The nonlinear transport behavior during low-temperature avalanche breakdown of extrinsic germanium is associated with the self-generated formation of spatio-temporal current structures. Very close to the critical phase transition between different conducting states, the underlying physical relaxation processes develop on relatively slow macroscopic time scales in the ms range. We have evaluated the slowing down of the characteristic time constants from independent measurements of the system response behavior to external pulsed excitations.

Slow dynamics in the 'Griffiths phase' of the 3D ± J Ising spin glass is studied by means of Monte Carlo simulation, in which the spectra of (logarithms of) relaxation times, P (x) with x = ln τ, are analyzed in detail. At each temperature P (x) exhibits a characteristic crossover behavior at around a certain value xc which in turn tends to diverge toward the spin-glass critical temperature Tc. The contributions to the branch x ≲ xc are interpreted due to the ordinary critical slowing down process associated with Tc (critical dynamics). The behavior of P (x) at x ≲ xc, on the other hand, is consistent with the picture of relaxation processes of large, rare clusters which are related to the Griffiths singularity at the Curie temperature of the corresponding pure ferromagnet (cluster dynamics).

Banking industry has a very important role in economic development in a country. Indonesia, which is the largest Muslim country in the world, certainly has the prospect of the development of Sharia Banking Industry is very good in the future. However, the development of Sharia Bank has been slowing down in recent years and the profitability of sharia comercial banking is still below the ideal value. This study aims to determine the internal factors and external factors that affect the profitability of Sharia Bank in the year of January 2012 until August 2017. The variables used in this study are ROA, Inflation, NPF, and BOPO. The data used is aggregate data of all Sharia Commercial Banks recorded at Bank Indonesia. Measurement of Statistic Description, F-Test, T-Test, Correlation Coefficient, Coefficient of Determination and Multiple Linear Regression using IBM SPSS 21 software. The results showed that significant negative effect of BI rate, NPF and BOPO was found, while Inflation variable showed negative but not significant. Overall, the above variables affect the ROA of 87.7%, while 12.3% is likely to be influenced by other factors.

Using radiothermoluminescence (RTL), the molecular mobility features in the temperature range of 77-300 K were studied for the polypropylene (PP)/ethylene propylene diene elastomer SKEPT-4044 with NiO, Cu2O and Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) based on ABS-acrylonitrile butadiene or SCS-divinyl styrene matrices. It has been shown that the introduction of nanofillers in PP significantly affects the nature and temperature of γ- and β-relaxation processes, while the region of manifestation of the β-process noticeably shifts to the region of low temperatures. Composites with Cu2O NPs have a higher β-transition temperature Tβ than composites with other NPs. It was found that PP/SKEPT-4044 composites with Cu2O NPs with a dispersion of 11-15 nm and acrylonitrile butadiene thermoplastics have optimal frost resistance compared to other compositions.

The paper presents the analysis of the influence of fasteners and connections flexibility on displacements of symmetrical single-bay pitched-roof steel building, including trapezoidal cladding acting as a diaphragm. The purpose of the article was to compare numerical models with and without taking into consideration fasteners and connections flexibility in order to observe the differences in transverse stiffness of the building during modifying model from the simple one to more complex and precise. The analyses were carried out for the 3D structure. Fasteners and connections were substituted by equivalent beam finite elements. Corrugated sheets were replaced by three types of equivalent orthotropic shell models and the influence of the choice of the model on the stiffness of the building was observed. The results showed that in the analysed structure the flexibility of fasteners and connections has negligible effect on transverse displacements of the building in the case of four sides fastening of the sheeting, however in the case of two sides fastening the influence significantly increases.
