The research included 19 breeding lines and 4 cultivars of spring barley from the preliminary field experiments harvested in 2020 in Radzików. All barley samples were characterized for the content of protein, non-starch polysaccharides (NSP) with soluble (S-NSP) and insoluble (I-NSP) fractions and β-glucan. Additionally, viscosity of water extracts (WEV) was measured to determine the functional properties of the grain. It was the most diverse parameter (CV = 27%) and was significantly correlated with β-glucan content (r = 0.50; for p <0.05). This dependence is shown by the results obtained for the grain of the Avatar cultivar and the RAH 744/19 breeding line, in which the content of β-glucan (5.3% and 4.8%, respectively), as well as the WEV (3.3 mPa.s and 3.0 mPa.s, respectively) were the highest. The lowest content of β – glucan (3.5%) and one of the lowest WEV values (1.4 mPa.s) were observed for KWS Jessie cultivar. Principal component analysis (PCA) showed a substantial impact of the two components PC1 and PC2 on the variability of the analyzed material showing significant variability of the 5 barley genotypes and confirmed the previous results of biochemical analyzes. Our results made it possible to indicate several genotypes that may constitute a source of variability in breeding works aimed at improving the quality of barley. Presented study also show that the grain of some new barley genotypes, with a favorable chemical composition from a fodder and brewing perspective, is a good material for future use in industry.

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are one-dimensional tubular structures of carbon that have attracted much attention due to their potential to be used in various fields like energy storage/conversion devices, biosensing devices, drug delivery systems to name a few. Their excellent electrochemical properties like electron mobility, electrical and thermal conductivity, and high surface area make them good material for use in energy storage and conversion materials. The most promising research in the synthesis and applications of CNTs toward energy conversion and storage is highlighted along with limitations faced in mass production.

Intermetallic alloy ZrCo is a good material for storing tritium (T). However, ZrCo is prone to disproportionation reactions during the process of charging and discharging T. Alloying atoms are often added in ZrCo, occupying the Zr or Co site, in order to restrain disproportionation reactions. Meanwhile, T often decays into helium (He), and the purity of T seriously decreases once He escapes from ZrCo. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the influence of alloying atoms on the basic stability property of He. In this work, we perform systematical ab initio calculations to study the stability property of He in ZrCoH3 (ZrCo adsorbs the H isotope, forming ZrCoH3). The results suggest that the He atom will undergo displacements of 0.31 and 0.12 Å when it substitutes for Co and Zr, respectively. In contrast, the displacements are very large, at 0.67–1.09 Å, for He replacing H. Then, we introduce more than 20 alloying atoms in ZrCo to replace Co and Zr in order to examine the influence of alloying atoms on the stability of He at H sites. It is found that Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Zn, Nb, Mo, Tc, Ru, Ta, W, Re, and Os replacing Co can increase the substitution energy of H by the He closest to the alloying atom, whereas only Cr, Mn, Fe, Mo, Tc, Ru, Ta, W, Re, and Os replacing Co can increase the substitution energy of H by the He next closest to the alloying atom. The influence of the alloying atom substituting Zr site on the substitution energies is inconspicuous, and only Nb, Mo, Ru, Ta, and W increase the substitution energies of H by the He closest to the alloying atom. The increase in the substitution energy may suggest that these alloy atoms are conducive to fix the He atom in ZrCo and avoid the reduction in tritium purity.

Good material and appropriate books, as needed, will help the students and the teacher while teaching. The Arabic Language Development Unit Program is obligatory for all university students at the State Islamic University of Antasari in Banjarmasin. This program is one of the conditions for obtaining a bachelor's degree. This research aims to analyze the book "Al-Arabiya Al-Mufarriha 2" from the linguistic aspect,  teaching objectives, and the element of exercises. The type of this research is qualitative desk research with an analytical and descriptive approach. The researcher designed the design of this research as follows: The researcher began to take the data related to and needed to analyze the book “Al-Arabiya Al-Mufarriha 2”, the researcher determined the desired objectives for analyzing the data, and at the end, the researcher began to explore the crucial aspects of the book “Al-Arabiya Al-Mufarriha 2” of the advantages and disadvantages according to the objectives. The results of this research are the vocabulary and exercises from the book that are appropriate and consistent with the goals of teaching; some of the images used did not match the vocabulary intended for training.

It was not after 1848 but actually before this revolutionary year that Europe witnessed the abusive proceedings perpetrated by the great powers which undermined the functionality of the post-Napoleonic international order. Even worse, their abuse of power in European and overseas affairs provoked a feeling of mistrust, pessimism and fear and led to discussions about the disappearing justice from the world among a considerable number of Europeans. By the 1840s, under the influence of various crises and conflicts members of the educated middle and upper middle classes in particular changed the way they judged and approached issues of international politics, justice, security and nation building. This process was all the more important in Italy since the search for greater security against external threats became the driving force in the spread of the idea to unite her politically from the Alps to the Sicily. This unity, along with well defensible frontiers, a strong army and navy and good material resources including colonial ones, was to ensure a more secure position within the system of European politics and thereby better prospects for a peaceful future according to the phrase Si vis pacem, para bellum. However, this power-oriented response to insecurity had devastating consequences for the generally shared desire to live in peace with other nations, represented by another aspiration deeply rooted in the national movement: to establish a better international order. To reveal this important process of pan-European dimension is the principal aim of this book, and the Italian arena of politics in 1830–1848 has been chosen to clarify this sea change in political behaviour.

Small and Medium sized enterprises are recognized as national safety net during crisis era in this nation. Gangsar is a small-sized enterprise and recognized as songkok home industry in Lamongan City. Maintaining sustainable quality is known as both challenge and weakness in order to sustain its business. The research purpose is to identify defect and analyze it in order to improve product quality. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis were used as research method.  This research begun with mapping flow production process in order to identified defect product. Once defect product was recognized, the next stage was calculating risk priority number. Mapping fault tree was the next stage to detect failure mode. The results showed three defects identified namely trimmed with Risk Priority Number144, disorderly sewing process with RPN 126 and non-precision cutting fabric with RPN 86. These defects have been analyzed using FTA and it was found factors such as human errors, no-good material, and broken sewing machines need to be eliminated. Improving work facilities and regular training as well as working supervision are considered as better scenario in order to sustaining product quality.

Green concrete is a type of concrete. It is a sustainable material used for the construction of reinforced concrete structures. Green concrete is different compared to normal concrete. Nowadays, it plays a very good role in the construction of structures. It is subjected to very low energy consumption and low resource consumption. Green concrete is a very good material for sustainable development. Concrete is made from the replacement of substituent ingredients such as cement and aggregates. In this waste materials such as agricultural or industrial wastes are placed during manufacture to produce a new concrete. Green concrete is popular worldwide due to its extraordinary properties and applications. This paper mainly deals with the importance of green concrete and its applications, advantages, and disadvantages. The results are varying for based on different structures. So, we can get all characteristics and properties of concrete structures and know their strength.
