Glass lens molding is a high-volume fabrication method for producing optical components. In this paper, combined with the orthogonal test method and finite element method (FEM) simulation, the coupled thermo-mechanical analysis was carried out to analyze the key process factors. In order to reduce the testing time, an orthogonal test with three sets of level factors and three parameters is conducted to obtain the optimal molding process parameters. The result shows that the most significant parameter is molding velocity, the other effect parameters are molding temperature and friction coefficient. According to the previous analysis of orthogonal experiment, it is shown that the best optimal finishing process parameters were A2B1C1.

In order to obtain the optimal combination of process parameters for vertical-faced polypropylene bottle injection molding, with UG, the model of the bottle was drawn, and then, one module and sixteen-cavity injection molding system was established and analyzed using Moldflow. For filling and maintaining pressure during the process of infusion bottle injection molding, the orthogonal test table L25 (56) using CAE was designed for injection molding of the bottle, with six parameters such as melt temperature, mold temperature, injection pressure, injection time, dwell pressure, and dwell time as orthogonal test factors. By finding the best combination of process parameters, the orthogonal experiment was completed, the results were analyzed by range analysis, and the order of influence of each process parameter on each direction of optimization was obtained. The prediction dates of the infusion bottle were gained under various parameters, a comprehensive quality evaluation index of the bottle was formulated, and the multiobjective optimization problem of injection molding process was transformed into a single-objective optimization problem by the integrated weighted score method. The bottle parameters were optimized by analyzing the range date of the weighted scoring method, and the best parameter combination such as melt temperature 200°C, mold temperature 80°C, injection pressure 40 MPa, injection time 2.1 S, dwell pressure 40 MPa, and dwell time 40 S was gained.

According to the characteristic which is more and difficult to determine about the automotive panel forming factors, based on the dynamic explicit method, taking the typical automobile front fender for example, do the simulation analysis by using of DYNAFORM. On the premise of taking springback factors into account, analog the best stamping process parameters has been optimized from the analysis results after simulation such as sheet metal forming limited drawing(FLD)and sheet metal thinning drawing.

Abstract. Now the largeness of circumferential belt and 2 poles in ball billet after cold upsetting process and the consequently low material utilization ratio increase the following process time and cause a great waste. In order to obtain low allowance of ball billet, high material utilization ratio and productivity, through the research of the cold upsetting process, evaluating indicator including plumpness, roundness, cold upsetting force and volume was established, orthogonal test was designed. By the Deform simulation analysis the optimum process parameters was obtained. The results show that the optimized cold upsetting force is reduced by 35%. So the optimized process parameters has a great application value.

The selection and optimization of screw rolling ball process parameters were analyzed and discussed. The inner stress of ball is the major factor that affects the ball quality during screw rolling of ball. The inner stress is apt to be affected by other related process parameters. In practical, there is no specific measure to determine the parameters. In view of this situation, the influences of roller obliquity, rolling temperature, speed of roller and the outlet distance between guide boards and other parameters on the inner stress of ball were analyzed respectively through orthogonal test. The optimal combination of parameters was found through comparative study on several parameter combinations.

Abstract We investigated the process parameters of the high temperature MOCVD (HT-MOCVD) numerical model for the AlN growth based on CFD simulation using orthogonal test design. It is believed that high temperature growth condition is favorable for improving efficiency and crystallization quality for AlN film, while the flow field in the HT-MOCVD reactor is closely related to the process parameters, which will affect the uniformity of the film. An independently developed conceptual HT-MOCVD reactor was established for the AlN growth to carry out the CFD simulation. To evaluate the role of the parameters systematically and efficiently on the growth uniformity, the process parameters based on CFD simulation were analyzed using orthogonal test design. The advantages of the range, matrix and variance methods were considered and the results were analyzed comprehensively and the optimal process parameters were obtained as follows, susceptor rotational speed 400 rpm, operating pressure 40 Torr, gas flow rate 50 slm, substrate temperature 1550 K.
