This study estimated the induced effects of LNG, mega PV (photovoltaic), small PV, onshore wind and offshore wind power, which will be used as major power sources under the Korea’s energy transition policy. The 2015 Input–Output Statistics of Bank of Korea were used to reflect Korea’s economic structure. The MCI (manufacture, construction and installation) and O&M (operation and maintenance) of each power source would have different effects, so in the analysis the MCI and O&M of each power source were distinguished. According to estimation results, the induced-effect coefficients of the MCI are greater than those of the O&M in every power source. The induced production effect coefficient of the MCI is decreased in the order of mega PV > small PV > LNG power > offshore wind > onshore wind. The induced production effect coefficient of the O&M is decreased in the order of mega PV > small PV > onshore wind > offshore wind > LNG thermal. The induced employment coefficient of the MCI is decreased in the order of LNG thermal > mega PV > small PV > onshore wind > offshore wind. PV power and wind power have bigger induced effects and bring economic effects in Korean economy. The carbon neutrality and energy transition policies implemented by Korea have a certain level of induced effects and offset the burden of transition costs even if existing power sources are replaced with environmentally friendly power sources.

Wind power is an important direction of new energy, which has no pollution, no consuming fossil fuels, and no producing waste, which is widely used at this stage of clean energy. The small stand alone wind power has been paid more and more attention due to its low cost, flexible installation, strong adaptability. This paper introduces the mechanical and electrical structure, which are used in KW level stand alone mode wind turbine automatically track and yaw system. The motion rules and control strategies of the tracking and yaw system are discussed and then the control program flow is provided. The PIC16F873 chip is used as controller for this part in this system. It can fully meet the design requirements, which will reduce costs and increase the system's control ability. This system can automatically track and yaw, according to the wind direction and wind power.

The micro wind power generation system is used to generate the power at low cost. In this paper, generator fed SEPIC, Z source inverter based systems are presented. The unique feature of Z source inverter is shoot-through duty cycle control by which any desired output voltage even greater than input line voltage is possible. Both buck-boost capabilities in single stage conversion are possible. This is not possible in conventional inverters. Also conversion losses are reduced in Z-source inverter due to single stage conversion which increases the output voltage of the system. Keywords: micro-wind power generation system, Single-Ended Primary Inductor converter, Z source inverter.

According to the statistics data and planning material from the authority, the power source structure of China is analyzed and the clean power prospect is forecasted, which aim to explore occurring to CO2emissions reduction in the power industry. Based on The national greenhouse gas list guide published by Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 2006, the trend of clean energy reduction CO2is predicted. In recent years, the clean energy power is developing quickly, while the share of thermal power gradually declines. By the end of 2010, the percent of thermal power in the total installed capacity is 73.44%, while the hydropower, and wind power and nuclear power accounts for 26.53%. The contribution of thermal power to generated energy is 80.76%, while the clean power is 19.22%. The capacity of thermal power unit with above 300 MW is predominate, accounting for 80%. In 2020, the installed capacity of hydroelectric power, wind power and nuclear power will reach 402 million kW, 150 million kW and 70 million kW, respectively. The corresponding annual energy production of three kinds of clean energy can reach 1.75 trillion kW•h, 314.55 billion kW•h, and 554.68 billion kW•h, which can reduce CO2emissions 1534, 276, 486 million tons, respectively. It is estimated that a total of 2.296 billion tons CO2emissions will be reduced in 2020.

For enhancing low voltage ride though (LVRT) capability, this paper proposes a new protection scheme of series dynamic breaking resistor (SDBR) connected to the grid-side inverter (GSI) of directly driven permanent magnet synchronous generator (D-PMSG) wind power system, which has a lot of advantages such as possessing low cost, simple structure and high reliability. The structure, switching control strategy and matched resistance of SDBR are researched. The proposed scheme was then applied to uplift GSI voltage during a fault, maintain active power delivered to grid, inhibit DC-link overvoltage and GSI overcurrent. The simulation analysis shows that the SDBR can substantially improve the LVRT capacity of D-PMSG wind power system in PSCAD/EMTDC.
