Electronic learning is fast becoming a crucial aspect of learning in higher institutions of learning. Just as in any other technology, there are important factors that affect users’ behavioural intention to adopt e-learning. The unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) identified performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions as some of the factors that may influence the behavioural intention and actual use of a technology.

The use of e-learning in the learning process at Amikom Purwokerto University has been implemented since early 2019 by utilizing the ILIAS e-learning platform. The problem that arises is whether students are satisfied and intend to continue using the ILIAS platform for the online learning process during the pandemic period and afterwards where there are still many obstacles experienced by students during online lectures. This study aims to assess the behavioral intention of Amikom Purwokerto University students to use ILIAS as an online learning platform by adopting the UTAUT2 (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2) model. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it shows that each variable has a significant effect and has a significant impact on the use of ILIAS, this is evidenced by each hypothesis being accepted with a t-value> 1.96. Based on the t-value, the variable Performance Expectancy, Facilitating Condition and Habit is the variable with the highest t-value among the other variables, namely (PE -> BI = 16.8709), (FC -> UB = 13.4742) and (HB - > UB = 12.6896). This shows that these three variables have a high significant influence and impact on the use of ILIAS. In further research, it may be possible to consider the use of moderating variables such as age, gender, experience, and so on or add other variables such as Security and Information Quality.

Theoretical framework models are widely employed by researchers because these models are able to provide an in-depth understanding of the phenomena under investigation. The models most commonly adopted by researchers in the field of e-learning are the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). This paper presents a review of studies that have included the UTAUT framework as a guideline for the research. More specifically, this paper concentrates on research that has been conducted in Saudi Arabia. The results of this review indicate that according to the review and an analysis of previous studies, facilitating conditions, performance expectancy and effort expectancy have positive effects on users’ intentions to integrate and adopt E-Learning technologies. Finally, this paper presents and highlights area for future work.

Technological enhancements as well as the demand of students to access learning information on time and quickly has resulted to the development of e-learning across the world. Mobile learning has been adopted by most learning institution as a mobile technology that allows learners to access learning materials and share information among themselves and respective educators easily and quickly. This article discusses the intention of users in learning environment adopting m-learning, their perceptions as well as factors that hinder implementation of m-learning in the gulf region. Effective mobile technology adoption also enhances knowledge management through mobile applications that allow information capture, storage, retrieval and sharing.  This study uses systematic literature review to collect information from post 2017 studies previous conducted by other researchers. Articles were searched through highly ranked databases from which 657 journals were identified. After the screening and eligibility assessment, 24 journals were retrieved. The back and forward search retrieved 4 more journals bringing the total to 28 journals that were included in the study. Based on this information, a conceptual model is developed to help assess the m-learning perceptions, adoption intentions and factors influencing its adoption among learning institutions in the gulf region. This model is built based on the Theory of Planned Behavior and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. Based on the developed model, main constructs such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence are greatly impacted by other factors like learner’s creativity and mobility.

El presente estudio analiza las intenciones de los usuarios acerca del uso de sistemas de tele-enseñanza LMS (Learning Management Systems), basándose en un modelo que integra el Modelo de Aceptación Tecnológica (TAM, Technology Acceptance Model), la Teoría del Comportamiento Percibido (TPB, Theory of Planned Behavior) y la Teoría Unificada de la Aceptación y Uso de la Tecnología (UTAUT, Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology), tomando la edad como variable moderadora. Así, este artículo estudia la influencia de la intención conductual, la actitud hacia el uso, la facilidad de uso percibida, la utilidad percibida, la norma subjetiva y la influencia social en la intención de utilizar sistemas e-learning LMS. Como antecedentes de estos factores de influencia se plantean las características del sistema y del usuario. El resultado de la revisión teórica es un modelo unificado que ha sido validado con datos recogidos de 94 estudiantes a través de un cuestionario en línea. Estos datos han sido analizados utilizando la técnica de mínimos cuadrados parciales, y los principales resultados confirman la relevancia predictiva del modelo para usuarios de entre 26 y 35 años y de entre 36 y 45 años.   This study analyses students’ intentions to use e-learning management systems based on an inventory which integrates the Technology Adoption Model (TAM), the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), with the difference of age as moderating variable. In particular, the most relevant learning management systems (LMS) adoption models have been reviewed from literature. Thus, this paper studies the influence of behavioral intention, attitude toward use, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, subjective norms and social influence in the intention to use e-learning management systems. User and system characteristics have been proposed as antecedents of the former factors. The result of this review is a unified model which has been validated with data collected from 94 students through a web questionnaire, and the results from this data have been analysed using the partial least squares (PLS) method. The analysis has demonstrated the predictive relevance and the validation of the model for users between 26 to 35 years old and 36 to 45 years old.

The new coronavirus disease that was first identified in Wuhan, China, is referred to as the 2019 coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19). The impact of this pandemic has affected various fields, one of which is education, and one of the consequences is the implementation of online teaching and learning processes. In this digital era, Telkom University is implementing CeLOE LMS as an E-Learning medium. CeLOE Learning Management System (LMS) is an online learning platform for regular and distance education study programs at Telkom University. For the application of CeLOE LMS, there has been no report that contains user acceptance of the use of CeLOE LMS that tested with an integrated model. Therefore, the solution offered by this research was to conduct an analysis to determine user acceptance of the application of the CeLOE LMS system by using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) Model at Telkom University to produce report that can be used as a basis for further decision making by Telkom University in managing its services as the UTAUT Model attempts to clarify the intentions of students to use an information system and the usage actions of students. From this research, it was found that the CeLOE LMS has been accepted and used by Telkom University students with all hypotheses accepted, Performance Expectancy as the variable with the greatest influence, and it needs improvements related to technical infrastructure, organizational infrastructure, and socialization of CeLOE LMS due to the influence of Facilitating Conditions variable was the lowest.

E-learning merupakan media dalam proses pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pendidik dan peserta didik sehingga memudahkan proses pembelajaran. Sebagai sebuah sistem informasi yang sering digunakan oleh peserta didik, e-learning harus memiliki standar tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil evaluasi kesuksesan e-learning dan penerimaannya di kalangan peserta didik pada STIKOM Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan model DeLone &McLean (D&M) untuk mengukur tingkat kesuksesan sistem informasi dan model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) untuk mengukur tingkat penerimaan teknologi. Agar dapat mengetahui hasil evaluasi antara kesuksesan sistem informasi dan penerimaan teknologi untuk maka kedua model ini kemudian diintegrasikan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian. Kedua model ini dapat menggambarkan bagaimana masing-masing variabel pengukuran saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain, sehingga keterkaitan antar variabelnya dapat diketahui. Selain itu kedua model ini mempertimbangkan bagaimana perilaku pengguna ketika menggunakan sebuah sistem informasi. Hasil menunjukan bahwa penerimaan pengguna terhadap penerapan e-learning menyebabkan sebuah informasi sukses diterapkan dalam lingkungannya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari model penelitian yang diajukan menunjukan sebagian besar variabelnya mempengaruhi kesuksesan penerapan e-learning baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Variabel-variabel tersebut adalah performance quality, effort expectancy, system quality, behavioral intention, dan user satisfaction.

PT.X merupakan salah satu Perusahaan Milik Negara di Indonesia yang bergerak dibidang jasa transportasi. Didalam proses penjulaan tiketnya PT X sudah menerapkan sebuah sistem e-ticket sebagai alternative bagi pelangga untuk melakukan pembelian tiket. Sudah beberapa tahun e-ticket diterapkan di perusahaan tersebut, namun pengguna jasa transportasi di PT.X, hingga saat ini belum banyak yang menggunakan sistem tersebut. Pihak PT.X menyaranakan adanya penelitian untuk menganalisis penerimaan penggunaan sistem e-ticket di PT.X guna pengembangan Sistem E-ticket selanjutnya. Salah satu model yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis perilaku penggunaan teknologi adalah model Unified Theory Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). UTAUT adalah salah satu model yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengukuran terhadap penerimaan pengguna pada sistem yang sedang diterapkan. Pengurukan dilakukan dengan memperhatikan beberapa indikator pengukuran, yaitu : performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI), facilitating conditions (FC), gender (G), age (A), experience (E), voluntariness of use (VoU), behavioral intention (BI), dan use behavior (UB). Penelitian ini memperoleh variabel yang mempengaruhi penerimaan penggunaan e-ticket di PT.X yang meliputi ekspektansi kinerja (PE), ekspektasni usaha (EE), dan pengaruh sosial (SI) berpengaruh positif terhadap niat dari penggunaan sistem (BI) dengan pemoderasinya jenis kelamin (G), usia (A), dan pengalaman (E).
