 This study aims to describe the implementation of Project-Based Learning models in geography learning. The type of research is survey research. The subjects in this study were the teacher of geography, the deputy head of the curriculum, and the principal. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the form of Project-Based Learning implementation in learning geography with details: learning planning, learning implementation, and learning assessment. In learning planning is done by analyzing the contents of the 2013 curriculum content and learning design planning. Furthermore, the implementation of learning is done by determining the project, designing project completion steps, preparing project implementation schedules, completing projects, preparing reports, presenting project results, and evaluating project processes and results. Meanwhile, the assessment of learning is carried out on the aspect of attitude using observation techniques, self-assessment, and assessment between friends. Assessment of aspects of knowledge using written test techniques and assignments, as well as skills assessment using project results assessment techniques.

The traditional teaching of machinery manufacturing technology considers typical parts, such as the axial and box – the teaching carriers and focuses on explaining theoretical knowledge and cultivating the determining process capabilities but does not integrate the processability of the product structure, processing, measurement, or assembly of mechanical parts. This type of teaching is dissociated with the actual production process of mechanical products and does not meet the requirement for students to solve actual problems by using mechanical manufacturing technology. The course development concept of working process systematization was investigated, and the main work positions, typical work tasks, corresponding professional ability requirements of mechanical and equipment enterprises, and course objectives were analyzed. Three learning projects with progressive difficulty and six interrelated tasks were designed on the basis of creating typical mechanical products. Teaching was conducted according to an action-oriented, six-step method to realize the teaching mode of “doing in learning, learning in doing.” The results indicate that students and enterprises recognize the teaching design proposed in this study. The interest of students in learning was evidently increased, and their ability to solve practical production problems through a comprehensive application of professional knowledge was enhanced.

The advanced manufacturing technology of mechanical products features interaction, and high simulation, etc. In this paper, a digital geometry model for the processing is established with the aid of computer technology, so that the needs of machinery manufacturing production and precision machining can be fulfilled, and also the simulation, validation, comparison, and optimization of many plans can be implemented for ultimately finding out an optimal processing method and realizing the benefit of low cost and high quality. From two different levels of activity and parts, the configuration principle of mechanical products advanced manufacturing technology is defined. Therefore, the advanced manufacturing technology for customizing different products can be derived, and also the reuse of different types of parts is realized. Finally, this is verified with an example.

In recent years, with the rapid development of economy in Chinese society, the mechanical manufacturing technology is increasingly maturing and requirements for the product quality and product precision is becoming higher and higher, so the development of mechanical manufacturing technology and high precision machining technology has been widely concerned by the relevant departments. According to the actual development of the modern machinery manufacturing technology and the high precision machining technology, on the basis of the principle of mechanical manufacturing, the characteristics of mechanical manufacturing technology and high precision machining should be analyzed thoroughly, meanwhile, the performance of the mechanical manufacturing process and high precision machining technology should be improved, thus, it can provide more theoretical basis and technical guidance for the development of mechanical manufacturing industry.

The present research aims to investigate the implementation of project-based learning (PBL) in the ESP 21st-century education setting by using the Muvizu application that promotes students’ motivation to learn English together with ICT and hadith. Hence, the researcher carried out descriptive quantitative research at the Manajemen Dakwahdepartment of the State Islamic University Mataram by involving 132 students. The interview, observation and questionnaire were the instruments for gathering data. The resultsare as follows: first, students learned English, religion and ICT simultaneously; second, Muvizu PBL in English class had promoted students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation as well as integrative and instrumental motivations; third, the Muvizu PBL had depicted the expected 21st-century education classroom setting, competences and skills;fourth, good students’ responses and attitudes had raised the public’s interest to study at the department and university. Future researchesareexpected to discuss the most contributive factors that influence students’ motivation in asimilar learning design.   Keywords: ICT, Muvizu, motivation, project-based learning, 21st-century education;
