With the rapid development of information processing technology and continuously evolving technological hardware and software, the scale of spatial data has grown exponentially. This has necessitated that stricter requirements be placed on the way data is processed. The traditional single-machine centralized data processing method is gradually being replaced by the network-based cloud geographic information system (GIS) mode. However, the information processing method of the business system in the existing spatial information network environment is difficult to expand, which limits the application of the business system. This paper proposes an on-demand and extended model for the GIS data processing procedure that considers the three-way separation of algorithm development, business processes, and the operational interface, and can implement an on-demand expansion of business processes by process modeling the business and task scheduling the workflow engine. This can expand the scope of business systems and improve the efficiency of business system construction.

Legal reasoning is still insufficiently understood. Formalisations of legal reasoning have failed so far, due in particular to the non-consideration of societal and legal complexity. Thus, the network of co-operative reasoning and its compilation and analysis should be represented by an index of legal and fact concepts of a legal ontology. The Dynamic Electronic Legal Commentary (DynELCom) constitutes such a semantic description and analysis of the legal information system. Knowledge acquisition tools support the establishment and refinement of the extensive ontology. Since a first ontology exists in European law, international law and Austrian law, this chapter also presents early experiments on EU state aid law which show the feasibility of the approach. Next steps will be a deep refinement of the ontology and the development of a dialogue system.

Tracking difficulty generally exists in the traditional warehouse management mode in the business process, the turnover, low efficiency, logistics management information processing is not seasonable and means backward, thus affecting the competitiveness of enterprises, based on the analysis of traditional logistics warehousing management deficiencies, the great advantage of application of RFID technology in logistics field to solve the above problem. The logistics management information system based on RFID is analyzed, based on the traditional logistics business processes analysis, given the information and process structure of logistics business processes, and established a framework method storage business system based on RFID technology.

The characters of the Manufacturing Process Information System (MPIS) for industry-oriented are included here. The characters of the process and the difficulty faced for cable industry are summarized. Then, A model structure of MPIS for cable industry is established. Informacinių sistemų ir jų programinės įrangos kūrimo metodai turi leisti integruoti verslo, informacijos apdorojimo ir programinės įrangos komponentus ir taip eliminuoti programų sistemų teikiamų paslaugų atotrūkį nuo realių kompiuterizuojamos įmonės poreikių. Kai verslo sistema atmeta arba priešinasi naujai informacinei sistemai, vadinasi, yra netinkama ne kokia nors sudėtinė šios sistemos dalis, o visos sistemos logika, t. y. jos architektūra. Todėl pasirenkant perkamą sistemą ar kūrimometu priimant projektinius sprendimus turi būti atsižvelgiama, kad šios sistemos architektūra atitiktų verslo sistemos architektūrą. It is necessary to consider the alignment of business system architecture to information system architecture when purchasing the system or making design decisions in development stage. This paper analyses business and information systems integration problem, surveysthe architectural styles and architectural frames, which relate particular problem frames to relevant architectural style. The main purpose of this paper is to show that business and information systems integration problem includes the alignment of their architectures. The suggestions how to choose relevant architectural style for the particular information system are given, as well.

This paper analyses how to bridge the gap between business and supporting information system requirements. It is showed that solution of the problem depends on the analysis methodology of the enterprise system. Decomposition methods used during the analysis stage are discussed. The strategy how to formulate information system functional requirements, taking into account the business system model, is presented. Using the proposed strategy information system is decomposed to interacting components as well.

Database reverse engineering consists of recovering the abstract descriptions of files and databases of legacy information systems. A legacy information system can be defined as a “data-intensive application, such as [a] business system based on hundreds or thousands of data files (or tables), that significantly resists modifications and changes” (Brodie & Stonebraker, 1995). The objective of database reverse engineering is to recover the logical and conceptual descriptions, or schemas, of the permanent data of a legacy information system, that is, its database, be it implemented as a set of files or through an actual database management system.
