The world is changing rapidly due to information technology, and all the people around the world are busy with their jobs, and business, adjusting to this race. Now, parents are giving more time at their business, office, and jobs, instead of passing the time at home, but they always get worried and scared about their children due to abuse of Information Technology and the country's law and order situation. So, parents are wanted to track and monitor their child's activities and location from anywhere to resolve their pressure. But is not possible for every parent to monitor their child physically due to many reasons. This paper presents a system that will help parents monitor their child activities from anywhere using a mobile phone to solve the problem. This android app uses global positioning system (GPS) and mobile services to find the child location and secretly stored all the call logs, hort message service (SMS) logs, contact lists, and accurate locations without knowing the children. Children assume that they are using Facebook, browsing the net or watching videos from youtube. It will not hamper any activities of the child. Parents can check all the activities of children using this app.

Public transportation is an effective method of mobility that promotes cost-saving and is environmentally friendly. Poor public transport ridership in Malaysia is due to the unsatisfactory attitude of public transport users and inaccurate information on departure and arrivals. Sarawak, a state of Malaysia, is especially poor in ridership of public transport. A real-time Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking application (app) was found to be an effective tool to increase the ridership of public transport. Hence, a mobile app named UniBus was developed to enhance the ridership of public transport in Sarawak. The determinants that affect satisfaction and customer loyalty such as accessibility, reliability, comfort, safety, and security were all examined before and after the use of real-time GPS tracking app. The data was collected in Kuching, and targeted public transport users who used the UniBus app. The result indicated that all the mentioned variables were improved after using a real-time GPS tracking app. It is suggested that future studies can consider other factors such as service quality, availability, and perceived value as well as cover other states of Malaysia.

ISLAM is as natural to the people of Afghanistan as the air they breathe.Any system repugnant to Islam or the introduction of alien forces to introducea new social order has always been resisted by the Afghans. The presentAfghan-Soviet war is one such story. The war is a matter of vital importance because its outcome will immenselyaffect Pakistan, Iran, and the rest of the Muslim world. It will also upset thebalance of power between the West and the Soviets, and might change thedirection of oil flow. It is curious that the war is not given the support orattention it deserves, in spite of its global ramifications. The West perhapsignores the war as Afghanistan is far removed from the Western mainstream, and its impact is not generally understood because the Afghan Mujahideenlack a sophisticated network of information. Moreover, the Soviets continuemisleading the world by claiming the war is only a law and order problembetween the Afghan government and a handful of “bandits” encouraged fromoutside. The war is neither a law and order matter nor its impact hard to realize.Afghan Mujahideen are fighting the Soviets to force them out of Afghanistan, and the Soviets are trying to hold on using biological, chemical, and othersophisticated weapons. In spite of enormous destruction and genocide, theAfghan Mujahideen are determined to fight to the last, and so apparently arethe Soviets to consolidate their occupation of Afghanistan. This paper presentsan analysis of the war and its impact on Pakistan, the Muslim world, andthe West from a geopolitical standpoint. A brief discussion of Afghanistanexplains the former status of Afghanistan as a buffer state first between theRussians and the British and later between the Soviets and Pakistan.Modern Afghanistan dates back to 1747 when Ahmad Shah Durrani tookover reins of that country. More or less during the same time, the British ...

This paper presents a nonlinear vision-based observer to estimate 3D translational position and velocity of a quadrotor aerial robot for closed-loop, position-based, visual-servo control in global positioning system (GPS)-denied environments. The method allows for motion control in areas where GPS signals are weak or absent, for example, inside of a building. Herein, the robot uses a low-cost on-board camera to observe at least two feature points fixed in the world frame to self-localize for feedback control, without constraints on the altitude of the robot. The nonlinear observer described takes advantage of the geometry of the perspective projection and is designed to update the translational position and velocity in real-time by exploiting visual information and information from an inertial measurement unit. One key advantage of the algorithm is it does not require constraints or assumptions on the altitude and initial estimation errors. Two new controllers based on the backstepping technique that take advantage of the estimator's output are described and implemented for trajectory tracking. The Lyapunov method is used to show asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system. Simulation and experimental results from an indoor environment where GPS localization is not available are presented to demonstrate feasibility and validate the performance of the observer and control system for hovering and tracking a circular trajectory defined in the world frame.

This work is a SMS (Short Message Service) based tracking system, that uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) and GSM module which is installed in a secret part of the vehicle and is in charge of tracking the vehicle and sending the location of the vehicle in terms of coordinates to the GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) module. The GSM module receives the coordinates via SMS in which the information is sent to the owner of the vehicle or the police and the vehicle’s position can be located in a map with the aid of the Google Maps application. This work implements the foundation of GPS, GSM, and all other embedded systems, with the use of their concepts to produce a vehicle tracking device that is cheaper and more effective than other tracking device in the market today.

This paper proposes and implements a solution for the navigation difficulty and enhancing the rail transportation in a simple way by combining Wireless Communication and GPS Technology by developing a GPS Based Real Time Personal Destination Predictor. In this method by sending SMS (Short Message Service) and Voice Call to the registered passenger’s mobile phone, we alert the passenger about his destination at the specified time before reaching the destination. If the user sends the PNR (Passenger’s Name Record) number obviously the server responds with a SMS to the mobile phone of the particular ticket received user. Once the request is responded, the GPS (Global Positioning System) which is the train will locate the live position of the train as latitude and longitude value which will be transferred by the wireless communication to the server and the server will response the location from the Google Maps and intimate the passenger before the specified time of the arrival of the destination station of the passenger, which can be known from the PNR details of the passenger, through SMS and Voice Call. Even the person waiting for the passenger in the destination can avail this facility from his mobile phone by registering with the passenger’s PNR number.

Global Positioning System (GPS) is being used more and more for a wide range of applications. This is a reliable position, navigation for end-users of anywhere in the world or around the globe, on any weather, day or night. The synchronization benefit gives that the GPS has three segments: space, control and client GPS has turned into a broadly utilized route apparatus over the world and turn into a helpful instrument for mapping, overviews, business, logical utilizations, checking and diversion has gone. As in any of the current GPS systems of geographic and entertainment, the security requirements of civilian navigation in the sea are met because the sea border of a country cannot be marked. This work concentrates on the flexibility and utility of a GPS in the ocean. The principle motivation behind the work is to help anglers explore past the limits of different nations. In the event that an angler goes past the limits of the nation, at that point a notice emerges, showing that the anglers have crossed the outskirt. Furthermore, a GSM transmitter interface will make an impression on construct station situated with respect to the shore showing that a vessel has crossed the fringe. Hence protects in the shore can help and give extra help to those anglers if necessary. Remembering about existences of Indian anglers, this gadget has been made to help them not to move past Indian. Overall, it is an endeavor to fabricate an appropriate gadget for the anglers at a sensibly ease.

Providing security to the citizens is one of the most important and complex task for the governments around the world which they have to deal with. Street crimes and theft are the biggest threats for the citizens and their belonging. In order to provide security, there is an urgent need of a system that is capable of identifying the criminal in the crowded area. This paper proposes a facial recognition system using Local Binary Patterns Histogram Face recognizer mounted on drone technology. The facial recognition capability is a key feature for a drone to have in order to find or identify the person within the crowd. With the inception of drone technology in the proposed system, we can use it as a surveillance drone as well through which it can cover more area as compared to the stationary system. As soon as the system identifies the desired person, it tags him and transmits the image along with the co-ordinates of the location to the concerned authorities using mounted global positioning system. Proposed system is capable of identifying the person with the accuracy of approximately 89.1%.
