Background:The Virgen Macarena University Hospital belongs to the Public Health System of Andalusia and serves 481,296 inhabitants in Seville, Spain. In 2018 the Fracture Liaison Service switched to a multidisciplinary unit.Objectives:To describe FLS, to know the characteristics of patients with emphasis on gender differences and to know the completion of International Osteoporosis Foundation quality standards.Methods:Prospective, observational, analytical, research of usual clinical practice. All the consecutive patients attended from May 2018 to October 2019, ≥50 years, with a fragility fracture (occurred in the previous 24 months) were included. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee, Code 1084-N-16.Results:Our FLS is a type A multidisciplinary Unit, with a high level of intervention in the evaluation, estimation of fracture risk and fall risk, treatment prescription and follow-up of the patients. We included 408 patients, 80% females, one third with ≥80 years. Fragility fractures recorded in 328 women were hip (132, 40%), clinical vertebral (81, 25%) and no hip no vertebral (115, 35%). Those recorded in 82 males were hip (53, 66%), clinical vertebral (20, 24%) and no hip no vertebral (9, 10%), p=0.0001. Males had a higher rate of secondary causes of OP, drinker, and smoking. The most relevant gender difference was the low percentage of patients receiving pre-FF OP treatment. Forty-nine (16%) women versus 9 (7%) males had received it at some point in their life, p=0.04. Two hundred and seventy-one (86%) women vs 48 males (63%) had received it at after their FF in their reference unit, and all them were treated after the FLS evaluation. The probability of a male not receiving prior treatment was 2.5 (95% CI 1.01- 6.51); p=0,04. This probability was 0.64 (0.38-1.09) after the FF. After twelve months of follow-up in FLs, 96% continued treatment, with no differences between men and women. The completion of IOF quality standards was bad (red light) for patient identification items and FLS reference time. It was poor (amber traffic light) for initial OP screening standard and was good (green light) for the remaining 10 indicators. Vehicular networks is a key technology for efficiently communicating both user’s devices and cars for timely information regarding safe driving conditions and entertaining applications like social media, video streaming, and gaming services, among others. In view of this, mobile communications making use of cellular resources may not be an efficient and cost-effective alternative. In this context, the implementation of light-fidelity (LiFi) in vehicular communications could be a low-cost, high-data-rate, and efficient-bandwidth usage solution. In this work, we propose a mathematical analysis to study the average throughput in a road intersection equipped with a traffic light that operates as a server, which is assumed to have LiFi communication links with the front lights of the vehicles waiting for the green light. We further assume that the front vehicle (the car next to the traffic light) is able to communicate to the car immediately behind it by using its own tail lights and the front lights of such vehicle, and so on and so forth. The behavior of the road junction is modeled by a Markov chain, applying the Queueing theory with an M/M/1 system in order to obtain the average queue length. Then, Little’s theorem is applied to calculate the average waiting delay when the red light is present in the traffic light. Finally, the mathematical expression of the data throughput is derived.


KS Tubun Street is a street in Bogor, which has a fairly high vehicle volume and become one of a high-traffic jam area. This is caused by KS Tubun Street is the main road for road users from Jakarta and Bogor. Traffic jam problem that occurs due to the confluence interchange of traffic flow and traffic lights settings that are not proportional to the volume of vehicles across the road. Optimization of traffic flow at KS Tubun Street performed by the stages of forming a model of traffic flow, determining the density and velocity of the vehicle is based on the Greenberg model, and determining the length of the traffic lights to avoid a buildup of vehicles. The result is a traffic flow model with distance and time parameters. The density of vehicles that occurs on the streets of KS. Tubun street based on the Greenberg model between 180 to 240 unit car of passanger (ucp) with the average velocity of vehicles 15 to 19.5 km per hour. The density of vehicles on KS. Tubun street can be break down by increasing time. Traffic light cycle time can be reduced for 8 seconds with the red light glowing time is 80 seconds and the green light glowing time is 62 seconds.

Abstract Lean is an endless journey to develop and excel the business. Any company would like to build and deal with the whole world pace should adopt lean. Though, in the vast majority of the companies the management philosophy or mentality of people is not so great to adopt change. Lean typically deals with superior quality, lowest cost and quicker lead time. Lean Supply chain technology in the traffic control system has supplied intelligent green interval responses to control the incapability of standard fixed traffic controllers. The researchers have implemented the technology of lean supply chain to boost up the performance of traffic light and control the traffic jam. The limitations of traditional passing vehicles have been solved by the set of rules. The two set of guidance have been monitored the traffic light system by dynamic system; the vehicle, upstream and downstream lane follows red light and the number of vehicles have passed through a green light. These kinds of vehicles have dynamically controlled the timing of red and green. The dynamic traffic controller and a fixed time controller have shown the differences in performance through the Lean supply chain theory. The researchers have compared and stimulate the data of the performance of their algorithm with the undeveloped one. The results have shown that the algorithm has much better than undeveloped one, because it increases the traffic efficiency and decreases the waiting time by 45 minutes.


We have proposed the enhancement of Traffic Light Controller utilizing ultrasonic sensor and microcontroller. The Paper is planned for structuring a thickness based dynamic traffic signal framework where the planning of signal will change consequently on detecting the traffic density at any road junction. Traffic jams are an extreme issue in many urban areas over the world and thusly the time has come to move progressively manual mode or fixed clock mode to a robotized framework with choice making abilities. Present day traffic control framework is fixed time based which may render wasteful on the off chance that one path is operational than the others. To solve this issue, we have made a structure for a clever traffic control system. Some of the time higher traffic density at one side of the intersection requires longer green light time when compared with standard green light time. We, consequently propose here a component where the time of green light and red light is allotted based on the thickness of the traffic present around then. This is accomplished by utilizing ultrasonic sensors which are available on Top of the street.Sometime, in specific intersection of the street junctions extended periods of Red Traffic Light. In instance of any vehicle in crisis circumstance or on the other hand in emergency like VVIPs,a SMS is send to Traffic Control Authority, who has the control of microcontroller empowers microcontroller to change traffic light green for specific time on need premise.

This case involved a fatal collision between a police vehicle (operated by a police officer) and a non-police vehicle (operated by a civilian). With lights and sirens activated, the officer in pursuit ran a red light and crashed into the civilian’s vehicle in an intersection whose traffic light controller included an emergency vehicle preemption system. The civilian driver was mortally injured, and died the next day. The estate of the deceased driver sued the police officer, municipal police department, and manufacturer of the emergency vehicle preemption system. The author was retained by counsel for the estate of the deceased to assist in the case against the manufacturer of the emergency vehicle preemption system and municipality. The evidence showed that the preemption system was working properly, but that the system’s confirmation lights had been improperly programmed. A maximum speed was calculated at which a preempted green light for emergency drivers would be assured. Event logs in the police vehicle showed that the police officer was driving too fast for the traffic light controller to cycle through its sequence before the officer reached the intersection.

Pedestrians represent the most vulnerable category of participants in traffic. More and more complex traffic conditions in cities across Europe, and therefore BiH, threaten traffic to become a challenge for pedestrians, and pedestrians often experience traffic as a challenge. Studies of behavior of pedestrians at signalized pedestrian crossings conclude that there is a high level of insecurity and a high percentage of unsafe crossings by pedestrians. Timers that add pedestrian signals indicate the length of the red light, the remaining time to the beginning of the green light for the safe crossing of pedestrians across the street. This paper analyzes the effect of the countdown pedestrian signals - CPSs in different weather conditions, ie the comparison of pedestrian behavior (switching to red light) without CPSs and with CPSs in different weather conditions (sun, snow, rain, no precipitation with a temperature of 0 degrees) was performed. The paper analyzes a traffic light pedestrian crossing over the road that consists of four traffic lanes in Banja Luka, BiH.

Background: Hip and groin problems are just as common in ice hockey as they are in soccer. The 5-second squeeze test (5SST) is a valid indicator of hip- and groin-related sporting function (self-reported function) in soccer and is suggested to be interpreted according to a “traffic light” approach in guiding the early identification and management of affected players. It is currently unknown how the 5SST relates to self-reported function and muscle strength in ice hockey players. Purpose: To investigate correlations between the 5SST result, self-reported function, and hip muscle strength in ice hockey players. A further aim was to investigate the discriminative ability of the “traffic light” approach (numeric rating scale [NRS] score: 0-2 = green, 3-5 = yellow, 6-10 = red) regarding levels of self-reported function and strength. Study Design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: Professional and semiprofessional male ice hockey players (N = 333) performed the 5SST and completed the Sport subscale of the Copenhagen Hip and Groin Outcome Score (HAGOS). Bilateral adduction and abduction strength was measured using handheld dynamometry. Associations were estimated using Spearman rank-order correlations, and groups were compared using the Kruskal-Wallis test or analysis of variance. Standardized effect sizes (ESs) for differences in strength (Hedges g) and self-reported function ( r) were provided. Results: The 5SST result was significantly correlated with self-reported function (rho, –0.319; P < .01) and hip muscle strength (rho, –0.157 to –0.305; P < .01). The HAGOS Sport scores differed significantly between all 3 traffic light groups (ES, 0.23-0.33; P ≤ .005). Players with an NRS score >2 (yellow or red light) had lower adduction (ES ≥ 0.75; P < .001) and abduction strength (yellow: ES, 0.30; P = .031) (red: ES, 0.51; P = .058) than players with a green light. Conclusion: The 5SST result was significantly correlated with self-reported function as well as hip muscle strength and was able to discriminate between the traffic light levels in ice hockey players. Players with a yellow or red light had reduced adduction and abduction strength compared with players with a green light (NRS score ≤2). Routine 5SSTs may allow the early identification of affected ice hockey players and indicate yellow and red light situations, in which players may benefit from load management and appropriate hip muscle strengthening.

ABSTRACTThe research method includes several stages, namely data retrieval from DISHUBKOMINFO, namely the red and green light duration data at the Majestik intersection, transforming the intersection with the current into a graph, coloring each node in the graph using the Welch-Powell algorithm. Based on the calculation of the level of effectiveness of the total duration of the secondary data traffic arrangement with the new data at the Majestik intersection, it can be seen that at the interval of 15.00 - 20.00 the effectiveness of the green light duration increases by 6.81% and the red light duration decreases by 26.01% vehicle concentration is low. An autistic is a child of his own world. They experience interference in verbal and nonverbal language. Therapy given to children with autism is one of the right treatments to help them understand the right language and behavior. This study aims to describe the form and function of speech acts, speech action strategies, speech act selection, and achievement of therapist's "tactile" speech acts in clinical interventions for autistic children using the red light, green light play method. This study uses a qualitative approach with a clinical pragmatic approach. The results of the study are as follows. First, the clinical intervention therapist for children with autism uses a simple type of directive action and consists of one word, namely commanding speech, inviting / encouraging, rejecting / prohibiting, asking, and agreeing as well as expressive speech acts, namely expressions of praise and gratitude. Second, the therapist's language action strategy is a direct speech strategy by calling, giving instructions, and using visuals or models. Third, the therapy chooses speech acts using the S.P.E.A.K.I.N.G component with the help of PEC or compic media for effective communication. Fourth, therapists use speech acts that are accompanied by facial expressions, intonations, pats on the child's body so that children with autism are more focused and understand the purpose of communication.
