Both vascular surgeons and podiatric physicians care for patients with diabetic foot ulcerations (DFUs), one of today's most challenging health-care populations in the United States. The prevalence of DFUs has steadily increased, along with the rising costs associated with care. Because of the numerous comorbidities affecting these patients, it is necessary to take a multidisciplinary approach in the management of these patients. Such efforts, primarily led by podiatric physicians and vascular surgeons, have been shown to effectively decrease major limb loss. Establishing an interprofessional partnership between vascular surgery and podiatric medicine can lead to an improvement in the delivery of care and outcomes of this vulnerable patient population.

The purpose of this study is to assess the current methodological support for the analysis of indicators of investment attractiveness of enterprises and agribusiness projects, identify shortcomings and justify proposals in order to make effective management decisions on the feasibility of investing. Methods of analysis of indicators of investment attractiveness of enterprises, approved at the legislative level, are investigated, their shortcomings are defined. Indicators of investment attractiveness are indicators on the basis of which investors determine the feasibility of investing. In most cases, in order to make effective management decisions, it is customary to conduct a comprehensive analysis. One of the methods of independent inspection of an enterprise or object for investment, based on an integrated approach, is the Due Diligence method. To date, there is no single comprehensive method of Due Diligence. Such verification is carried out by enterprises with the use of foreign practices, with the adaptation of the methodology to the peculiarities of the national business and economic environment, as well as with the use of national methods of analysis and evaluation of enterprises. Having analyzed the methodological support for the analysis of enterprises in Ukraine, we can state that the main criteria for assessing the financial stability of the enterprise are: financial stability, profitability, solvency, creditworthiness, liquidity and business activity. According to the functional purpose, the assessment of agribusiness enterprises has the same methodology as the assessment of enterprises of other sectors of the economy. However, when analyzing the performance of agricultural enterprises, it is necessary to take into account specific objects – biological assets of plant and animal origin, seasonality, climatic conditions, land relations, heterogeneity of equipment and means of production over time. As a result of the study, the method of analysis of investment attractiveness of agricultural enterprises taking into account sectoral characteristics was further developed, including the following indicators: environmental and economic effect, budget effect, social efficiency of the project, efficiency of modernization, efficiency of innovation. The use of these indicators will increase the efficiency of managing indicators of investment attractiveness of investments.

Effective management of stormwater is critical to the continued health of the environment. Progression of stormwater management techniques has evolved to include wider, sustainable objectives, particularly the development of Low Impact Development (LID) methods. Despite the recognition that the application of LID practices is a viable approach to older forms of stormwater management, there exist various challenges and barriers to widespread support. In particular, absent is a methodology to plan for LID practices on a large-scale that encompasses not only technical criteria, but economical, and social aspects as well. To address this need, the objective of this study proposes a framework for LID planning on a watershed level. The LID planning Framework is comprised of four main components evaluated in a sequential process to support the development of effective management strategies. Specifically, hydrological performance evaluation of LID technologies throughout a watershed; cost-effectiveness analysis; and stakeholders’ opinions and acceptance levels of these technologies, are used as input to the final decision-making component. The LID Planning Framework is developed in an Ontario context with a particular focus on the Lake Simcoe Watershed. This study will promote an integrated approach to LID planning, which can be used support the uptake of LID principles and encourage more sustainable methods in stormwater management as a whole.

Abstract Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) are the results of the combined effects of diabetes-related vascular disease and neuropathy. DFUs are responsible for more hospitalizations than any other complication of diabetes. It can impair patients’ quality of life and affect social participation and livelihood. It is one of the big challenges for podiatric surgeons to salvage the foot upto optimum. A case of DFU of a patient of 70 years of age with repeated history of Ray’s Amputation was managed by an integrated approach (Ayurveda and Allopathy medications and procedures).
