This research is based on the facts: first that, Boyolali is one of the regions which implement intensively many kinds of program in solving the poverty which gets the finance from APBD, central government and international institutions, eventhough the proportion of the poor society increases significantly. The proportion of poor society increases 20,8% in 2002 becomes 38,26% in 2006. Second, seen from the regional development indicator, it is shown that between one region and the others has various levels of the varieties of development. The objectives of this research are: first, the understanding of the distribution and of the poverty level in this region. Second, the understanding of the relationship between distribution of poverty level and the regional development level. Third, the understanding of the factors which influence the regional development. The method used in this research is secondary data analysis. The analysis unit of this research is village. The data resources are taken from the report of the identification result of poor families and the primary data is taken from BAPPEDA Boyolali. The primary data is a number of poor families, the regional scope and the use of farmland, the long street to account the regional accessibilities and the number and the distribution of social and economical facility in each village. The result is presented on the map with the analysis unit of the village. The represented map are the distribution level of poverty per village. To determine the relationship between the level of poverty and regional development uses the technique of qualitative and quantitative analysis. The qualitative analysis technique used is the analysis of the map of poverty distribution, analysis map of regional development and harmonious relationship between the level of regional development and poverty. The quantitative analysis technique used is the analysis of correlation statistic product moment. The results of this research are: first, there is distribution variation of poverty level, there is relationship between distribution of poverty level and natural resources endowment. The region with lower resources endowment (up land region) have higher poverty level than the region with higher natural resources endowment (law land region) and conversel. Second, there is negative relationship between regional development level and poverty level.Third, the factors which influence the level of regional development are the economical and social facility of the region and accessibilities.

Abstract Research on the poverty risk caused by disasters in disaster - prone areas is a useful exploration to coordinate social economic development with disaster prevention and reduction, and is of great significance to regional sustainable development. Based on statistical data and spatial data, this paper takes Sichuan Province as the typical research area. Remote sensing and geographic information technology are used to study the poverty risk caused by disasters based on the quantitative evaluation of geological disasters risk and regional development level. the spatial differentiation characteristics of poverty risk caused by disasters are explored on the 1 km × 1 km grid scale. The results indicate that: (1) The overall risk of geological disasters in Sichuan Province is relatively high, with high and relatively high risk areas accounting for more than 40%, low and relatively low risk areas accounting for less than 30%. The risks in Mountain and Ravine Areas are significantly higher than other areas. (2) The regional development level in Sichuan Province is relatively high, but with significant the spatial differences. The development level of high-altitude areas and remote mountainous areas is quite different from that of the Chengdu Plain in the middle Sichuan Province. the problem of uneven development in the east, middle, and west is prominent. (3) The poverty risk caused by disasters is high, and the spatial pattern presents a characteristic of “high in the west and low in the east” with high positive spatial correlation. High - High Cluster Areas are mainly distributed in western and southwestern Sichuan. Low - Low Outlier Areas are mainly distributed in Chengdu Plain and Hilly Areas of Sichuan Basin. High - Low Outlier and Low - High Outlier Areas occupy a relatively small percentage with scattered distribution. This paper provides a reference for the coordinated management of disaster prevention and reduction, as well as social and economic development in underdeveloped areas.

Although uneven regional development has long been an issue in Java, most parts of the territory experienced an increased level of development over the last two decades. Due to the variance in local background and spatial heterogeneity, the driving factors of the development level should, theoretically, vary over space. Therefore, in this study, we aim to investigate the local factors that influence the development level of Java’s regions. We used the spatiotemporal pattern analysis, ordinary least squares (OLS) regression, and geographically weighted regression (GWR), utilizing the regional development index as the predicted variable, and the social level, economy, infrastructure, land use, and environmental barriers as predictors. As per our results, it was found that the level of development in Java has improved over the past two decades. Metropolitan areas continued to lead this improvement. All the predictors that we examined significantly affected regional development. However, the spatial pattern of the local regression coefficients of Human Development Index (HDI), landslide, paddy conversion, and crime shifted due to changes in the spatial concentration of development activities.

<p><em>Aceh is a province of Indonesia that currently consists of 23 districts/municipalities that are generally divided into three (3) regions, namely, the Northeast (11 districts/municipalities), the Middle-southeast (4 districts) and the Southwest (8 districts/municipalities) regions. These regions have different natural, human, social, political, and cultural resources. These differences have caused uneven economic development, which has further caused developmental disparity among the regions. </em></p><p><em>This study aims to assess the extent of developmental disparity among regions and to analyze the impact of Gross Regional Domestic Product per capita on regional developmental disparity in the three (3) regions of Aceh province in the period of 2000-2014. The data used in this research are secondary data that were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and the Regional Development Planning Board (Badan Perencanaan Daerah/Bappeda) of Aceh Province. To identify the level of inequality, the researcher utilizes Williamson Index;whereas to determine theimpact of Regional GDP per capita on the inequality of regional development, the researcher utilizes a semi logarithmic linear regression model that includes a discussion on the correlationcoefficient (R), determination coefficient (R Square), and t test using SPSS.</em></p><p><em>Based on estimation results, the researcher discovers that, for the North-East region, the value of correlation coefficient (R) is 0.8032, the value of determination coefficient is 64.52%, and the equation for Y isY = -1.8942 + 0,1263X;for the Middle-Southeast region, the value ofcorrelation coefficientis0.6760, the value of determination coefficient is 45.70%, and the equation for Y is Y = 0.6441 + 0,0400X, and;for the Southwest region, the value ofcorrelation coefficientis 0.4045, the value of determination coefficient is 16.36%, and the equation for Y is Y = -0.4703 + 0,0318X. As for the t test, the researcher discovers that for North-East region the per capita regional GDP wastcount&gt; ttable(4.671&gt; 1.7823);for the Middle-Southeast regional tcount&lt;ttable(-3.178&lt;1.7823), and; for the Southwest region tcount&lt;ttable (1.532 &lt;1.7823). These per capita regional GDP values mean that only in the Northeast region does the variable of per capita regional GDP have a real impact on the variables of regional developmental disparity. This is consistent with the fact that the Northeast region is much more advanced and developed than the other two regions.</em></p><p><strong><em>JEL Classification: </em></strong>O10, O11, O15 <em></em></p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>GDP, Index of Williamson and Discrepancy, Per capita GDP, Total of population</em>

t can provide the basis on drafting the regional general aviation development policy for government departments and civil aviation regulatory agencies by analyzing the regional general aviation development level scientifically. The regional development level of general aviation in 2009 is chosen as the research object. According to the seven regional administration of Civil Aviation Administration of China (North China, Northeast, East China, Central and southern, Southwest, Northwest, Xinjiang), the region of general aviation is divided into seven parts. The evaluation system of operational scale and operational efficiency of regional general aviation is established. The weights of the seven indicators in the evaluation system are determined by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the development level of seven region of general aviation is evaluated by Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method. Finally, the development levels of seven region of general aviation are settled by the values of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation. The relative good and weak regions of general aviation development are identified.
