The principal objective of this paper is to demonstrate the capability of high speed measurement and acquisition equipment design and build in the laboratory at a very low cost. The presented architecture employees highly integrated market components eliminating thus the complexity of the hardware and software stack. The key element of the proposed system is a Hi-Speed USB to Serial/FIFO development module that is provided with full software and driver support for most popular operating systems. This module takes over every single task needed to get the data from the A/D to the user software gluelessly and transparently, solving this way the most difficult problem in data acquisition systems which is the fast and reliable communication with a host computer. Other ideas tested and included in this document offer Hall Effect measuring solutions using some excellent features and very low cost ICs widely available on the market today.

AlGaAs/GaAs heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) high speed ICs have been paving the way for the most sophisticated fiber-optic communication systems since the late 1980s. Recently 20 Gbps HBT ICs have been developed to accommodate the emergence of optical fiber amplifiers. HBT technology is now proceeding towards the development of 40 Gbps systems where the lack of high speed measurement system remains an issue.

An in-line all-fiber measurement system for polarization parameters is designed and fabricated in this paper. This system implements accurate control of polarization state, together with in-line, accurate, and high-speed measurement of Stokes vector. It can measure the light polarization parameters such as States of Polarization (SOP), Degree of Polarization (DOP), Light Polarization Extinction Ratio (LPER), and related losses of polarization. Besides, polarization monitoring and stabilizing can be achieved using this system. Because there is no discrete device concluded, the optical path of this system is completely constituted by optical fiber, which makes the entire system low-cost, with small size and low insertion loss. Keywords: All-fiber, polarization control, polarization measurement, in-line system, Stokes vector

Water rockets have become one of learning tools for STEM Education in schools. Generally water rockets make in school activity have no parachute load, altitude, and velocity measurement. Rocket can go any direction and also will cause hard collision to the ground that break the high speed rocket. It will take time and need more cost to make a new one for students. This study propose the low cost NodeMcu based water rocket measurement system to solve the problem. Altitude and velocity measurement are added and deployment system to release the parachute to make water rocket fall to the ground smoothly. Smartphone application used to monitor altitude and velocity of water rocket. Variables consist of water volume and air pressure. Five experiments had been conducted and recorded. The result found that the system could calculate Altitude, Velocity, and Deployment System also could release the parachute automatically in Coasting Descent position.

A versatile measurement system for systematic testing and measurement of the evolution of theI-Vcharacteristic curves of photovoltaic panels or arrays (PV generators) is proposed in this paper. The measurement system uses a circuit solution based on DC-DC converters that involves several advantages relative to traditional methods: simple structure, scalability, fast response, and low cost. The measurement of the desired characteristics of PV generators includes high speed of response and high fidelity. The prototype system built is governed by a microcontroller, and experimental results prove the proposed measurement system useful. A virtual instrument (VI) was developed for full system control from a computer. The developed system enables monitoring the suitable operation of a PV generator in real time, since it allows comparing its actual curves with those provided by the manufacturer.

Instantaneous speed measurement system can accurately measure the rotating target and realize the rotation direction judgment. It plays a very important role in industrial applications, as monitoring or controlling the rotation speed of transmitter, motor, turbine. With the development of technology, a modern speed measurement system is demanded to be intelligent, high integration, high precision, high reliability, and low cost etc. Based on the large number of literatures, this paper is a comprehensive review of the principle and application of domestic and foreign mature technology of rotation speed measurement method at present. Through the systematic classification, relationship between the different speed measurements is revealed, and the advantages and disadvantages of different measuring sensor are presented, so that readers can choose reasonable speed measurement method depending on the application, the actual measurement requirements and the test purposes.

Various operating systems (OS) with numerous functions and features have appeared over time. As a result, they know how each OS has been implemented guides users' decisions on configuring the OS on their machines. Consequently, a comparative study of different operating systems is needed to provide specifics on the same and variance in novel types of OS to address their flaws. This paper's center of attention is the visual operating system based on the OS features and their limitations and strengths by contrasting iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems. Linux, Android, and Windows 10 are more stable, more compatible, and more reliable operating systems. Linux, Android, and Windows are popular enough to become user-friendly, unlike other OSs, and make more application programs. The firewalls in Mac OS X and Windows 10 are built-in. The most popular platforms are Android and Windows, specifically the novelist versions. It is because they are low-cost, dependable, compatible, safe, and easy to use. Furthermore, modern developments in issues resulting from the advent of emerging technology and the growth of the cell phone introduced many features such as high-speed processors, massive memory, multitasking, high-resolution displays, functional telecommunication hardware, and so on.
