Three Stages

This study aims to develop English language materials of front office for second semester students of the eleventh grade at SMK N 2 Singaraja. This study adopts the Design and Development (D&D) which is guided by data collection through six instruments, namely questionnaires for teacher and front office staff, Google form for teachers and students, checklist for students, and checklist for expert judges. There are three stages that the researcher takes to complete this study, namely designing, developing, and evaluating the quality of the teaching materials (product) so that it can be categorized as a good material. The result is that there are four topics developed by the researcher, namely (1) Renewal of reservations, (2) Cancellation of reservations, (3) Handling of group reservations orally and in writing, and (4) Handling of individual reservations orally and in writing.

Drivers posture is one of the critical factors that should be investigated closely and thoroughly in the design and development of car drivers seat. A car driver controls the vehicle movements; therefore, his/her safety and comfort is important to avoid any road injury or unfortunate accident. The two main objectives of this study are to develop2D software for capturingimages of drivers postural angles and to collect comfortable drivers postural angles from the participants involved in the study, while they are driving the cars. To achieve this, an experiment was conducted by using this software for collectingcar drivers postural angles. Forty five Malaysian citizens took part in the data collection process. From the study, a 2D image capture method software for capturing driver postural angles were developed. Finally, a range of comfortable postural angles for Malaysian car drivers were proposed based on the participants perception with respect to safety and comfort.

Despite the fact that father—child involvement has extensive effects on the health and well-being of the family, there is a paucity of research on fathers’ presence in health care research. The design and development of an instrument for assessing the characteristics of fathers’ availability and engagement with their preschool-aged children in Finland is presented. Data collection was undertaken in two separate periods involving 263 and 821 fathers. Results indicate that the father—child instrument (FCI) is ready for use in research seeking to assess fathers’ availability and engagement with their preschoolers. Further research is nonetheless required to assess the potential for a more sensitive interaction and for the generalization of the FCI.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiseminikasikan pengembangan bahan ajar cetak IPA bervisi SETS yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan efektif. Metode penelitianyang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Research and Development (R&D) dari empattahap yang disederhanakan menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu; (1) pendefinisian (define), (2)perancangan (design), dan (3) pengembangan (development). Subyek penelitian inisiswa kelas IV SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 03. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan wawancara, tes, observasi, angket. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Karakteristik bahan ajarcetak IPA bervisi SETS adalah menggabungkan antara materi sumber daya alamdengan unsur-unsur Science, Environment, Technology, and Society. Hasilpengembangan bahan ajar cetakvalid dan efektif. Skor validasi dalam kategorisangat baik. Skor keefektifan bahan ajar cetak terlihat dari hasil belajar, ketuntasanhasil belajar, peningkatan hasil belajar, aktivitas guru dan aktivitas peserta didik.Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian pengembangan pembelajaranIPA SD bervisi SETS, disarankan; bahan ajar cetak IPA bervisi SETS dalamkompetensi sumber daya alam telah dikembangkan dengan hasil valid dan efektif,maka perlu dilakukan uji coba dalam skala lebih luas dan guru dapat menggunakanbahan ajar cetak IPA bervisi SETS sebagai suplemen untuk proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Diseminasi, Bahan Ajar IPA, Visi SETSAbstractThe goal of this research is to disseminate the improvement of IPA printedteaching material in Science, Environment, Technology, Society (SETS) visionwhich fulfill valid criteria and effective.
