In order to reduce traffic accidents, achieving safety and harmony of traffic color, a quantitative research on traffic color of urban road were carried. Grounded on modern knowledge of color theory, color psychology, Grey Theory and Back-error Propagation Artificial Neural Network (GT-BPNN), Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (PSO) and traffic questionnaires, the evaluation index system of traffic color in urban road, the evaluation model of transportation color and the model of color harmony and optimization in urban road were constructed. Assisted by MATLAB and other software, the reliability and validity of models were determined, taking a road in Xuzhou, Jiangsu as a test section. According to the results, some reasonable improvements on traffic safe color were recommended.

Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are considered to have potential innovation capabilities and can create new market opportunities. Venture capital can financially support entrepreneurial activities for economic growth and governs and nurtures the growth of the SMEs. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence mechanism of venture capital on the development of SMEs in agri-food industry. Based on the enterprise growth theory, this study constructed an evaluation model, consisting of technological innovation, profitability, development capability, and solvency, to examine the effect of venture capital on the growth of agricultural SMEs. Using data of 40 agricultural SEMs from the SME and ChiNext boards in China, the empirical analysis has been conducted with the multivariate regression analysis method. The results show that the venture capital can significantly improve the technology innovation, profitability, and growth ability of SMEs. For the solvency of SMEs, the promoting role of venture capital is not obvious. Finally, the practical implications of this study for venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and regulators are discussed.

The purpose of this research is to propose an overall performance evaluation model for local development companies that takes into account social, financial and operational aspects.  While there are many ways to evaluate business performance, few make it possible to take into account all the objectives of the organization. After reviewing the literature on the topic, we developed a model that uses a surface measurement to classify organizations. We then applied this model to the Société locale d’investissement et de développement d’emploi du Québec (SOLIDEQ), which itself comprises 84 SOLIDEs.  The mission of these organizations is to provide venture capital to regional companies. As an arm of a labor-sponsored venture capital corporation, the SOLIDEs must obtain a return on investment commensurate with the risk incurred, achieve local development objectives such as job creation and maintenance, and lastly, manage operations wisely given that the management committee consists of volunteers. The study results show that our model can be effectively used to measure the performance of each SOLIDE and to create a classification that takes into account all their objectives.

Connected with the practical construction and considering Structural properties of single-tower self-anchored suspension bridge, the multi-level safety evaluation model is established according to the main risk factor and weighting rate of risk factor is analyzed by the analytic hierarchy process. A safety assessment method with qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis is proposed based on the grey theory and fuzzy mathematics theory for the practical problem of multi-index comprehensive evaluation, and risk ranking is given.

Based on the characteristic of oilfield development programs, we comprehensive analyzed the influence of development and economical factors on development program, and constructed a comparative evaluation factors system of oilfield development program. In addition, based on the comparative analysis of grey theory and fuzzy evaluation, a grey-fuzzy appraisal method was set up and successfully applied to the evaluation of oilfield development programs. Grey theory was used to describe the factors that are difficult to quantification, and the analytic hierarchy process was used to confirm the appraisal factor’s weight and grey level. Furthermore, we chose eight development programs of an oilfield as our evaluation target and get an option sequence by using the grey-fuzzy method. The result shows that, grey-fuzzy methods have more advantage than fuzzy method in the evaluation of oilfield development programs.

Performance evaluation of information management is a necessary part in information management. Regarding information as a kind of resource, this paper constitutes an indicator system framework for enterprise information management performance evaluation, based on effect evaluation principle in performance evaluation. It proposes enterprise information management performance evaluation model based on fuzzy-grey theory and performance level used in calculation of enterprise information management. At last, it makes a sensitivity analysis to evaluation results by -cut set. The effectiveness and rationality of this method can be indicated by example analysis. And sensitivity analysis increases the practical reference value of evaluation results to enterprises.

Based on the full consideration of the structure and coordination in the service supply chain, an evaluation system focusing on evaluating the logistics service supply chain performance was set up. In this paper we introduce the grey theory into the evaluation system and construct an evaluation model based on grey relational analysis method. The example shows that the grey relational analysis can whiten the unascertained relationship between the evaluation factors effectively, reduce the influence of subjective factors, and improve the accuracy of the evaluation.
