Abstract The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the digital development of the agricultural industry and to identify significant factors restraining its development. To achieve this goal, a comparative analysis of the impact of the level of accessibility availability and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) tools by agricultural entrepreneurs on sectoral performance indicators was carried out in the study. The paradox of performance in the context of digital inequality is revealed. The author’s position is formulated, the essence of which is to build digital platforms - ecosystems to support the industry’s growth mechanisms. The results obtained in this study can act as a driving force in agricultural production and sale systems.

The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) integration in the teaching and learning practices of educational systems. The study is carried out by reviewing various literatures and studies on the ideas of ICT and its usage in teaching and learning practices. The study reveals that ICT is vital to transform the teaching and learning process and has a great importance for both teachers and students. It also looks at the definitions of ICT as given by different scholars. Lack of well-equipped ICT tools, beliefs and commitments of teachers as well as students on Technology-based Teaching and Learning practices are the main challenges of ICT implementation in education successfully.

The article highlights the issues of organization and functioning of logistics of online trade in the context of globalization of economic relations based on the introduction of modern digital information and communication technologies. The influence of digital economy on the changes in the forms of trade operations and the peculiarities of their organization in the Internet is studied. The differences between online and offline trading are estimated, as a result of which there is a propensity and loyalty of consumers to online purchases. The essence of logistics of online trade and features of its formation with the use of elements of virtual relationships with customers and suppliers are revealed. The article uses statistical data on the development of information and communication technologies in enterprises of Ukraine and open data of EU statistics for the period 2014-2018. The economic analysis of indicators of access to the Internet, e-Commerce operations and logistics for the service of electronic orders at the enterprises of Ukraine and the European Union allowed to determine the main trends that have developed in the digitalization of logistics of online trade and to assess the impact of digital platforms on global changes in trade.

Abstract Background: Information and communication technologies (ICTs) gained prevalent organizational and structural value in the modern economy. E-commerce is one of the sectors directly influenced by technological change. However, not all countries have the same opportunities to develop e-commerce growth; there are significant discrepancies in ICT utilization worldwide, known as the digital divide. Objectives: The purpose of this paper is to explore the level of difference among European countries regarding the e-commerce functionalities in their enterprises using a cluster analysis. Methods/Approach: To accomplish the paper goal, the k-means cluster analysis was conducted on the Eurostat data from 2019. Enterprises from 28 European countries were taken into consideration. The Kruskal-Wallis test is used to explore if the differences among clusters regarding the digital development, measured by the Digital Economy and Society Index are significant. Results: The investigation confirmed that there are significant differences among European countries regarding the development of e-commerce. However, a similar level of e-commerce is not related to economic and digital development. Conclusions: Since the relationship between economic development and e-commerce development in European countries is not linear, country-level policies are likely to be significant factors driving e-commerce development, which leads to the need for further investigation of this issue.

Purpose: Consideration of the main directions of development of information and communication technologies, as well as the impact of digital competencies on economic growth in the new conditions. Design / Methodology / Approach: This study uses statistical and monographic methods, as well as a survey method. Findings. The study showed that in agricultural production in the current conditions, digital technologies are actively used. This is evidenced by the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, the use of digital platforms and much more. Along with this, the labor market was not ready to offer specialists with knowledge and skills in the field of agricultural production and digital technologies. Practical implications: The problems discussed in the article indicate an urgent need to develop a mechanism for training specialists for the agricultural industry with digital skills. Originality / value: The authors define the concept of the digital economy, and also reveal the essence of the factors affecting its development.

Research on the impact of information and communication technologies (ICTs) on the field of public communication has become a trend of the last decade. This article aims to identify the relationship between the relational qualities of digital platforms (affordances) and the processes of judgment formation during communication on urban issues. To analyze the functioning of the process of lay epistemics on digital platforms of communication between the authorities and the population, we developed a new methodology of discourse analysis by modifying the parametric model of judgment of the American social psychologist A. Kruglanski and introducing the scale of intensity of its criteria. Communication on the platform "Our St. Petersburg", representing the possibility of interaction of citizens with the city authorities, was used as an empirical base of the research. As a result of the research using descriptive and regression analysis, and a visual survey of this platform, it was found that there is interconnection between the dominance of affordances corresponding to the "authoritarian" type of governmentality and the formation of predominantly informational judgments of the behavioral type. It was also found that the criteria of the parametric model have a different impact on the formation of a certain type of judgment in the framework of digital communication.

This paper aims at discussing the potentials of bottom-up design practices in relation to the latest developments in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by making an in-depth review of inaugural cases. The first part of the study involves a literature study and the elaboration of basic strategies from the case study. The second part reframes the existing ICT tools and strategies and elaborates on their potentials to support the modes of participation performed in these cases. As a result, by distilling the created knowledge, the study reveals the potentials of novel modes of ICT-enabled design participation which exploit a set of collective action tools to support sustainable ways of self-organization and bottom-up design. The final part explains the relevance of these with solid examples and presents a hypothetical case for future implementation. The paper concludes with a brief reflection on the implications of the findings for the future of architectural design education.

The impact and benefit that information and communication technologies (ICT) have in the educational field require new teaching skills. This fact has been increased by the recent crisis caused by COVID-19. This study tries to investigate the level of digital teaching competence (DTC) of Higher Education teachers of Health Sciences, and its relationship with several variables. For this, it has the participation of 300 teachers from the 9 universities of Andalusia (Spain). The research is structured through a descriptive (RQ1) and inferential (RQ2) design. The answers given to the DigCompEdu Check-In questionnaire adapted to the Spanish context are analyzed. The results, which show high levels of reliability of the questionnaire (Cronbach and McDonald) and validity (CFA), indicate that the level of competence is basic-intermediate. In addition, the area in which teachers excel is digital resources. For this reason, it is proposed to structure personalized training plans and continue expanding the characteristics of this study at an international level.
