This paper discusses the design of a knowledge management system framework to improve effectiveness and efficiency in managing new student registrations, the purpose of this study is to form an information system framework for new students when carrying out the registration process until the entrance screening test process ends in the official report passed whether or not the student. The method used uses the triad knowledge management approach. The results obtained are the KMS Framework which can be used as a reference in the management of PPDB in an organization affiliated with the education sector

Universitas Pasundan merupakan salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Swasta terkemuka yang ada di Jawa Barat. Sebagai universitas yang terus melakukan perbaikan dalam kinerjanya, Universitas Pasundan harus dapat menjawab tantangan zaman dari mulai peningkatan infrastruktur, kinerja dosen, sampai kepada tenaga kependidikan sebagai ujung tombak pelayanan yang dilakukan kepada mahasiswa, dosen dan sesama karyawan. Tenaga kependidikan dituntut dengan cepat beradaptasi dan belajar mengenai kemampuan teknis dalam berbagai bidang yang ada dilingkungan Universitas. Untuk mengatasi masalah unversitas secara keseluruhan, mulai dari tuntutan adaptasi terhadap pekerjaan yang ada sehingga terbentuk proses pelayanan yang baik dan cepat, perlu adanya suatu sistem yang dapat mengelola dan mendistribusikan pengetahuan kepada karyawan agar pengetahuan yang ada pada karyawan senior (pakar) dapat dimiliki oleh karyawan yang baru serta meminimalisir terjadinya kesalahan dalam pekerjaan yang selalu berulang. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada Perancangan Sistem Manajemen Pengetahuan (Knowledge Management System) untuk tenaga kependidikan di perguruan tinggi studi kasus pada Universitas Pasundan dalam upaya menjawab tantangan jaman dan keunggulan bersaing. Penelitian ini menggunakan Work System Framework, Knowledge Taxonomies, dan 6 Langkah dari The 10-Step Knowledge Management Roadmap. Hasil akhir adalah blueprint berupa prototype KMS untuk mengelola KM di Universitas Pasundan.

In this paper, a high-efficiency knowledge management system, HDIA_KMS, based on habitual domains and intelligent agents is proposed. The design concept of the system is to use an agent community to deal with the activities of knowledge management effectively, that is, knowledge sharing, knowledge classification, knowledge creation, and knowledge recovery. The features of this system are: collecting the surfing habits of each user and finding hidden patterns of departments to recommend articles by data mining; classifying the knowledge articles in accordance with departments and therefore rapidly finding out suitable documents for users; providing personal service through personal profiles; creating new knowledge documents by discussing among users; accepting and reclassifying improperly classified articles found by users; taking the abilities of collaboration, independence and automation of agents to help users use and improve the effects of HDIA_KMS. The PASSI methodology is adopted to analyze and design the system, and agents protocols follow the FIPA specifications.

Student association is a place for every student of certain majors, which is intended to accommodate the aspirations of all its members. Knowledge sharing process usually done through direct meetings in the classroom and discussions. Knowledge Management System can manage knowledge and document of each member so that the process of knowledge sharing is not impeded. This study develops a web 2.0 knowledge management system with the concept of Wikipedia. Wikipediaâ??s concept is applied to allow each member of organization to add, delete, and edit the content of the website. Information and knowledge can be used and updated continuously by fellow members of organization. Knowledge management process that used in this system is knowledge discovery, knowledge capture and knowledge sharing. The result of User Acceptance Test is knowledge management system has been accepted by the Organization in assisting organization members develop knowledge and acquire new knowledge

Information technology is increasingly developing and has a positive impact on the world of education. The implementation of student counseling with a Knowledge Management System is one of the contributions of information technology in the world of education. Many benefits provided by the Student Counseling Knowledge Management System, in managing the knowledge needed by the counselor section to document student consultations. The development and implementation of a KMS counseling system costs more to employ professional staff to maintain and improve; KMS student counseling application; For this reason, it is necessary to design a Cloud Computing-based Student Counseling Knowledge Management System. The research method carried out in the first stage is to collect data and information about Knowledge Management and Student Counseling, and how to use it to create a Knowledge Management System Application, Student Counseling Based on cloud computing. Furthermore, conducting a literature study and literature review, system design is in the form of data architecture compounding, process design, network design, and user interface design. The design results of this system can facilitate educational institutions in conducting online cloud computing-based student counseling

Tingkat EGDI (E-Government Development Index) di Indonesia mengalami penurunan peringkat sehingga dari hal tersebut mencerminkan kondisi perkembangan E-Government di Indonesia masih belum maksimal meliputi: tingkat layanan umum, terjadi ketidak seragaman layanan umum di desa, dukungan perangkat teknologi informasi masih terbatas, belum adanya pengelolaan arsip desa, belum adanya sistem yang bisa mengelola pengetahuan, belum adanya sinergi antar perangkat desa. Desa Dukuh Karya merupakan desa yang termasuk kedalam Kabupaten Karawang, Kecamatan Rengasdengklok. Desa Dukuh Karyamemiliki penduduk sekitar 6000 dan sebagian penduduknya memiliki penghasilan dari hasil pertanian. Perlunya pengelola pengetahuan yang ada di desa sehingga bisa dikelola dengan baik dan menerapkan Knowledge Management System (KMS) berbasis sistem informasi desa bisa meningkatkan layanan umum di desa Dukuh Karya. Dengan menerapkan konsep KMS untuk bisa menghimpun dan mengelola semua pengetahuan yang ada. Membangun Knowledge, menghimpun, menyimpan dan menggunakannya sehingga pemerintah desa lebih transparan dan akuntable sehingga meningkatkan layanan public. Implementasi KMS merupakan suatu cara bagi perangkat desa untuk mengidentifikasi,     membuat, merepresentasikan, mendistribusikan, dan memungkinkan pengadaptasian wawasan dan pengalaman yang terdiri dari pengetahuan, baik yang dimiliki oleh individu maupun pengetahuan yang melekat pada proses atau standar prosedur pelayanan yang mempunyai Tujuan utama untuk memelihara dan mentransfer dengan efektif pengetahuan yang penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan perangkat pemerintah desa kepada warganya.

The purpose of this study is to examine how Knowledge level augmented parameters impact on the effective adoption of information and communication technology (ICT) by onion farmers in Perambalur district of Tamil Nadu. Data were gathered from a focus group made up of 60 Farmers in Perambalur district. The paper finds that a willingness of indigenous ICT users is particularly influenced by the recognition and incorporation of visible social imperatives during the adoption process. Research limitations/implications – The outcome of this study highlights important issues for ICT adoption. One particular area that must be taken into consideration is the adoption channel. Perceptions of ICT adoption will differ significantly among adopters. For this reason, the need for developing an appropriate adoption channel that ensures successful diffusion of the innovation should be recognized. The paper also demonstrates that Knowledge Management System among farmers using ICT to yield more profit in onion Production form knowledge distributed by the experts. Hence the research work carried out to acquire, represent, and distribute the knowledge Management system to the Farming community.
