This study aimed to determine the various motivations of students in participating in school organizations. These school organizations play an important role in fostering educational success and include intra-curricular and extracurricular activities. The school organizations discussed in this article were student council (known as Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah or OSIS) and extracurricular activities. This study consisted of a literature review. Based on the results, students’ motivation in participating in school organizations can be categorized into two types, namely internal and external motivation. Internal motivation is that which comes from within the individual, and external motivation is an influence that comes from outside the individual. The motivation of students may affect their activeness in participating in organizations and their daily activities. Keywords: student participation, motivation, school organization

Critical thinking is one of the abilities that every individual must possess in order to be able to adapt to increasingly complex life. This critical thinking ability is also crucial for every leader to support the proper analysis and decision making. As the young generation of future leaders, students need this critical thinking ability. Therefore, socialization was carried out regarding the importance of critical thinking to build a critical young generation. This Community Service Activity is a series of Student Leadership Basic Training activities at SMA Citra Islami Cikupa. The socialization process was carried out by giving lectures and discussions with the activity participants and an evaluation using a questionnaire. The results of this Community Service activity provide conclusions including 1) socialization about the importance of critical thinking skills or critical thinking goes well and is followed with great enthusiasm by prospective student council administrators; 2) this socialization is also a provision for prospective student council administrators as the young generation of future leaders to continue to hone their critical skills

The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of emotional intelligence training in helping subjects overcome the conflict they were experiencing. Conflict is a situation where each other conflicts with each other. In the organisation's scope, namely the Student Council, conflict refers to disagreements between people or members of the Student Council. Improper application of conflict management can lead to unsanitary working conditions. It shows the importance of the intervention given to manage conflict, especially in the Student Council, which is through emotional intelligence training. The research design used was experimental (one group pretest-posttest) with 19 subjects (15-18 years). The training consisted of six sessions and was conducted over two days. The results obtained from this study were that there was a significant increase and change in the integrating type (p = 0.027, p<0.05) and compromising (p = 0.021, p<0.05). While the other types, namely domination, avoiding, and obliging, did not experience significant changes. Through emotional intelligence training, participants will learn how to control emotions so that when faced with problems, participants can use appropriate conflict management to solve these problems.

This study is a descriptive correlational study which determined the impact of the utilization of financial resources on the development of school facilities and services for students and teachers. Teachers, Supreme Student Council (SSG) Officers, class mayors, student athletes, Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Officers, disbursing officer, bookkeeper and supply officer were the respondents of this study. They gave a reliable information regarding the utilization of financial resources. Findings revealed that Maintence and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE), Special Education Fund (SEF) and other financial resources were well implemented and the development they have given to the school facilities and services for students and teachers was very satisfactory. Effective utilization of MOOE increased the positive perceptions of the respondents about the welfare and development of school facilities and services for students and teachers in terms of academic achievement and other school performance indicators. Thus, MOOE and SEF should be utilized according to the approved budget where the teachers, PTA officers and School Governing Council (SGC) members will be part of the budget hearing. School administrators should involve all the teachers and some stakeholders in budget planning and implementation and should follow the budget specifications in planning and implementation to avoid diversion of funds.

Abstract Purpose: The increase in issues among high school students tends to form their character (unproductively) negatively, and a lack of understanding of religion and leadership is suspected to be contributing. In response to this phenomenon, this program aimed to deliver a leadership development program based on Islamic values to the management of LPP UMI Makassar’s OSIS board. Research Methodology: This internal community service method combines lecture, discussion, and evaluation approaches to achieve the best results. The evaluation technique is collected through questionnaires covering elements pertaining to Islamic leadership based on Nabi Muhammad SAW. This questionnaire was then issued to ascertain their level of comprehension of the material presented. This program attracted 27 students, representing 81.8 percent of the total student council board of SMA LPP UMI, Makassar. Results: The program’s findings indicated that participants better understood the concepts and attributes of leadership in the Islamic paradigm. In addition, the results also showed that the dimension of Sidiq’s character (honesty) has the highest average score (4.48), meaning that the students of LPP UMI Makassar consider honesty as the most important thing that leaders must have in the concept of Islam. Conclusion: This outcome is designed to instill an Islamic leadership attitude in SMA UMI’s student council students, enabling them to contribute positively to Indonesia in the future.

Abstract To find out the level of quality of service that has been given to consumers or their customers, student and community satisfaction as users of academic administration services waws used as an indicator. The student satisfaction surveys conducted in this study aims to know the level of Madura Trunojoyo University students’ satisfaction on the quality of academic administration services throughout the year 2021. This study used quantitative approach with survey method. The survey was carried out by making a closed questionnaire using Google form to investigate students’ satisfaction. The questionnaire were then distributed online to students who previously used academic administrative services of the academic bureau and the student council of the Madura Trunojoyo University in 2021. The obtained 100 respondents represented an entire population that used the academic administration services of the academic bureau and student affairs in 2021. Results obtained in this study suggest that the quality service variable, especially in Financial Administration Bureau, has a significant impact on the satisfaction of the student Trunojoyo Madura University. Abstrak Untuk mengetahui level kualitas servis yang diberikan kepada konsumen, kepuasan mahasiswa dan masyarakat, sebagai pengguna jasa administrasi akademik, digunakan sebagai sebuah indikator. Survei kepuasan mahasiswa pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa di Universitas Trunojoyo Madura pada kualitas jasa administrasi akademik, selama 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Survei dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner tertutup melalui Google Form untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa. Kuesioner tersebut kemudian didistribusikan secara daring kepada mahasiswa yang pernah menggunakan jasa layanan akademik dan dewan mahasiswa di Universitas Trunojoyo Madura pada 2021. Sebanyak 100 responden yang terkumpul mewakili seluruh populasi yang pernah menggunakan layanan biro akademik dan dewan mahasiswa pada 2021. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kualitas layanan, khususnya Biro Administrasi Keuangan, memiliki efek yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa Universitas trunojoyo Madura.

Abstract: This study aims to determine motivational factors and their influence on the loyalties of intern school student council members. This study is classified as quantitative research with multivariate correlational design. The results showed that: (1) the factors of motivation namely physiological needs, security, social, respect, and self-actualization; (2) factors that encourage loyalties namely membership and duties; (3) physiological needs in the high category, security needs in the high category, social needs in the high category, the need for rewards in the medium category, and the need for self-actualization in the high category, (4) membership in the medium category, and tasks in the high category; (5) there is an influence of motivation on loyalties; simultaneously there is an influence of motivational factors on membership factors, partially the motivational factors that influence the membership factors are the need for appreciation and self-actualization needs, simultaneously there is the influence of motivational factors on task factors, partially motivational factors that affect the task factor are social needs, appreciation needs, and self-actualization needs. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor motivasi dan pengaruhnya terhadap loyalitas Anggota OSIS. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain correlational multivariate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) faktor-faktor motivasi Anggota OSIS yaitu kebutuhan fisiologis, keamanan, sosial, penghargaan, dan aktualisasi diri; (2) faktor-faktor yang mendorong loyalitas yaitu keanggotaan dan tugas; (3) kebutuhan fisiologis dalam kategori tinggi, kebutuhan keamanan dalam kategori tinggi, kebutuhan sosial dalam kategori tinggi, kebutuhan penghargaan dalam kategori sedang, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri dalam kategori tinggi, (4) keanggotaan dalam kategori sedang, dan tugas dalam kategori tinggi; (5) terdapat pengaruh motivasi terhadap loyalitas; secara simultan terdapat pengaruh faktor-faktor motivasi terhadap faktor keanggotaan, secara parsial faktor motivasi yang berpengaruh terhadap faktor keanggotaan adalah kebutuhan penghargaan dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri, secara simultan terdapat pengaruh faktor-faktor motivasi terhadap faktor tugas, secara parsial faktor motivasi yang berpengaruh terhadap faktor tugas adalah kebutuhan sosial, kebutuhan penghargaan, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri.

<span>E</span><span>-voting is a tool to support the voting process starting from recording, voting, and counting votes using electronic devices. E-voting promises a faster voting process, reduced budget costs, lost votes due to damaged ballot papers during the voting process, and others. E-voting is also used in high school student council elections. Young people are more computer literate (computer literacy) and interested in using new technology (e-voting) than adults and older people. This study aims to determine the suitability of e-voting in the SMA OSIS election to the user's task support using the task-technology fit (TTF) model. The data analysis used is multiple regression analysis. This analysis is used to determine the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that the 4 formulated hypotheses can be accepted and the students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul feel the suitability of technology support when voting using e-voting in the selection of the high school student council.</span>

The number of corruption cases that occur in Indonesia is not sufficiently countered by repressive means. Preventive measures must also be synergized. The most appropriate effort is to instill anti-corruption values ​​in the younger generation, including high school students. The existence of the Student Council at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Tanjungpinang has an important role in grounding and implementing these values ​​in the school environment. This service was carried out by using the methods of lecturing, discussion, and brainstorming. The results show that the activity has succeeded in achieving its stated goals. This was evidenced by the enthusiasm and high response from the participants. In addition, OSIS SMA Negeri 2 Kota Tanjungpinang has been agreed to become an anti-corruption based OSIS. As astep first, the programs initiated in the discussion session were determined as part of the OSIS work program for SMA Negeri 2 Kota Tanjungpinang.
