effects of prolonged preparatory part of a lesson in younger school classes. This part was realized through complex of exercises which were supposed to have influence on transformation of motor abilities in relation to the structure with standard duration of certain parts of a lesson. It is determined that certain increase in body movement of students during physical activity can significantly contribute to better development of motor abilities. These abilities determine correct physical development and strengthening of health, which determines general aim of physical education.

Introduction: The presented work is an attempt at diagnosing how much the restrictions connected with the COVID-19 pandemic have changed the lifestyle of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Health (the University of Physical Education in Warsaw, the Branch in Biała Podlaska) and which inconveniences hindering normal studying are the most painful for them. Material and methods: The study included students of the aforementioned Faculty participating in classes dedicated to decision-making techniques as a part of subjects connected with the theory of organization and management. After those classes they worked out at home their answers referring to issues occurring within the following techniques: 1) the Daily Time Budget, 2) the Brainstorming, 3) the Fishbone Diagram, 4) the Borda-Kendall Method. The results were analysed with the “Statistica” computing package (13.3 version). The significance of intergroup differences (between students of different fields and men and women) was analysed with the χ². Results: It has been found out that there was a significant increase in the time devoted to self-study, watching the Internet and TV, homework. There were no classes in university premises as well as a decrease in social contacts. Among the factors that made studying more difficult, the lack of practical classes was ranked first, Internet problems second, and additional household chores came third. Conclusions: What turned out the most significant among inconveniences of online studies during the pandemic was limitation – or just lack – of practical classes, what is a problem requiring considerations and a systemic solution.

The basis of teaching and educating students youth is the learning process, which should be organized so that it was quite difficult and interesting, but not overload the young organism. Today, in the conditions of transfer of physical education classes in some higher education institutions to the optional form of classes without significant levers of control and assessment of student‟s skills and abilities, the issue of students' interest in physical activity in universities is becoming increasingly important. According to the results of our survey, rating types of physical activity for modern students were established. The received list testifies to need of adjustment of the maintenance of educational programs and plans on a subject of physical education. The top five physical activities among students included stretching, Pilates, gymnastics and acrobatics, swimming and sports games. The study involved 124 students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, who studied in 1-3 courses of the university. 3 experimental and 3 control groups were formed (one in each course). The pedagogical experiment consisted in filling the content of physical education classes with moving games, in which students had to apply their acquired knowledge of foreign languages (English), implement and test in practice non-standard methods of learning and improving a foreign language. The results of our pedagogical experiment show that integrated classes on physical education and learning foreign languages with the improvement of practical skills of their application increase the interest of students of philology to physical activity.
