Modern companies wish to utilize business intelligence (BI) to track and analyze their courses of action. Many BI applications serve this purpose at many levels, starting from documenting and charting and ending with analytics and decision support systems, which are considered a sufficient complement to consultancy and management resources. However, the contemporaneous BI software is missing two functionalities. First, although nearly all applications of the same genre use almost identical concepts, there is no unified application programming interface (API) to enable interaction. The second problem is a consequence of the first issue. Without a unified API, BI applications cannot be integrated, eliminating any possibility of establishing universal platforms for BI distributed services. Lacking these two functionalities makes developers reinvent the wheel with each new implementation. To solve these problems, we propose a platform running a multiagent business intelligence system. This system empowers the available BI resources to serve a larger segment of the BI end-user applications cooperatively. To build this system, we propose a unified model that enables distributive agent-based tasking and cooperative interaction. This allows researchers to cooperate in spreading the multiagent platform’s functionality and helps them proceed toward more detailed analysis considering agents’ construction. Moreover, it will enable BI service providers to cooperatively implement new applications and develop better solutions while maintaining a functional end-user program.

One of the most popular social media platforms, Twitter is used by millions of people to share information, broadcast tweets, and follow other users. Twitter is an open application programming interface and thus vulnerable to attack from fake accounts, which are primarily created for advertisement and marketing, defamation of an individual, consumer data acquisition, increase fake blog or website traffic, share disinformation, online fraud, and control. Fake accounts are harmful to both users and service providers, and thus recognizing and filtering out such content on social media is essential. This study presents a new approach to detect fake Twitter accounts using ontology and Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL) rules. SWRL rules-based reasoner is utilized under predefined rules to infer whether the profile is trust or fake. This approach achieves a high detection accuracy of 97%. Furthermore, ontology classifier is an interpretable model that offers straightforward and human-interpretable decision rules.

Notably, not all telematics services can be used in telematics terminals as a result of the varied platform standards. The main issues are that most telematics technologies depend on vertical, proprietary and closed per-OEM Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) platforms, forming islands of non-interoperable technology and preventing third-party service providers from creating valuable services. In this study, the Open Gateway Service Initiative Vehicle Expert Group (OSGi/VEG) was integrated into an Android platform to generate a vehicular Android/OSGi platform that has the advantages of both original platforms, such as remote management, rich class sharing, proprietary vehicular applications, security policies, easy management of application programming interface (APIs), and an environment with increased openness. Furthermore, this study integrates the cloud computing mechanism into the Android/OSGi platform, which allows service providers to upload their telematics bundles onto storage clouds via the provisioning server.

This paper critically investigates the ethical perspectives and practices of individuals and organizations who make persuasive technologies (“persuasive technologists”). An organization that claims to be at the forefront of ethical persuasion is behavioral software company Boundless Mind. Yet Boundless Mind sells ostensibly oxymoronic software products: an Application Programming Interface for third-party applications that optimizes the capture of end user attention, and an application for end users on how to make third-party applications less persuasive. Drawing upon Foucault’s interpretation of ethics as an “aesthetics of existence” and the related concept of “therapeutic authority,” I argue Boundless Mind justify the “poaching” and “protecting” of user attention based on a view of the human subject as fixable and their capability to instrumentalize user subjectivity to socially desirable ends. I walkthrough Boundless Mind’s technology-habit-breaking application Space and highlight a behavioral technique administered by Space called stimulus devaluation, which enables the user to develop a transformative relationship with their technology habits and persuasive applications. I conclude the paper by arguing that a persuasive technology ethics based on fixing the user obfuscates the power of persuasive technologists by limiting the scope of ethical inquiry to the activities of the user.

Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept where all products can interact with each other to help human activities by utilizing the internet. The IoT system can help solve problems such as the schedule-based retrieval system at a temporary shelter in Indonesia. This paper creates a web-based geographic information system along with the IoT-based waste temporary shelter prototype. The prototype also integrated with an Arduino Microcontroller so that it can sort the waste automatically into three types of waste, then record data in the form of height and weight, and send the results of the data to the database so that the geographic information system can display the results of the data. Node-RED serves as an Application Programming Interface (API) that sends data from the server to the database belonging to a web-based geographic information system. The results of the performance analysis are that the prototype has sorted waste well, and the system also produced good QoS by ETSI standards when looking at the network traffic from the MQTT server to the database, and from the end-user to the web. As for the QoE results for tools and systems have produced good results according to the ITU-T standard.

Since the smartphone android as open technology was found, the Users can take some advantages from Google’s map service which is exist in the application to build the applications service. API direction can using HTTP to determine the location of the inter-view destination, mileage and road routes that can be passed either as a text string or as a latitude or longitude that can be implemented through a Google map.By using this direction google map service, API, can be used this service to create a searching application service to search the houses of worship. Besides used  for knowing generally the houses of worship that exist around the Yogyakarta city, the determination of the shortest path is needed because in this life people often travel from one place to another by considering the efficiency of time, mileage and expenses.Searching service of the houses of worship is existed in the application, it can be tested in various service providers through the internet and GPS signal strength which is optimal enough to obtain the shortest distance with the direction on the map and with a percentage accuracy of the average distance between Google on the map with the actual distance of 99%.

This study aims to determine the stages that must be implemented in building a Business Intelligence System structured and appropriate in building Business Intelligence Systems in an organization, and understand the important aspects that must be considered for investment development Business Intelligence System is increasing. Business must be based on the conditions and needs of the organization in achieving the desired goals. If these conditions occur, then the decision-making process will be better and more accurate. The purpose of this study is to determine the important aspects that must be understood and prepared in using the Business Intelligence System in an organization. The method used is the explanation as well as the research library of several books, articles and other literature.
