Abstract OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of different radiotherapy techniques on hematological toxicity of craniospinal irradiation. METHODS A retrospective study involving changes in hematology during craniospinal irradiation were conducted. 79 patients were divided into observation group and control group. 36 patients in observation group received intensity modulated radiation therapy and 43 patients in control group received three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy. The prescribed dose of PTV in the two groups are 28.8-36 Gy, and the single dose are 1.6-2.0 Gy. The hematological toxicity changes and bone marrow suppression stage of the two groups of patients before, during and after radiotherapy were recorded and analyzed. RESULTS 90% of patients showed different bone marrow suppression stage during and after radiotherapy. During radiotherapy, the toxicity of hemoglobin in the observation group was more serious than that in the control group (z=-2.272, p=0.023). After radiotherapy, the toxicity of hemoglobin and white blood cells in the observation group was more serious than that in the control group (z=-3.053, p=0.002; z=-3.163, p=0.002). CONCLUSION We should closely observe the changes of hematological toxicity for craniospinal irradiation patient treated with IMRT and take corresponding preventive measures to avoid serious bone marrow suppression stage.

Background: To investigate the effect of perceptual stress reduction control intervention on the level of symptomatic groups at different time points in breast cancer. Methods: A total of 124 breast cancer patients were divided into intervention group and control group, 62 cases in each group. Perioperative nursing and chemotherapy nursing were given to the control group, and the intervention group was given the interventional stress reduction control intervention. The level of symptom clusters of different time points were compared between the two groups. Results: The incidence and severity of myelosuppression in the intervention group were slightly lower than those in the control group. The adverse reactions of bone marrow suppression at T3 were much lower than those in the control group, and the differences were significant (P=0.003, P=0.043). The control group had higher incidence and more severe symptoms of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea than the intervention group (P=0.002, P=0.042). The symptoms of breast pain and swelling at T1 in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P=0.000, P=0.000). There was no significant difference in breast symptoms between the two groups at T2 and T3 (p>0.05). At the time of T2 and T3 of chemotherapy, the health promotion behavior scores of the intervention group were higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (PT2=0.000, PT3=0.000). Conclusion: Perceptual stress reduction control intervention can effectively relieve bone marrow suppression, digestive tract discomfort and breast symptoms, and promote health promotion behavior.

Objective: To study the effect of Shenmai injection on the efficacy and side effects of chemotherapy in acute leukemia. Methods: Sixty-two patients with acute leukemia admitted to the hospital between February 2018 and June 2019 were enrolled in this study. All patients were divided into observation and control groups according to different treatment methods in chemotherapy. The control group was treated with chemotherapy alone. The observation group was treated Shenmai injection combined with chemotherapy. The treatment effect of the two groups was compared, and the incidence of bone marrow blood and side effects before and after treatment were compared. Results: The therapeutic effect of the observation group was 93.55% which was much higher than that of the control group of 74.19%, P<0.05. The bone marrow blood levels of WBC, PLT and Hb in the observation group before and after treatment were 23.97±3.05, 6.76±1.27, 69.01±8.15, 66.96±9.46, 91.07±8.15, 89.35±7.46, respectively, compared with the control group. The difference in the situation after treatment was found to be significant. The incidence of toxic side effects such as nausea and vomiting, impaired liver function and renal dysfunction in the observation group was 9.68%, which was lower than that of the control group (32.26%, P<0.05). Conclusion: Shemai injection has significant effects on the efficacy and side effects of chemotherapy in acute leukemia and effectively improves the effect of chemotherapy.

Objective: The mortality of rebleeding after ruptured intracranial aneurysms was more than 40%. It is essential to identify the intracranial artery in sectional anatomy. However, it is difficult for students to understand the intracranial artery in the section. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the application effect of three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction and numerical simulation of intracranial aneurysm for sectional anatomy based on computed tomography angiography (CTA). Method: Sixty students in medical imaging specialty of our university were divided into two groups. The control group was taught with conventional sectional anatomy and CT images, while the observation group was taught with 3D reconstruction and numerical simulation of intracranial aneurysm. The teaching characteristics and teaching effects were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Result: The 3D reconstruction can accurately express the size, direction, and adjacent relationship of aneurysms. Through rotation of the 3D image, students can easily understand the name and location of cerebral arteries. Combined with the function of 3D positioning, each blood vessel can automatically and accurately locate in the transverse, coronal, and sagittal plane. Abnormal wall shear stress was easily found in the intersection of cerebral artery circle, which was the physiological basis for the occurrence of aneurysms. There was a high shear zone in the root of an aneurysm, which was the physiological factor of rupture. The scores of sectional specimen identification, drawing examination, and theoretical assessment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The 3D reconstruction and numerical simulation can directly display the 3D morphological and physiological characteristics of intracranial aneurysms, which is convenient for students to understand and memorize. It can reach a good teaching effect in sectional anatomy.

Abstract Bone marrow (BM) constitutes one of the largest organs in mice and humans, continuously generating, in a highly regulated manner, red blood cells, platelets, and white blood cells that together form the majority of cells of the body. In this review, we provide a quantitative overview of BM cellular composition, we summarize emerging knowledge on its structural organization and cellular niches, and we argue for the need of multidimensional approaches such as recently developed imaging techniques to uncover the complex spatial logic that underlies BM function in health and disease.

Abstract Objective To observe the expression of inflammatory molecules in bone marrow immune cells of patients with immune-related hematocytopenia (IRH), and to investigate the immune mechanism and clinical significance of the disease. Methods Total of 36 IRH patients were selected as observation group and 30 healthy people were taken as control group. Serum cytokines levels, activity of immunocytes and expression of HLA-DR were detected. Immune fluorescence was applied to observe the expression state of immunologic molecules and cytokines in IRH patients. Results Serum cytokines were elevated in various degrees in observation group. Compared with the control group, the cytokines levels were significantly higher (P < 0.05). After treatement with immunosuppressive drugs, the serum levels of cytokines in observation group reduced to a level close to the control group. HLADR were upregulated in activated tissue basophils, eosinophils, dendritic cells (DC) and macrophages of bone marrow in IRH patients, and POX activity in these immunocytes of IRH was higher than that of the control group. Immune molecules were highly expressed in eosinophils, DC and macrophages. Conclusions It is demonstrated that antibodies or self-reactive lymphocytes were produced in IRH marrow, which would cause lesions of hemocytes, and lead to pathological process finally. Structure of hematopoietic cells mutated and these cells might be acted as target cells of immunocytes in the pathological process. Immunocytes could secrete inflammatory factors and lead to immunologic injury of hemocyte.
