All over the planet, potatoes are an important staple food crop. However, to maintain the quality of the tubers and increase their availability, it is necessary to store the tubers for a long time, often using industrial scale equipment. In this context, maintaining potato quality is critical for the seed, fresh and processing sectors. The industry has always innovated and invested in improved post-harvest storage. However, the rate of technological change is accelerating and will continue to accelerate. Stricter legislation and changing consumer attitudes are driving increased interest in creating alternative or complementary post-harvest treatments to traditional growth suppression and disease control chemicals. We are considering modern knowledge about the biochemical factors that determine the state of dormancy, as well as the influence of factors before and after harvest on ensuring the quality of potato tubers. In addition, the role of genomics as a future approach to improving potato quality is discussed. It is critical, thanks to more focused industry research, to understand how pre-harvest conditions affect tuber quality and the factors that determine the transition to dormancy, which should create the conditions for achieving sustainable storage.

In the modern knowledge–information age, various information and communication technologies provide us with many benefits and at the same time, bring various side effects such as cybercrime. The number of cybercrimes is increasing gradually, and in particular, the number of digital sex crimes has been increasing recently. In addition, digital sex crimes are becoming increasingly violent, so national measures are needed. In this study, statistical data at the national level were used to investigate the overall characteristics of digital sex crimes in Korea. First, statistical analysis shows that the victims are mainly women in their teens and 20s. Typical types of digital sex crimes are distribution of illegal contents and illegal filming, the perpetrators are mainly unknown, and digital sex crimes were less often recognized by others and more often by the victims themselves. Based on these results, countermeasures against various digital sex crimes are suggested.

Determining of tumor changes is an important characteristic of the clinical evaluation of cancer therapy - both tumor shrinkage (objective response) and disease progression are useful endpoints of clinical trials. The RECIST criteria were first published in 2000 and since then have been used in the global oncological practice to assess the effectiveness of treatment. In 2009, the RECIST 1.0 criteria were revised and supplemented with new data from RECIST 1.1 (2009). Taking into account the use of target chemotherapy and the peculiarities of the tumor response to it, the SACT criteria and modified RECIST criteria (mRECIST) are proposed as a way to adapt the RECIST criteria. Modern knowledge of the criteria for ASSESSMENT OF TUMOR RESPONSE will help radiologyst to correctly interpret the research results. The paper provides an overview of scientific studies on the criteria for evaluating tumor response to treatment based on radiological studies.

Since its discovery, H. pylori infection is known as one of the risk factor for the development of gastritis, peptic ulcer, GIT tumors and numerous other diseases such as psoriasis. Infection caused by H. pylori is posed as the top oncogene in the risk of the development of gastrocarcinoma (First class oncogene by Classification of International Agency for Research of Cancer). That is why the elaboration of fast and accurate methods of diagnosis (non-invasive methods especially) and proper treatment of Helicobacter infection is still very important. Throughout the time, knowledge about pathogenesis of Helicobacter infection have been expanded with the detection of adhesins, chemotaxins and multiple virulence factors related to invasion, adhesion and cytotoxicity of H. pylori. Invasive and non-invasive methods of diagnostics are currently being improved in effectiveness and accuracy. But still, due to different factors (e. g., dramatically increasing drug resistance), eradication of H. pylori remains big problem world-wide. Our review represents modern data on pathogenesis, diagnostics and treatment of Helicobacter infection.

Jørgen Delman’s Ph.D. thesis “Agricultural Extension in Renshou County, China” (1991) was the result of his return to academia in the late 1980s after he worked for three years at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN in China. It is a detailed study of the complex rural bureaucracy promoting agricultural innovation and change and reflects a deep understanding of how things worked on the ground in those relatively early years of market-oriented rural reforms. It also contributes to a larger story of how ‘modern’ knowledge over the last century has been transmitted and negotiated between China’s urban centers and its countless rural communities. This vignette offers some thoughts on this larger topic.

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of fundamental changes in the organization of the higher education system in connection with the transition to the fourth technological order, which is accompanied by the formation and development of digital technologies, the effective use of which presupposes that an employee has a system of modern knowledge and competencies. In these conditions, we can talk about the formation of the economy of knowledge. Only in this case an innovative version of the development of the national economy of Russia becomes a real. The article discusses various points of view on the qualitative and quantitative changes in the system of higher education in the era of the digital economy. The modern higher education system is the result of the classical industrial era, when mass standardization was considered the most important criterion for success. Traditional formal education was essentially a copy of the generally accepted model of factory production. The education model was designed in such a way that learners were passive recipients of information. The basic values of this system of higher education were control, standardization, compliance with generally accepted standards. However, this option has exhausted the possibilities of its development. It is noted that the digital transformation of the learning process should create conditions for the effective use of the latest technologies for the transition to a personalized and result-oriented educational process. In relation to Russia, this means the development of material infrastructure, the introduction of digital programs, the development of online learning, the development of new management systems for universities and learning processes.

Abstract This article studies a six-bit digital phase shifter and its compatible design through different physiognomies. Furthermore, the communication circuits are applied based on modern knowledge by application. The study started with the initial values of 5.625° as the digital phase shifter is programmed discrete and advanced to a 64-step size. Moreover, the properties of bandwidth are computed by 6.44–10.85 GHz. (C-X band) is related to the phase shifter around the frequency, so the full improvement of 66 dB of the phase shifter is 7 dB. Besides, the phase is changing in array antenna and secondhand in optimal Design. Finally, the study discusses dissimilar kinds of digital phase shifters, to study the parameters that affects the design in future cases.

Education represents a vital tool for human and national development in the modern-day world. Perhaps, the tertiary institutions are the drivers of modern knowledge across the globe, hence, the need for continuous improvement of the higher education sector for quality knowledge. The involvement of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund in lifting the faces of tertiary education in Nigeria is yielding significant progress in attaining its purposes. The primary purpose of the present study was to investigate the impact of Tetfund grants on the academic commitment of Nigerian lecturers in pedagogical and research development. Eighty-three academic lecturers randomly selected from different tertiary institutions in Kogi State, Nigeria, participated in the study. The data for the study was collected using a self-developed instrument designed to ascertain the role of Tetfunds funding on the lecturers motivation and commitment to teaching and research. The finding of the simple regression analysis conducted revealed that Tetfund funding statistically significantly accounted for the variation in scholastic commitments of the lecturers. The study concludes that Tetfund grants are crucial in the development of quality education in Nigerias academia.
