In this paper, we consider a delayed diffusive predator–prey model with Leslie–Gower term and herd behavior subject to Neumann boundary conditions. We are mainly concerned with the impact of time delay on the stability of this model. First, for delayed differential equations and delayed-diffusive differential equations, the stability of the positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation are investigated respectively. It is observed that when time delay continues to increase and crosses through some critical values, a family of homogeneous and inhomogeneous periodic solutions emerge. Then, the explicit formula for determining the stability and direction of bifurcating periodic solutions are also derived by employing the normal form theory and center manifold theorem for partial functional differential equations. Finally, some numerical simulations are shown to support the analytical results.

We investigate the fractional order love dynamic model with time delay for synergic couples in this manuscript. The quantitative analysis of the model has been done where the asymptotic stability of the equilibrium points of the model have been analyzed. Under the impact of time delay, the Hopf bifurcation analysis of the model has been done. The stability analysis of the model has been studied with the reproduction number less than or greater than 1. By using Laplace transformation, the analysis of the model has been done. The analysis shows that the fractional order model with a time delay can sufficiently improve the components and invigorate the outcomes for either stable or unstable criteria. In this model, all unstable cases are converted to stable cases under neighbourhood points. For all parameters, the reproduction ranges have been described. Finally, to illustrate our derived results numerical simulations have been carried out by using MATLAB. Under the theoretical outcomes from parameter estimation, the love dynamical system is verified.

Given the economic importance of advertising and product promotions, we have developed a diffusion model to describe the impact of advertising on sales. The main message of this study is to show the effect of advertising diffusion to convert potential buyers into actual customers which may result in persistent alteration in marketing over time. This work is devoted to studying the dynamic behavior of a reaction-diffusion model and its delayed version with the advertising effect. For the non-delay model, it is proven the existence of Hopf bifurcation. Moreover, the stability and direction of bifurcation of periodic solutions are detected. On the other hand, we consider there is a lag for responding of potential buyers to the advertising. Therefore, the time delay τ is deemed as an additional factor in the diffusion model. We have determined the critical values for the delay parameter that yield periodic solutions. Furthermore, the direction and the stability of bifurcating periodic solutions is studied. For supporting the theoretical analysis and demonstrate complex dynamic behaviors, numerical simulations including families of periodic curves are given.

AbstractThe development of COVID-19 vaccine is highly concerned by all countries in the world. So far, many kinds of COVID-19 vaccines have entered phase III clinical trial. However, it is difficult to deliver COVID-19 vaccines efficiently and safely to the areas affected by the epidemic. This paper focuses on vaccine transportation in a supply chain model composed of one distributor and one retailer (clinic or hospital), in which the distributor procures COVID-19 vaccines from the manufacturer and then resells them to the retailer. Distributor detects the activity level of the vaccines, and retailer is responsible for transportation of the vaccines. Firstly, we establish a difference equations model with time-delay. Secondly, we investigate the impact of time-delay on the stability of vaccine supply chain. In addition, we explore the influence of decision adjustment speed of the distributor (or retailer) on the stability of vaccine supply chain. Finally, we verify the theoretical results by a two-dimensional bifurcation diagram, the largest Lyapunov exponent, entropy, and domain of attraction. The results show that when the decision delay-time or the adjustment speed of decision variables exceeds a certain threshold, it brings a negative impact on the stability of vaccine supply chain system. The stability domain of the system shrinks as customers’ sensitivity to cold chain transportation decreases and by contrast expends as customers’ sensitivity to vaccine prices decreases. When the vaccine supply chain is in a state of chaos, the effect of external control over the system is superior to that of internal control over the system.

In this paper, a mathematical model to study the impact of Twitter in controlling infectious disease is proposed. The model includes the dynamics of “tweets” which may enhance awareness of the disease and cause behavioral changes among the public, thus reducing the transmission of the disease. Furthermore, the model is improved by introducing a time delay between the outbreak of disease and the release of Twitter messages. The basic reproduction number and the conditions for the stability of the equilibria are derived. It is shown that the system undergoes Hopf bifurcation when time delay is increased. Finally, numerical simulations are given to verify the analytical results.

A delayed predator–prey diffusion system with homogeneous Neumann boundary condition is considered. In order to study the impact of the time delay on the stability of the model, the delay τ is taken as the bifurcation parameter, the results show that when the time delay across some critical values, the Hopf bifurcations may occur. In particular, by using the normal form theory and the center manifold reduction for partial functional differential equations, the direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcated periodic solution have been established. The effect of the diffusion on the bifurcated periodic solution is also considered. A numerical example is given to support the main result.

SummaryCase reports cited in Medline or Biological Abstracts (1966-1996) were reviewed to evaluate the impact of vitamin K1 dietary intake on the stability of anticoagulant control in patients using coumarin derivatives. Reported nutrient-drug interactions cannot always be explained by the vitamin K1 content of the food items. However, metabolic data indicate that a consistent dietary intake of vitamin K is important to attain a daily equilibrium in vitamin K status. We report a diet that provides a stable intake of vitamin K1, equivalent to the current U.S. Recommended Dietary Allowance, using food composition data derived from high-performance liquid chromatography. Inconsistencies in the published literature indicate that prospective clinical studies should be undertaken to clarify the putative dietary vitamin K1-coumarin interaction. The dietary guidelines reported here may be used in such studies.

One of the main criteria for economic development is the size of the public debt and its dynamics. The article considers the impact of public debt on the financial security of Ukraine. The views of scientists on the essence of public debt and financial security of the state are substantiated. An analysis of the dynamics and structure of public debt of Ukraine for 2014-2019. It is proved that one of the main criteria for economic development is the size of public debt and its dynamics. State budget deficit, attracting and using loans to cover it have led to the formation and significant growth of public debt in Ukraine. The volume of public debt indicates an increase in the debt security of the state, which is a component of financial security. Therefore, the issue of the impact of public debt on the financial security of Ukraine is becoming increasingly relevant. The constant growth and large amounts of debt make it necessary to study it, which will have a positive impact on economic processes that will ensure the stability of the financial system and enhance its security.
