The rapid urbanization process has brought many pollution NIMBY facilities, and the associated pollution NIMBY conflicts have become one of the important factors restricting social stability. With the advent of the media era, new media has become the main channel for the public to recognize risks and master information, which greatly aggravates the social amplification effect of NIMBY conflict risk. In this case, it is of great significance to explore the interest relationship among the local government, the new media, and the local people and their roles in the NIMBY conflict. Based on the stakeholder theory, this paper constructs a three-party evolutionary game model of the local government, the new media, and the local people and carries out numerical simulation on the evolutionary model using MATLAB. The results show that the local government adopts a certain degree of regulatory strategy for the new media, the new media adopts the strategy of publicizing facts, and the local people adopts the strategy of nonresistance, which are the stable strategy points of the evolutionary game among the three stakeholders in the NIMBY conflict. The local government’s intervention in rumors to a certain extent is conducive to promoting the new media to publicize facts of the pollution NIMBY facilities and to restrain the local people’s choice of resistance strategies. The local government’s punishment to the new media spreading rumors should be kept above a certain level to restrain the new media spreading rumors. When the local people’s resistance reaches a certain level, the local government’s intervention will break down and the new media will become hyperactive. The results of this paper can provide some enlightenment for the stakeholders in pollution NIMBY conflicts and deepen the understanding of multiple interest conflicts and their resolution. Finally, this study proposes to build information sharing mechanism, information communication mechanism, trust mechanism, network governance mechanism, and public participation mechanism, so as to resolve the construction risk of pollution NIMBY facilities and improve the overall social welfare level.

As a whole become a local potency has owned opportunity to elevate the welfare especially local people. The activity of training as a online marketing media is expected giving effect to buy and sale of efficient marketing by using e-commerce will show the ease on transaction, reduce cost and accelerate transaction process. This activity is expected to increase the respectfulness of batik craft activity by local people particularly as one of the icon in Purworejo.

Public health emergencies are more related to the safety and health of the public. For the management of the public health emergencies, all parties’ cooperation is the key to preventing and controlling the emergencies. Based on the assumption of bounded rationality, we formulate a tripartite evolutionary game model, involving the local government, the enterprises, and the public, for the public health emergency, e.g., COVID-19. The evolutionary stable strategies under different conditions of the tripartite evolutionary game are explored, and the effect from different factors on the decision-makings of participants for public health emergencies is also analyzed. Numerical analysis results show that formulating reasonable subsidy measures, encouraging the participation of the public, and enforcing the punishment to enterprises for their negative behaviors can prompt three parties to cooperate in fighting against the epidemic. Our work enriches an understanding of the governance for the public health emergency and provides theoretical support for the local government and related participants to make proper decisions in public health emergencies.

Despite the expectation that social media use in the public sector contributes to enhancing government's transparency, few studies have been investigated whether social media use actually leads to more disclosure during environmental incidents in practice and how social media influence local governments and their officials' information disclosure. In this article, we model information disclosure during environmental incidents as an evolutionary game process between the central government and local government in social media context, and examine the internal mechanism that how social media influence the progress of information disclosure during environmental incidents. The findings indicate that social media plays an active constructive role in central-local government game relations. Specific- ally, social media can provides an efficient information channels for the central government supervise regional officials in environmental incidents, and thus improves its supervision efficiency, and it also provides an important means for internet mobilization and online-offline interaction by encouraging the public exchange information and express their views, and in turn forces local governments and their officials tend to disclosure ahead.

Heterogeneity is a hallmark of all cancers. Tumor heterogeneity is found at different levels — interpatient, intrapatient, and intratumor heterogeneity. All of them pose challenges for clinical treatments. The latter two scenarios can also increase the risk of developing drug resistance. Although the existence of tumor heterogeneity has been known for two centuries, a clear understanding of its origin is still elusive, especially at the level of intratumor heterogeneity (ITH). The coexistence of different subpopulations within a single tumor has been shown to play crucial roles during all stages of carcinogenesis. Here, using concepts from evolutionary game theory and public goods game, often invoked in the context of the tragedy of commons, we explore how the interactions among subclone populations influence the establishment of ITH. By using an evolutionary model, which unifies several experimental results in distinct cancer types, we develop quantitative theoretical models for explaining data from in vitro experiments involving pancreatic cancer as well as in vivo data in glioblastoma multiforme. Such physical and mathematical models complement experimental studies, and could optimistically provide new ideas for the design of efficacious therapies for cancer patients.

During China’s air pollution campaign, whistleblowing has become an important way for the central government to discover local environmental issues. The three parties involved in whistleblowing are: the central government environmental protection departments, the local government officials, and the whistleblowers. Based on these players, this paper has constructed an Evolutionary Game Model under incomplete information and introduced the expected return as well as replicator dynamics equations of various game agents based on analysis of the game agents, assumptions, and payoff functions of the model in order to study the strategic dynamic trend and stability of the evolutionary game model. Furthermore, this paper has conducted simulation experiments on the evolution of game agents’ behaviors by combining the constraints and replicator dynamics equations. The conclusions are: the central environmental protection departments are able to effectively improve the environmental awareness of local government officials by measures such as strengthening punishment on local governments that do not pay attention to pollution issues and lowering the cost of whistleblowing, thus nurturing a good governance and virtuous circle among the central environmental protection departments, local government officials, and whistleblowers. Based on the study above, this paper has provided policy recommendations in the conclusion.

This study appraised the use of the new media by students in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. The objectives of the study were to identify extent of use of new media and to find out challenges experienced while using new media for learning in schools in the Local Government Area. The study adopted survey and quasi experiment as research designs. The population of the study stood at 5,609 representing entire population of the students and heads of schools studied. Sample size of 568 was used in the study. Findings showed that some of the schools were truly new media based but under utilized by the students in learning. The challenges experienced by students differed from one school to another. It was recommended that teachers should be retrained. Adequate new media facilities should be made available in school curriculum to include new media practice in all subjects.
