Let [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] be groups where [Formula: see text] acts on [Formula: see text] by automorphisms. We say “the action of[Formula: see text] on[Formula: see text] is good” if the equality [Formula: see text] holds for any subgroup [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text] and for any [Formula: see text]-invariant subgroup [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text]. It is straightforward that every coprime action is a good action. In this work, we extend some results due to Ward, Gross, Shumyatsky, Jabara and Meng and Guo under coprime action to good action.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, on-site Incident Commander (IC) practical training and examinations in Sweden were canceled as of March 2020. The graduation of one IC class was, however, conducted through Remote Virtual Simulation (RVS), the first such examination to our current knowledge. This paper presents the necessary enablers for setting up RVS and its influence on cognitive aspects of assessing practical competences. Data were gathered through observations, questionnaires, and interviews from students and instructors, using action-case research methodology. The results show the potential of RVS for supporting higher cognitive processes, such as recognition, comprehension, problem solving, decision making, and allowed students to demonstrate whether they had achieved the required learning objectives. Other reported benefits were the value of not gathering people (imposed by the pandemic), experiencing new, challenging incident scenarios, increased motivation for applying RVS based training both for students and instructors, and reduced traveling (corresponding to 15,400 km for a class). While further research is needed for defining how to integrate RVS in practical training and assessment for IC education and for increased generalizability, this research pinpoints current benefits and limitations, in relation to the cognitive aspects and in comparison, to previous examination formats.

ABSTRAKPerilaku peduli lingkungan masih sangat minim, termasuk di kalangan siswa. Salah satu upaya untuk membentuk perilaku peduli lingkungan di kalangan siswa yaitu melalui penerapan program Adiwiyata melalui pendidikan formal pada semua jenjang sekolah. Permasalahannya, penerapan program Adiwiyata yang telah dilakukan ternyata belum menjamin terbentuknya perilaku peduli lingkungan warga sekolah. Atas dasar deksripsi tersebut, maka tujuan dari penelitian yaitu menganalisis hubungan Adiwiyata dalam upaya pembentukan perilaku peduli lingkungan, ditinjau dari aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil riset di sekolah yang sudah Adiwiyata menunjukkan sebesar 48% siswa tingkat pengetahuannya tinggi, 99% siswa mempunyai sikap baik terhadap lingkungan, dan 79% siswa mempunyai tindakan baik terhadap lingkungan. Adapun sekolah yang belum Adiwiyata, sebesar 33% siswa tingkat pengetahuannya tinggi, 99% siswa mempunyai sikap baik terhadap lingkungan, dan 76% siswa mempunyai tindakan baik terhadap lingkungan. Dengan demikian terdapat hubungan antara penerapan Adiwiyata dengan pembentukan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan di kalangan siswa.Kata kunci: Adiwiyata, perilaku peduli lingkungan, pengetahuan, sikap, tindakanABSTRACTBehavior of environmental awareness is still low, even among students. One effort to create behavior of environmental awareness among students through Adiwiyata program, which is integrate in formal education at all, levels of school. The problem is, application of Adiwiyata program can’t guarantee to create behavior awareness. Based on that descriptions, purpose of this study is to evaluate implementation of Adiwiyata program, comparing student’s behavior in two different school, and to analyze the relationship between Adiwiyata and behavior of environmental awareness from three aspect, knowledge, attitude, and action. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result showed, Adiwiyata school have 48% students with high knowledge, 99%  students with good attitudes, and 79%  students with good action toward environment. In other hand, non Adiwiyata school have 33% students with high knowledge, 99%  students with good attitudes, and 76%  students with good action toward environment. This discussion opens with a puzzling statement from the analects of Confucius: When you know it you know it, when you don’t know, you don’t know. This is knowledge. Reflecting on various Chinese approaches to zhi (知), knowing/knowledge, in this article we re-explore the terrain we two authors covered together in recent research on minority nationality medical systems of southwestern China. Our itineraries drew us near to ‘folk’ approaches to knowing, evident both in practical medical work and in classic written sources. We found ourselves in that frictional field of medicine where expertise is not just possession of knowledge, it is also skills, politics, ethics, manipulations, ideologies, and more than one set of ontological assumptions. Reminded of some ancient Chinese metaphysical philosophy, we were led by healers to conclude that knowing and good action cannot be separated. The article reports visits to three mountain herbalists, describing the particular ways they practice knowing and use their expertise to treat difficult disorders. On the road through a mostly unknowable world, such Chinese healers expect transformations in both those who know and in what can be known and enacted. These lives teach us how to know not through concepts but through the irreducible patterning of life.

Let $G$ be a topological group, let $\unicode[STIX]{x1D719}$ be a continuous endomorphism of $G$ and let $H$ be a closed $\unicode[STIX]{x1D719}$-invariant subgroup of $G$. We study whether the topological entropy is an additive invariant, that is, $$\begin{eqnarray}h_{\text{top}}(\unicode[STIX]{x1D719})=h_{\text{top}}(\unicode[STIX]{x1D719}\restriction _{H})+h_{\text{top}}(\bar{\unicode[STIX]{x1D719}}),\end{eqnarray}$$ where $\bar{\unicode[STIX]{x1D719}}:G/H\rightarrow G/H$ is the map induced by $\unicode[STIX]{x1D719}$. We concentrate on the case when $G$ is totally disconnected locally compact and $H$ is either compact or normal. Under these hypotheses, we show that the above additivity property holds true whenever $\unicode[STIX]{x1D719}H=H$ and $\ker (\unicode[STIX]{x1D719})\leq H$. As an application, we give a dynamical interpretation of the scale $s(\unicode[STIX]{x1D719})$ by showing that $\log s(\unicode[STIX]{x1D719})$ is the topological entropy of a suitable map induced by $\unicode[STIX]{x1D719}$. Finally, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the equality $\log s(\unicode[STIX]{x1D719})=h_{\text{top}}(\unicode[STIX]{x1D719})$ to hold.

Is it legitimate to use discriminatory policies to achieve equality? As official support for reverse discrimination or affirmative action policies becomes more common among member states of the European Union, so does the potential for legal challenge. Yet no clear answer has yet been given by the European Court of Justice. The controversial European Court of Justice decision in Kalanke, striking down an affirmative action policy, was followed only two years later by that in Marschall, which signalled a significant change in approach to affirmative action policies. This change of attitude is likely to be tested in a variety of different ways in the near future. The next affirmative action case, Badeck, is now awaiting the opinion of the Advocate General, and a Swedish case is waiting in the wings. Both these cases are likely to take the Court into far stormier waters than those already traversed in Kalanke and Marschall.

The goal of this graduating paper is to know how the unconsciousness minds and habits linking to each other. It discusses the mind that triggers characters behavior in the Charlie and Chocolate Factory. The writer focuses on the children who get the golden tickets and the owner of the Chocolate Factory (Mr. Willy Wonka).According to Willbur S Scott with his Psychoanalysis Theory on Fictitious Characters, he stated that we can look further about the pattern which motivates the character to express something. It helps the present writer to analyze deeper, by identifying the showed which were done by the children in Roald Dahl’s Charlie and Chocolate Factory.After carying out the research, it shows that their (the five lucky children and Mr. Willy Wonka) subconscious mind triggers bad action which expelled the children from the chocolate factory and good action which made Charlie the champion.
